Well, you can be sure I prefer him being 40!! I wouldn't want him to be a minute younger!! I would just want him to be a few thousands kilometres closer..

Ever imagined what it would be like if they just lived across the road? Or maybe in the nearest town or so... Should be a strange feeling, but of course a very exciting feeling! I would probably feel the same way at home as I do in Dublin: That inexplicable feeling that at any moment, at any corner, there is the possibility that you run into one of them. Very exciting I must say... :-)

Yeah..it's pretty strange...walking around Dublin's beautiful streets, being at Bono's gate, stopping next to the Clarence, you get too anxious cause you know they can show up in front of you at any moment...i didn't have that luck, though! :( ***

I wonder, living across the street of Edge.. would he turn out to be, you know, one of the neighbours you try to avoid. 'God, it's that man again, I hate the way he stares at me, better hide, before he sees me!' ..or.. ' Look what those little brats of that neighbour did again, they draw graffiti on my car, saying Loser!!' ..or.. 'Oh shit, the neighbours dog crapped on my roses again!! This time I'll make that Edge eat it!!' .. or then I would move my bed and chairs to the nearest window, or porch and just enjoy the views!! I think I would go insane.. seeing him way too often and not being able to have him..

And having guests at home, imagine..a business dinner and everybody having intellecutal conversations and talking about work (yummy)...when suddenly you're forced to think to yourself: "Oh, s**t, there is that damn next door neighbour playing guitar again!! Who does he think he is?? A rich, famous ROCK STAR???!!", then, having to appologise for the terrible noise and having to hear it all night long.......yuck...horrible...no? ;) ***

Yes HV, oh sh**, I would have to, maybe, listen to him to play 'WTSHNN'.. in the middle of the night!! No way!! I mean, I would hate that! I would just have to.. you know, ring his door bell.., or then just climb through his bedroom window, to tell him a few words of wisdom, oh jee, I would hate that.. living next door to The Edge... ;)

*LOOOL!* So true! You probably couldn't go to work anymore because you would have to stay glued to the window 24 hours a day! Should be so funny... and of course, after a while, he'd know you ("Ah, there's my nice neighbour...") and greet you and chat with you... *sigh*I have to tell you a funny story there... When I was in Dublin for the first time, I went out to Killiney to look for Bono's house. At first, I didn't find it and honestly walked past it (stupid me), and kept walking and walking up the hill until I was exhausted. I stopped in front of another house and sat there and looked at that house and thought, gee, this is an ugly house, reddish-brown and strange architecture... wonder who lives in there... Then I walked back and managed to find Bono's house.Well, when I came back home I found out, that this "ugly" house was Edge's! And I stood before it, rested on a little wall just in front of it and didn't know it! Grrr... Typical me!

.. and there was Edge, peeping through the window, "Oh, gosh, that is a beautiful lady, I'll better run out to the garden and paint the cat, if she would come and have a chat with me!", being the shy guy, he had to do it this way, but when he got out, as Morleigh asked him to paint the dog first on his way, you were already gone!! ..Oh Slateblue, bad bad luck, that was..

Yeah... *sigh* I figure that's just the way life is. Cannot have everything... but of course I've been rewarded a hundredfold a few years later... still am... :-)

Wow...bad luck slate! When i was in Dublin, there was a day when i went on a bus tour and, of course, it passed by killiney! When the guide said: "Here in the left is U2's Bono's house!", me, my best friend and my mother released a loud scream and forced the driver to stop there! So, in the pouring rain i ran out of the bus and stood petrified in front of that big black gate, until my mother took a picture of me (in which i look like an alien) and the guide ordered us to climb back on the bus, cause he was afraid of Bono's security!! the guide, an irishman in his 50s, told me that he once had an argument with Bono himself cause of stopping the bus everytime there was a u2 fan in it!!! But my heart probably stopped as i stood there...but my luck is, as usual, very, very bad luck!! ***

great stories of our mens houses, girls!! hope that I will go there as well in the future...maybe. think its better for me to live far away from them...its scary enough for me to find myself thinking so much about them, dont want to imagine what would happen if they would be my neighbours!!! I wouldnt have a calm moment..this is to slateblue: hun, plllleeeeezzzz tell me at what channel they will repeat the tribute show!!! I already looked in the videotext at all channels but cant find it!!!
