Bono got out of his car and signed autographs for about 20 minutes. I never saw him take the flowers. The only thing he took that I saw was the 4 pack of Guiness that my brother and I bought him for his birthday. He was so nice, you would have never thought he was a rock superstar.

I really didn't say much to him. I wanted his autograph, and tried to keep others behind me from pushing me over. I do recall thanking him for taking the time to spend with his fans since few superstars do. He appreciated that. The impression I got from him is you could meet him on a street and easily start up a conversation with him.

Yaaa I could see me out on the street spotting Bono coming my way!... ya know the looney toons depicting a cat with its eyeballs popping out smoke bellowing out it's nose and ears with its tongue dragging the ground and its electrafied body ready to explode...that would be meeee! I could probably speak in fluent gibberish and pray Bono wasn't frightened off by excessive slobbering.... :)) .....I'd say you did excellent and this photo shows it ...vera vera nice its super....grrr

soulie hun, I bet you would NEVEREVER just start up a conversation with him, I would´nt do that as well.. ;)) but jason, thanks for this little story, you are blessed now, take care of this feeling. hopefully I will be lucky as well when they come to europe.. just 3,5 more weeks to go and I cant wait..soulie, did you hear about triple and her plans to come to one of the german shows?? or matt, do you know something??

LOL yeah I'd need CPR (mouth to mouth of course!!) from the man first...then I'd really thought I'd died and went to heaven!!!....OMG there about ready to pay you girls a fabulous visit.....I'm excited for you...squuuueeeeee! ...and about Triple I haven't heard a peep out the woman....TRIPLE WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU???..... I wish I would have the same private vertigo-tour-plan as slate, but I think she will see a lot more shows than me... I will see Gelsenkirchen on 12.6., Berlin on 7.6. and Amsterdam on 15.7. I will have seats which are all quite good, in Gelsenkirchen they are very good. UAHHH I JUST CANT WAIT TO SEE THEEEE BEST BUTT ON THE PLANET AGAIN!!! ;))

THREE SHOWS IS AWESOME GIRL...there are people here that would sell there family for one show... :) ... are those shows back to back or are they seperated? ..... If you get a program you'll have to tell us here in the states what it looks like cause it will probably be different than ours... :) oh about the little butts ...I can't remember who came up with it but it was Bono's(_!_)OMG I think that is IT>>>> hahahahahaha.... oh well I've obviously got to much time on my hands.. *winks*....welll gonna go I haven't been to bed all night been up writing and I've got writers block that is just kicking my butt!!!!! ....grrrr night sweety...XXX

Hihihi, Tanja, my private tour schedule this time isn't nearly as full as the last time. So far, I've only planned the three German shows plus Dublin. Maybe Italy, but I don't know yet... there has to be some room for spontaneity! ;-)24 days to go!!! Whohooo!!!

I know what Jason means: I met Bono twice when he was up here in Vancouver. Both times I got so nervous I couldn't say anything. But he shook my hand and signed my rare copy of the Please single. He was very sincere and gentle. I just with I had not temporarily lost my tongue.....
