Berlin dates are not good, so that will be out.Where is this Gelsenkirchen, which airport is closest?Munich looks almost certain :), but wouldn't want to wait that long ..

Cologne-Bonn (CGN) should be also close. Germanwings is flying from Helsinki to Cologne-Bonn.

triple yeeezzzz I would be very proud to have you in my hometown... THIS gelsenkirchen is about 40 minutes away from dusseldorf international airport, which is the biggest one in the area around gelsenkirchen. the two smaller airports dortmund and münster/osnabrück (take a look at them when you book, most of the flights are very cheap)are in the same distance (münster about 60 minutes). the airport cologne/bonn ist about 1 hour away.
