This is the very first picture I took when he pulled me up the cat-walk. You can see that I was shocked, it is a bad composition thats why I did not put him here earlier.HP

Only bad compisition I feel now is the fact that I still see no Edge...No really H-P, I think it's how you look at the pic and when we know now what you know.. there is no bad composition. To be honest, I couldn't see bad compesition even without knowing what I know now.. you get it?? Anyway, I like photos that look this way.. alive. Are you going to take more when they get back in summer?

Triple.. gawd you have that right!! ((say this in Dr. Frankenstein's sing song whine..IT'S ALIVE...IT'S ALIVE !!!!))... I dropped my jaw the moment I saw this photo..seriously I began to study it and Triple you know how I feel about black and white..(pssst Hans its not my favorite when it comes to my guy....but this one.. this one's a whole different story). Bono looks like he could walk right out of this photo emerging from his shadows protection into a candle lit room...His eyes look very umm..you know I can't actually describe this look that Hans has captured ....let me say there's a most facinating vagueness to them but yet at the same time there's an undefined intimacy to his stare that first strikes out at you... slowly it's reeling you in as you peruse it... I am most curious...how did you accomplish this enigma Hans? ...there's something that draws you to his eyes like magnets..I suppose its that mystery were *always* trying to define ..that revealing little door to Bono's inner clock works.. that ellusive ignition thats his and his alone..so Ok you look at this picture with that " innocent just want to see his darling face-- alls fine in the world-- I just want to be pleasured attitude, ya know ?...and immediately his eyes catch you by surprise holding you with invisible pulls when suddenly your GAWD DAMN heart starts racing that little double beat pounding it up into your temples ..your spine jumps on board adding its shivery speedways making you sit up straighter in your chair... your eyes dialate fixating a rapt attention jarring your brain... and no sh-- for a crazy wild moment you actually think "GAWD am I about to hit effing pay dirt with this one?!!! Am I about to get a key to the poets door and a view to his soul? giddy and just short of estatic you think "Is it possible? a quick delusion rears its head and " yes " ya even mouth it aloud ..."could it be right there on that slick sliding photo?" You breath-it-in and you believe....aww weell.. *smiling at oneself *..as you subside back in your cozy chair you naturally have NOT but its that electrifying split second of utter and complete heart failure that makes this photo worth while Hans..... this photo's secret speaks for itself ..it sure as hell doesn't suck!!!..and frankly I'm surprised someone hasn't pointed it out to you before Triple did....its really one of the most curious and facinating shots I've ever seen of him.....pssst huns look for all the little details in life and appreciate this one...*perspective or none*....thanks to ya both...grrr SCG

MAybe you remember that I was telling about the experience being pulled up the catwalk by Bono himself. Well at this very moment he is dancing in front of my camera, just for me and nobody else. It felt realy strange. When I looked around I saw 40.000 people dancing shouting waving etc etc etc. And for that very short moment I felt the same Bono must feel every time he is performing. The reason I started about the composition is because I could not think at that moment I just clicked and clicked. So anyway thanks a lot for all the complements. By the way the little boy in the corner is me( 6 years old)See ya HP

Hans your here or you were...anyway want to ask...when you say it was weird tell me about that...was it a good feeling or bad feeling was it scary or were you way beyond scared? Or did you wish it was all for you! Don't laugh Ok ok ..hihi (this would be since it has all happened and you dream back on it of course) I personally think it would be addicting..very thrilling and dream about wanting it again for myself! ( butt i could be just talking about getting near Bono so ignore me)!!..and also meeting them again?...you have to give me the feeling? All those people did you feel them or was it like an out of body Not real feeling and you can't remember how you felt ?!!!...ummm Did you feel Bono's energy? Did you look at Edge or the others or just Bono? Click click clicking is good cause you captured something there some rarities...hell being up there is a rarity...Did I ask too much????? gosh ...you say their to be in Holland next week ? Why are they coming there..whats up? Good luck with your exhibit ...what if they actually showed up!..what would you say???or would you just grab your camera and start clicking away...Hahaha..grrr..take care SCG

Oke, the feeling was the best ever had( compering to other special or weird things I've been through). Just imagion Bono who's taking your hand pulles you up and starts to dance in front of you, just for YOU. This is something I couldn't dream of before. Oke when I am going to shoot a special concert I always hope to get in contact with somebody of the band, but this experience is the best I ever had. 1996 I took some pics of Tears for Fears. I like them very much, so after the show we had a little chat in a bar called "stairway to heaven". The next day they played in Brussels(Belgium). He saw me played the first cords of the song "stairway to heaven" pointed at me and started the concert with one of their songs. This was a very nice, chickenskin experience. So comparing to the experience with Bono this is a further step forward to the ultimed thrill. About Bono's energie, his hand was warm, he is not realy tall( I am about 6f5), but very charismatic( I hope I spelled it right). You feel it when your that close to him. Just imagion a band I folllow since 1979 and than this. After the show a lot of people asked me why I was smiling? I kept this smile till the very present day, because nobody can take this experience away from me.Take care HAns-Peter
