Brain Teaser // Mind Bender: i presume all you guys out there have heard of the U2 brain teaser? if not then chekck it out and try and solve the puzzle within 5 mins... the puzzle goes as thus:The B man & Co have a concert that starts in 17 minutes and they must all cross a bridge to get there. All four men begin on the same side of the bridge. You must help them across to the other side. It is night. There is one flashlight. A maximum of two people can cross at one time. Any party who crosses, either 1 or 2 people, must have the flashlight with them. The flashlight must be walked back and forth, it cannot be thrown, etc. Each band member walks at a different speed. A pair must walk together at the rate of the slower man's pace: Bono: - 1 minute to cross Edge: - 2 minutes to cross Adam: - 5 minutes to cross Larry: - 10 minutes to cross For example: if Bono and Larry walk across first, 10 minutes have elapsed when they get to the other side of the bridge. If Larry then returns with the flashlight, a total of 20 minutes have passed and you have failed the mission.

Oh Ranger I can Solve this little delema in a flash.... Kitty grabs Bono's hand snatches the flash light and hightails like a bat out of hell over the bridge into the darken woods to play hide'n'go'seek with the man of her dreams.....what was so hard about that?...your gonna have to get more clever than that my rowdy Ranger or these puzzles are dead in the water...... and pleeeze don't say "but what about the other band members?" cause kitty's answer is Hey they can find there own way home!!!! grrrrrr

come come kitty...i like your initiative...the answers is a good one, but is ultimately incorrect. remember they are no the way to a concert...you can't prowl off into the woods and play catch with the front man ( well not at least till after the show )...so come on, put yer thinking furrr on and post me the answer! Bono heaves Larry up on his very strong nicely rounded shoulders with flash light in hand and traipses the bridge ?.comes back picks up Edge carrys him across with flash light still in hand?.comes back?heaves up Adam carries him across with flash light still in hand and he hasn't even broken a sweat?ok that took 5 minutes?Bono doesn't have to go at the slower pace because his pace is 1 minute and he's the only one actually walking?..kitty smiling like a Cheshire cause that leaves 12 minutes for Bono to come get me run off into the woods and still make it to the concert?..alls happy in my world?.*kitty stretches getting the crinks out of neck & pulling twigs from hair*?.grrrrrOr if you wanna be a Saber tooth jackass about it?*kitty flips her ponytail in a huff*? Bono and Larry cross with flashlight in hand ?.Bono comes back that?s 11 min. ?.Bono takes Adam across and comes back that?s 6 more minutes ?Ok times up so gotta make the best of a sticky situation? that leaves Edge and Bono on my side of the bridge and plum clean out of time so I?m just gonna have to run off with both of them into the woods?..*kitty gone to her happy place and she ain't com'in back* ?.. grrrrrr

Soul Cat...i know that you think i'm bustin your chops about this....but, in the rules...it does say that both guys HAVE to walk and that the pace is based upon the slower walker...listen, give it another go....its quite easy..its just a question of the transferal of resources in the most effective manner...go on...give it another go..KITTY KAT treats for you if you make it 3rd time...
