Blimey! Came across this via wikipedia...wonderful couple of pictures! I've never seen any of this gig before. It was my first U2 concert and I performed on stage with a giant head on me (Larry!) before the show...was lucky enough to be in the VIP section at the front, literally within touching distance of Bono. One of the best nights of my life!

My first U2 concert, too. I was at the front having queued all day, right infront of the left hand speaker stack (I have a dodgy left ear to this day because of it!), just the other side of the walkway to the B-stage.Excellent concert - will never forget the opening to Zoo Station. Stunning.

It was my first U2 gig too. What a concert. I was lucky to get into the VIP section and was stood about ten feet from the barrier in front of Adam. I remember at one point between songs I was so excited I shouted Bono's name and he looked straight at me. Being 19 and pretty shy, I didn't know what to do, so like a rabbit in the headlights I just smiled shyly at him. Bono could see my fear and gave me a lovely smile back. Top man. :)
