Blimey! Came across this via wikipedia...wonderful couple of pictures! I've never seen any of this gig before. It was my first U2 concert and I performed on stage with a giant head on me (Larry!) before the show...was lucky enough to be in the VIP section at the front, literally within touching distance of Bono. One of the best nights of my life!

Oh oh Robert, you better hit the road and dont come back under no circumstances...if Kitty gets her hands on you, I cant help. So, keep my words in mind if you ever think of coming back!!!Haha,no Robert you are welcome and nice to hear that you survived Larrys big head, damn so jealous. And absolutely afraid of what is coming if i see this "chaos" on the pic!

It was 20 years ago today.. Never mind the Beatles, this U2 gig changed my life beyond all recognition, as well as a few others too. I was only a teenager but by the time I walked out I knew that visuals was what I wanted to do. I went on to form a big video screen company, The Picture Works. Made tons of new friends, met the queen, worked for Pink Floyd at Live8 & saw the world as a result. It is still the best show I've seen, on every level - nothing else comes close. It was so far ahead of its time that I still wonder how they did it. Everything You Know Is Wrong
