Okay. I've fallen out of my chair trying not to laugh. But this is just too much. He is fully off the ground and the water is fully out of the bottle. This time I fell off my chair because my fits of laughter broke it.

He's saying Hello Hello (Ola) - 40 hours later - we are still flying in mysterious ways, but that's alright!

Ok girls we will switch to this one. It is cute how he is in the air. Does everyone agree? I think this one should be the one also, since he is flying in it,and he is an angel.:) Hey Sushi, I got the MOJO mag at Virgin record store. I went to the other book stores in our area and they all had the American version of MOJO. I saw on line how it was the June edition, then went to the book store and saw a whole different one for June and got confused. It wasn't until I was at Virgin that I saw our boys on the cover and dashed over to grab it,it is the British version!! So, my advice is to go to an international type book store,or if you have Virgin record store up there, then that is where you sould go.Soulie, I would love to see that footage!!!! I love when they do random things like that and are just them selves having a good time. I keep reading how the Rattle and Hum movie was a flop commercially, but I really disagree. I love seeing them on that. Larry was quoted in the MOJO mag saying they F***ed up on it,because Paramount took over and made it too Hollywood. I bet it would have been super cool if they would have done it the way they wanted to do it. I would love to spend a day at your house and check out all your cool U2 things!!!! Maybe I read the story wrong about who got out of the car,I'll re-read it and see. Funny either way huh!!I don't know you Kat,but it is trulysad what happened to you!!! We were robbed when we lived in France in our own garage. Four men came in to our garage and accosted my husband and daughter, who was coming back from a school dance, and stole the car and everything else. They pushed my husband down and luckily didn't do anything to my daughter. It is such an awful experience to be attacked. I do hope you are ok though. Sad also about the tickets. Keep us posted if you are able to go, so we can feel happy for you again. You guys have to go to this other website called atu2.com and click on the news part. There is a good review of the concert over there and they talk about how Cold Play should eat their hearts out since they could never be like them. I love Cold paly also, but Old Chris should stop talking about how he is going to knock U2 off the block and become the biggest band ever. Very unbecoming of him. The MOJO mag gave them a luke warm review and said that they are baffled by his lyrics. My husband was telling me that when he was in London a month ago, that they were really raking him over and in general, his own people don't really like him that much. How sad.

Hey Fanny, I forgot to say hi and also agree that poor Larry looks ever so skinny on the cover!!!

Oh nooooo you guys, I just read on that other site that I mentioned, that Bono is having troubles with his back. They were waiting to do and interview with him and he was being attended by some German doctors. They said they had to give him 23 injections to get him on his feet.:( I was wondering how he was holding up. He doesn't seem like a work out kind of guy,so I was hoping he wouldn't over due and get injured. Hope he is ok.

hi! yes he's an angel Liz=) the episode with the robbers must have been horrible! I know sort of what it's like, but this must have been even worse! a couple of years ago we were in Spain, and in the middle of the night I woke up by a man standing in our bedroom, and this was the first night we were there so all I wanted to do was to go home! hugs...
From: fanny on 2005-06-16 21:13:36
sorry I wrote wrong Liz. what I meant was that the experience you had must have been worse! good they didn't touch your daughter!hugs...

Hey there, I had a devil of a time finding this picture again!! There were so many other commented photos, that it left the screen :( Yes, it was a very scary thing. Our house had 4stories the bottom being the garage. I was on the third story in my room and did not hear a thing. It wasn't until I heard my daughter came running up stairs in hystaria that I knew anything happened. My husband came up and said thay had been robbed. I thought they were robbed on the Champs de Elysse, where the dance was, but it took a min. to sink in that it happened downstairs and the car was robbed. After we got over the shock, we called our French neighbor at 2:00 in the morning and with her assistance called the police. This all took place while we had family visiting from the States also!!! In August they found the car . In the States you really don't want your car back when they find it ,since they usually strip it down to nothing. We got the car back in perfect condition with my husbands jacket neatly folded in the back seat and the car had been filled up with gas!!! The cops thought that they had taken it on a possible drug run to Spain, since the kilometers matched. Again, I'm so happy that they just took the car and didn't hurt anyone.Ok guys, try and keep this photo on the screen, since it was not fun to go back. Now that I read that our poor baby is injured, I hope he didn't do it while flying in this photo. I also hope he makes it back here in good shape. I think my back would go out if I tried this move!!!

I'm trying to keep this photo on top. hahaha. Look at Bono's arm and hand on the right side!! Where is his hand? Are we sure we want to keep this phot as THE one?
From: u2_sushi on 2005-06-18 03:13:40
hey fanny and oct zup all!! YES OCT OF COURSE THIS SHOULD BE THE ONE FOR A BILLION ZILLION COMMENTS btw his hand is stuck inside his really long jacket arm!! =DI was so worried about the Bman's back in the article....grrrr, poor man stop hurting youself!! Wow you guys are so lucky to be robbed in such a cool place in such a cool way!! We've gotten robbed billions of times, the most recent last month when someone stole a VCR and a couple of CD players from our van (the total worth of the stolen stuff was about $50... LAME!!) and the one we always talk about is my grandpa got his car broken into back inthe 90s and someone got into his briefcase thinking there was fancy schmansy stuff in their but it was just a bunch of old clothes... haha!!

Probably its not the first and not the last time he had to have this...poor baby...*givesbonoabighugtoo*And bout Cold Play....saw the video yesterday and freaked out completely...do they use the same stage and background as our boys do on their European tour??? yeah drive me crazy. and those magazine guys (suprise, suprise they have did it again!) they're all like 'Chris Martin sounds like Bono on the war album' 'are they going to take over the place of U2 as the most populiar band in the world' come on guys, NOONE beats bono's lyrics and NOONE beats larry's drummersound, and you are pretty stupid if you think you can play guitar as fast and good as the edge?hello?!NOONE can beat adams groovy bass either! I don't have something against coldplay (ecept<(spell?) their new musicvideo!) but please leave U2 alone, their staing at the top if you want it or not, do you think they are going to loose fans? NOPE! hugs to all of ya!
From: u2_sushi on 2005-06-19 00:55:30
OMG fanny I was so mad at Coldplay too I absolutely hate them now that I heard Chris Martin say out loud that he wants to dethrone U2 as the biggest band in the world and OMG HIS VOICE SUCKS OKAY IT SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE BONO'S DOES OR EVER DID and about the stage thing I watched the Speed of Sound or wutever video and I HAD A FRIGGING HISSY FIT I WAS SCREAMING MY GUTS OUT I HATE COLDPLAY I HATE COLDPLAY it's nice for them to have high hopes BUT TO SAY THEY WANT TO AND ARE CONFIDENT THAT THEY WILL DETHRONE U2 AS THE HOTTEST BAND ON EARTH THAT'S JUST BULLSH--!!!!!!!!!
From: u2_sushi on 2005-06-19 06:11:43
I was thinking on an interesting subject the other day as I compared COBL from the album to the COBL video. When you watch a video like the COBL one, where it's not playing from a vocal track and Bono's not lip-synching, you notice how Bono is very much a human instead of a machine, because you can hear the mishaps in his voice. On the album he honestly sounds as perfect as perfect can be. So do Edge, Larry and Adam. But at a concert, Bono will lose his voice for a word. Edge will skip a chord. Larry looks tired. Adam actually moves around and smiles.I'm pretty sure robots don't lose their voices, skip chords, look tired or smile. Most robots don't move around unless they're really special. And I really like that feeling of real, honest human-ness in a band that is really more like gods. I like it when Bono loses his voice. I like it when Edge skips a chord. I like it when Larry looks tired. Well... no I don't. But I do like it when Adam smiles and moves onto the ellipse. Because it reminds me that they really, honestly, truly are humans.

ahh.. Its a long story Boomie doll.. but its written somewhere, lol. I'm on the mend though, and still have my killer instinct, so if i ever find the guy.. grr, lol. Chris Martin is an great guy, but he don't half talk out of his arse sometimes, the silly beggar. He need to just stick to making trade fair, and being a good musician, and stop trying to be something he's not. U2 are U2, Coldplay are Coldplay, and unfortunately, the media, being the media, probably twisted what he said, when he was prolly just trying to be funny. Yeah, there you go! *punches the air*
From: fanny on 2005-06-19 16:46:46
I bet it was Chris Martin saying U2 sucks on another picture on this forum here=)hehe...you go kat! just tell that jerk just the way it is!! the probably worst thing you can do to a U2 fan is to leave them empty handed! it's like taking their happiness away, atleast that was the way I felt it when I was empty handed...11 days to I'm going on a "musical journey" to London. haven't got Live aid tickets yet, but I'm happy anyway=)hugs...

Hey there, been very busy since every celebration falls in June in our family. Today is hubby's b-day so I'll be brief on my take on old cold play. Thier video through me off too!! I said hey did U2 lend them the back drop out of pity? I do like them but Ithink old Chris Martin needs to cut it out. We just bought the new CD or rather it was given as a gift to my hubby, and one track sounds like Edge's guitar(but not as good) and one song really just sounds like U2 all the way. It might be all the media saying that and it has influenced my listening, but I don't think so. In the MOJO mag, Chris said all those things, so who knows. He hasn't said that he hasn't said any of it either. They just need to be happy and if they make it big great if not, I agree....leave the guys (U2) alone. I'm sure Bono and gang are just chuckling over all of it anyway. Out of all the things I read on our pals, they never went about their music like that and that is why they are where they are today. Sushi, just a note on the robberies, it wasn't very fun to get robbed in France when you can't communticate with the police and you don't know how to call all the credit card people in French etc..... I'm sure youwere just were kidding though....but I thought I'd give you another perspective :) Also sushi thanks for clarifying Bono's arm/hand in that photo. It was really bugging me. I also loved your take on Cold Play, since I totally agree. Hi to Fanny out there :) Anybody heard anything on our man in pain yet? Maybe this isn't the first time . There is a funny thing in the new book I read where Bono says when he gets out of bed in the morning he tends to shuffel like an old man. His daughters always like to point it out to him and they tell him that he looks like Ozzy. SO, Bono said he then likes to imitate him and tell them all to F....off. but he said you can only swear at your kids if it is with Ozzy's voice. Then he tried to back peddle and say that he doesn't really swear at his kids....heeheehee on that note gotta run.
From: u2_sushi on 2005-06-21 02:22:27
How cool would it be to have a rock star for a dad who wakes up and looks like Ozzy then tells you to f--- off in Ozzy's voice!!!!!!!! COOLEST-DAD-EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fanny I think you and I should adopt Bono as our dad!! O ya!!!! Course I was just kiddin Oct... heehee =D I will say no more about Coldplay. I have completely banished them from my lives, excepting when I really feel like yelling and screaming and being a big fat jerk then I'll watch Speed of Sound and scream myself hoarse...Nothing about poor Bman's back.... nooooooooooo.... No prob about the hand thing, Oct... it's so funny how Bono always wears his sleeves really really long so they fall over his hands... so HOT!!
From: Octu2 on 2005-06-21 18:28:12
Only the B-man could make long sleeves covering his hands look cute. The rest of us,would be looked at like we should maybe go to the tailors and have our clothing fitted more properly. As a fashion person though, I would love to see him once with perfectly fitted clothing. Perhaps a beautiful suit, that fit properly. But then again it wouldn't be him. Like I said before, he could wear a paper sack and still make it work. I also think back to the with or without you video and that leather vest sans shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ya....Hey Soulie I was looking back on the other earlier posts and you mentioned that your B-day was June 12th. Happy birthday!!! Like I said on an earlier post, everyone in my family has a birthday in June!! Mom,Husband daughter, niece and our anniversary. Last weekend was party city here with our anniversary on the 18th then father's day, then hubby's birthday on the 20th. Hope you had a happy birthday. You must be a lot of fun, since you are a Gemini. I'm not into all that kind of stuff, but it seems like I always get along the best with them. This poor photo keeps getting lost and this is the second time I had to hunt for it to bring it back. Should we not do this and just do random ones? Doesn't matter to me,but last ime it was kinda fun with the pixely one. We had some fun comments on our men and each other I think. Well, I hope the guys are all rested for their weekend in their hometown. Does anyone know when they are going to put the City of Blinding lights on MTV or Vh1? I have tried to look it up and have not had luck. I hope they don't wait until fall, when they are coming back :( I NEED to see it NOW.

Lucky for me I'm not a big fan of the summer, or I'd be jealous of all these June bdays!! I'm a child of the dark, lol, my uncles bday is the 1st Nov, my cousins is the 5th, my moms is the 6th, and mine is the 7th.. so November is expensive! AAhh, U2 back home, just next door, thats where I like em, lol. CoBL is on both here already as far as I know, but I dunno about anywhere else, sorry Oct

Hi all... sorry I haven't been on much!! Oct I just got out of school yesterday, how cool is that!! Yay... summer.... We go back sometime around September 2-6. Two years ago we went back on the 6th but this year we went back on the 2nd... weird. I just hope the weather clears up, cuz it's been rainy and cloudy and thundery and lightningy (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! WE HAD A LIGHTNING STORM IN JUNE!!!!!) the last couple days. Yesterday it was nice enough to go innertubing and swimming so me and a bunch of friends did... the water was actually really warm!! =DI don't have cable or nuthin like that so I have no idea wut the deal is with CoBL... No one cried at my school cuz we're a bunch of heartless jerks who hate our teachers, LOL!! Fanny ur starting high school!! Didn't you say you were 13? I dunno how it is over in Norway but over here we start HS when we turn 14 or 15 cuz our junior high (or middle school, wutever) is three grades instead of two. Well the boys just seem to get sexier and sexier and seem like they're having so much goshdarned fun!! Soulie when they come back to the States we need to really give 'em what the Europeans have given 'em!! WE NEED TO SHOW THEM WE LOOOOOOOOOOOVVVEE THEEEMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! Haha, Kat I'm a child of the darkness, too!! My bday's on Dec 7 (Pearl Harbor Day... ironic) and then Christmas is a couple weeks later, and we always do this Secret Santa thing where we give some random person presents (like that song, the Twelve Days of Christmas with the partridge in a pear tree, except we don't really give them partridges and pear trees =D) and then my dad's birthday is Jan 14 and my bros is Jan 21... so the last and first months are supa 'spensive for us!!I have exciting news!! I just remembered that I'm 99% Irish!! GUESS WHO ELSE IS IRISH!!!!!!!!!!! =DDDDDDDDD
From: fanny on 2005-06-24 00:46:53

I was amazed with the way the schools were in Europe when we lived there. Everytime I would tell my neighbor about going to college. she would laugh and say that in France college is middle school. Over there you have to say you went to University. I can't remember what they call High school. In the UK and Ireland,it gets more complicated. In Ireland they go to highschool til grade twelve, but if you don't want to attend University right away you can go a 13th year. Then University is free, but you have to make the grade big time!!! Bono attended university for two weeks, before he was let go. He didn't pass "Irish" and had to go one more year in high school. They all have to pass the national language. I know all of this since my daughter's boyfriend was from Ireland. I was so confused when he explained it to us,but finally got it. England has all the exams and A and O levels. That is why my girls could not go to the British school in France. It was totally a different system, and would have messed up their schooling here. Hey Soulie, I thought our shows were good also and I still can't believe stupid Chicago. Every review I have read from Europe though is glowing. We gave them more crap over here. Also, I'm sure your evil twin is a heck of a lot of fun!! I'm serious, every gemini that I have been involved with is very very fun. I'm an October 4th baby(Larry's son was born on my birthday) . Libras and Geminis are suppose to be a perfect match in marriage. My husband is a Gemini and we have been married now happily for 22 years. you are right about MTV. If you don't have MTVhits, then it is all reality shows. Stupid ones also. VH1 only plays the top 20 and so far I haven't seen COBL :( I bet they put it on when they return for the fall. It was released as a single in the UK,but I also haven't heard it here on the radio. I remember when I was living in France, the single Electrical Storm was released over there first. I kept e-mailing my sister to tell her about it and she said it wasn't on in the States. So, maybe we will see it a bit later, let us hope.
From: Kat on 2005-06-24 20:31:42
Yeah, they're not called O levels anymore, they're GCSEs instead. You go to high school after year 6.. If you don't want to go to uni, you can leave school after year 11, but to go to uni you have to stay on til the end of year 13, and only some uni's are free, it depends where you go.. thats why we students don't have a chance, bloody debts, lol.. its pretty straight forward really, lol

Speaking of Electric Storm ...Fanny have you seen this video of Larry? Although i personally would have given a years paycheck to have had Bono in the role with Selma Hyeck as the mermaid!! *kitty blows chunks* poooft yeah right !! the mermaid would be meeee of course ;)~ ....anyway fanny if you haven't had the eyepopper yet you need to make it a priority.... *waves*I do believe your Larry's girl now right?.... I have the DVD and interview but not sure where you can download it to see it? Anybody out there?..... I thought he was very cool and had a real presents on camera.... yeppa!Hey you guys that school discussion was very informative...when I was a kid we went to kindergarden where we slept all day and ate cookies to 1st then 2end grade in one primary school then off we trotted to another school for 3erd to 6th grade which was also called elementary school but with meaner teachers then off to junior-high school for 7th and 8th grades where the teachers are on power trips then off to high school 9th through 12th ...freshman- sophmore- junior- then senior....whooopeeee! where the teachers basically don't give a sh-- as long as you show up so they can pull a pay check...then to a junior college usually 2 years where the teachers are on mini power trips but basically make a living off selling you there outrageously expensive personally written books that are required reading in the class even if your taking a math class and the book is about gorrillas in the mist.... then on to a four year University where ::: if your parents have mega bucks or you sell your soul to the highest bidder or you are 'supergenius grant statis worthy" or you take out loans that end you up in debtors nightmare paying off for the rest of your natural born days falling through onto your great great grandchildren.... or you win the lottery and in which case who needs a job or education...you can just be a big ol rich dummy and learn how to count using your own moneypile...... :)yeppa brains don't come cheep!!!!! grrrtyping really fast gotta go......see ya gals and guy.. :))

I went to preschool when I was four then kindergarten at 5 yrs that got me into elementary school, which went to 5th grade (I used to live in Utah and there the elementaries go to 6th but when I moved up here elementary went to 5th) now I'm in 6th going on 7th which is middle school (or junior high) then in 9th grade you go to high school for four years, freshmen, sophomore, junior senior. KAT OMG HOW THE FRIGGIN HECK DO YOU GO TO HIGH SCHOOL WHEN UR 11!!!!! Wow.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fanny you must see the ES video you will drool to death!!! O ya me an Fanny have now OFFICIALLY graduated from U2 school and are now official (sp?) u2 babes o YAAAAAAA!!! High friggin fives to Fanny!!

Talking of my Finnish mate, he was telling me yesterday how this guy he knows is pretty much on tour with U2 at the moment, lol. The 1st show he was at was Manchester last week, and in all he's going to 16 consecutive shows.. and he only took one shirt with him.. I wouldn't wanna stand near him, that's for sure :|

Yes I have seen the ES video;-) Larry is sooo hooot! And Bono's voice iis just soo emotional and filled with passion! When he sang " and if the sky can't crack there must be somewhere back to love and only love" and especially <(spell?) "baby don't cry" I started to cry the first time I heard it (Yes I'm very emotional) But over to Larry: OMG he was and still are freakin' hot on that video! I'm not suprised if I'm starting to cry on the concert, yes I'm serious. LOL=) Hope Larry don't just sit and "hide" back on his drums the whole concert...=) Yeah Sushi now we're U2 BABES! *highfives* Hugs to everyone...!

Yah fanny HIGHFIVES!! Wasn't he just.... in the ES video... holy mackerel!! Naw fanny we're all emotional sentimental fools.... =D hun I cried so much at my concert u wouldn't believe it holy cow... cried during CoBL, Beautiful Day, WTSHNN, Miracle Drug, SYCMIOYO, OotS, One, Pride and RTSS... I woulda cried my heart out if they had played WoWY, but they didn't... at first I was glad they didn't but then I realized with a big sick feeling in my stomach that this was a totally absurd thought. I thought that WoWY had no place in such a political concert, but then I thought it over and listened to it again and realized, no matter where, when, why, who or how, With or Without You always has a place in a concert. It always has a place in anyone's heart who has ever listened to it, U2 fan or not. I can't liveI can't liveI can't liveI can't liveWith or without you......
From: Kat on 2005-06-27 08:58:38
man alive, With or Without you is terrible to listen to if you've just had a break up or something.. You feel like you'll never stop crying!! But it still sounds perfect :)

Yes with or with out you can be sad,but holy cow, that video is too hot for words!!!!!! In my sister's words "Sweet Mother of pearl" she always says this when she sees this video. Then says, that is the video that will send me over. Hey Soulie, did they play electrical storm over here very much? They played it a lot in France and I was in heaven. I bought the CD "best of 1990-2000,but the dvd that came with it doesn't work here in the States,so now I have to get another one. I can still listen to the cd at least. I was thinking the other day how lucky you are to have those tickets for the Oakland show. I think I could maybe find some tickets, but my hubby would kill me for spending so much. If by any chance you can't go............send them over my way:) I know ,I know, you have family that would get them first :( BUT, if they can't go can I be in line? I will be thinking of you when they are here in the fall. Amen to all that school stuff. I paid all my loans off,but we are still paying for my husbands masters degree!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like a ball and chain every month to see all that money going away. It is a dilemma here to get an advanced degree. I would love to go back and get my masters, but I think I could put the money to better use,and just do my art on my own,who needs a piece of paper. Sorry Kat it still seems a bit complicated over there in the UK. I should have remembered the whole GCSE thing from watching the good old BBC. In France I felt sorry for the kids there, because they had to pretty much decide what they wanted to do with their life, in high school, and once they started University, they could not change their minds. My neighbor told me that she started out pre-med and changed her mind. She said that it was hell fire after that. She lost a whole year and had to plead to come back with another degree. Who the hell knows what you want to do when you are that young? My son in law said that he thinks the university system here is much better(he is French) and way more flexible. My poor husband would have been kicked out of school ages ago with how many times he switched majors! I switched only once,he switched three times. He would have been a bum on the streets of England or France.

Well, I still don't know what I wanna end up doing! for a while I wanted to be a roadie and music tech.. and obviously I wanted my band to make it big, but thats not gonna happen now, lol.. as long as it's music or art related, I'll do pretty much anything, lol

Ok guys, remember when I said to everyone on here that I wondered if they went to these sites and read what we wrote? Go to atu2.com and hit news. There is a two part interview with Dave Fanning, and in Part one Bono's says,"Do you ever go on u2 sites?" They can be murderous sometimes. Check it out. It would seem that all these sites could be a help to them to see what fans think and hope for them. Interesting huh?

From: Octu2 on 2005-06-28 19:58:28
Credit where credit is due Soulie, sorry I forgot to mention that you did notice that you thought they may have been on here. After reading the interview and remembering what you said earlier,I now believe that they come on here. I bet it is hard for them not to comment. It must be funnyfo them to read some of this. Do you guys know if Bono is playing live in London for live aid or if he is going to be in Vienna? Maybe I shouldn't be lazy and look it up myself ;) Nice to read that they had such a great time in their home town. What Slate said about her experience, seemed to match what the reviews coming out of Ireland are saying. Too bad they didn't film one of those for the DVD. I really hope they didn't do Chicago. Those guys don't deserve it. Still steamed that they did four shows there!!! They only did three in their own home. So, listen up Chicago, you better appreciate them and give something back to them the second go around. Would love it a lot if they did four shows in the San Francisco Bay Area......We love you here guys and wouldn't give you crap reviews. Sorry, I just had to dig into those guys again. I went last week to Saks Fifth Avenue to see the clothing line that Ali and Bono have, and it is pretty cool. My oldest daughter said it really reminded her of Ireland. It has a bohemian/rocker cool look. It said in one San Francisco magazine that when they were playing in San Jose, they had been to S.F. to promote the line and he made an apperance at Saks. Where the hell was I that day!!! Anyway, he also stopped in at Glide Memorial church and sang a few tunes, then went to his favorite bar in North Beach called "Tosca" and then Il Fornio for dinner. That would be cool to see if one of those places has their photos up. Cheesy I know, but it would be fun to see. I'll be happy just knowing that they will be here in November even though I can't go to the show. I know I have been bugging you Soulie about those two books, but I was wondering if you had a chance to get them? It would be fun to dicuss them. My husband is reading the "Killing Bono" one and I hear him chuckling everyonce in awhile. It is a good one. For those of you in the UK I think the book was released in a different name. I believe it was "Bono is my doppelganger" or" I am Bono's doppelganger" not too sure. They didn't think that the title would fly here in the States,so they did the Killing one instead. The other one "Bono" by the French music reporter is good also, and gives such a good account of how he thinks now. Ok,ok I won't bug any more. Just wanted to see if anyone has read them. I'm hoping for my birthday or Christmas to get the coffee table book with Antoin Corjibin photos of them :) I think I have bugged enough people ,so they know I want it. Great combo for me,artistic photos and U2!! can't get any better.Ramble ramble....sorry gotta go. Today is my oldest daughters 20th b-day and I have to go and celebrate.

Oct i believe they have commented from the stage....some of the things they quipped about from the stage on Elevation had connections to things we were talking about on line here....and the topics were so frick'in obscure and over the top that unless they had read us there would have been no way they would have come up with it.....duh! Then again I could be psychotic and delusional ....so there's that too! lol Ok Oct gonna tell ya I've got bootleg of Chicago May 12th and its effing awesome so I don't know what the hell those turd heads were talking about????? Grrrr.Soulie how can u not know they filmed!! You are waaaayy out of it, girl!! jeezers. Ya they filmed Chicago and i'm not happy bout it cuz they did not play Bad at either of those shows (last time i checked) and if they choose to make a DVD out of the show that opened w/ LaPoE, then I will be PISSED BEYOND REASON!!!!!!! @%$&$&*$#$@$$^%@$#@*^#$... well I must get busy on downloading these Smallville shows... all four seasons, whoop de doo. I was talking about my Angel (the vampire show)....but the WB are losers i will never watch that channel again...unless of course they bring back the franchise in a new Spike show !!!! :P~ ....and as for them filming Dublin nope I was in the dark...but i knew they filmed Chicago.... ;) thats why you young'uns are here you gotta help old farts like me to keep up on things..{*kitty adjusts speed of rocking chair to a respective wobble*} ....grrrggle

Hey Sushi, what shows have you been watching in place of Smallville? Our family are big time nerds and have been watching it since it first started in 2000 or 2001,can't remember, but my daughter is in love with Tom Welling so we have to watch it. He sure is a cutie. I think he is like six foot four in real life, that is what you call a tall drink of water :) Anyway, now he is off to college in the new season and we can't wait to see that. Although I'm not sure if I like the girl they have casted as Lois. At first I thought they just added Lana and it was a play on names. But apperantly there was a Lana in the comic version also. Anyway, enjoy how cute they are and when you get to the last season let me know, because there is a favorite one on it that my daughter and I can't stop laughing at.Soulie, you don't even know how sad I was when I found out that Angel was canceled!!! They had it in France ,but it was hard to watched dubbed,so I stopped watching. I would read about it on line and when I found out they were going to cancel it was I was steamed!!! Some of the funniest writting on TV and very very creative. Spike was so cute and so was Angel. I missed the last two seasons being over there, but I think I may catch up on them. I did happen to see the very last one though :( I loved Buffy too but Angel was just too cool. I do remember you saying something about our boys repeating something obscure from this site, do you remember what it was by chance? I think I would do the same if I were them, just to keep us on our toes.Sushi, I forgot to tell you up above that we tried to watch Smallville in France, but it was too hard, since it was dubbed in French. We got a giggle out of the voice they used for him though. And in the opening credits they would always show "Clark" and off to the left it would say "Avec Tom Welling" So our nick name for Tom Welling now is."Avec Tom Welling." I mentioned on another photo if anyone out there is a Napoleon Dynamite fan out there? I loved that movie so much that I bought the stupid thing. Too funny that film. Not to jump around too much, but Soulie I'm mad at the WB for that and also ABC for doing that to a lot of excellent shows. As I read this I think I have had a wee bit too much Peet's Coffee!!!! Sorry Sushi Starbucks doesn't cut it. You may not care but just in case, since they are your local coffee people.Did you read about how Bono was in court on Tuesday to try and get some memorabilia back from a stylist? She took some pants, earrings, and a Stetson. All this stuff was from the Joshua Tree era. The lawyer said that the stuff she took at the time wouldn't have been concidered iconic in the late eighties,Bono Said,"OH no,we had delusions of grandure from the very beginning." funny our man is. I hope he gets it back, because I don't think he or they gave her that stuff, she just took it and now has tried to auction it off. Not cool. If I had it I don't think I would be stupid and auction it off no matter how much I needed the money!!! On that note, with several caffinated cups of coffee I'm on my way for the day :)

It's 5:30 and everybody's left the place the lights are turned low.....THAT was in my opinion 'music-wise' a complete disaster through the eyes of MTV..... what a mess...*holdingwobblyhead*20 years ago MTV and VH1 and ABC carried the concerts but had seperate feeds going ...so if one channel was interviewing the other was catching an act and with three channels I ended up with hardly any broken performances ....U2's was interrupted in 85' but I switched over fast and it was on the other feed so walla got it on film....this time the only two channels on air and both were broadcasting the same feed....nor were they showing hardly any acts only V-jays talking jibberish hardly anything that wasn't memorised and repeated over and over and then all the commercials.....dumb! They could have had more documentaries and forgot the V-Jays they weren't competant at all in my opinion....(I think they picked it better near the end as they figured out why they were there)... ok I'm a blue meanie but it's true!!!...talk about the song "I wanna be a rock'n roll star"....My answer "Well hey your not so step aside and let us see the real ones up on stage please! " They broke off U2's gig...the WHO's....the last song of PINK FLOYDS....jeees why don't they just shoot me..! Velvet Revolver was clipped in two and Slash was kickingbutt..although they came back later and gave us a song.... AudioSlave's was no more than a snippet...@#%%*&^&%$Also if any guitar players out there wanted to see Davd Gilmore play his lovely darling you would have had to been there because the dip sh--s on MTV couldn't keep the camera on him or the band if there lives depended on it !!! Ned to ask Why was the camera flying all over the place like it was tied to a flagellating balloon???? *help me I'm so near exploding*....ok there were some touching and heartbreaking moments ....the piece put together by Ashley Judd in Mozambique talking to the prostitutes and the Aides threat was absolutely gutwrenching and makes me furious to have women in such horrid poverty exsistence no matter where they live. Nothing good is to come out of those mean streets...unless things change big time................and the other very touching presentation was Bob Geldolf when he introduced the young beautiful woman that had survived against all odds. As a small child being showcased in a documentary in very dire straights you just know in your heart she was on her way out like so many before and since...but when she comes out as a survivor ( of which Bob credits to the intervention of aid money) your heart just flips in your chest and you have this little sparkling ray of hope igniting a spark onto that hard core crusty cynacism that lurks in all of us.. it does make you believe that this generation of humanbeings just might possibly have figured out how to get a step-up-on or at least make a (pardon) effing dent on alot of the horrible problems Africa and poor (Central America)(southeast Asian) nations face....I do know COLLECTIVELY people can make a difference (the friggin internet has shown us that)...ok I hope you all went and put your name in the collective barrel .... ;) I still want to kick MTV's ASS though....grrrTo Kat ...thanks for the advice but I hate streaming on my puter it turns out looking like something out of a 50's Sci-Fi movie with people running off screaming "the Martians are coming the Martians are coming" (that would be me running and screaming !)....*kitty leaps out window* lol How did your streaming turn out? .... good I hope... ;))

I watched the whole thing from 9:00am until 5:30 and I totally agree with what you said Soulie!!! Both sucked so bad,and I remember in 1985 it was done much better. I thought I was going to scream everytime they went to those hosts and they kept asking people in the crowd lame questions!!!!! I only saw U2 do the intro with Paul mcartney and then I saw beautiful day. But everything was filmed very badly. We had it on the computer also to see other countries, like Paris and Rome. We got a kick out of the one in Paris because it was in Versailles Palace and had we been still living there it would have been a 10 min. drive to see it!!:( Bono looked so cute from the little I saw of him. Since he was one of the main guys, they could have show cased them a bit more!!!!! I'll go with you Soulie to kill them.

Waves to fanny ...well hun sounds to me like you had a pretty good seat....where you were sitting could you see a big monitor feed from the stage? .... How late did you get to stay ? Tell us who you heard and did it sound good outside the stadium immediate grounds and if you got to see anybody (stars) at least up on a monitor?....thanks....*huggles*Oct I could see when the morning started out I was going to be pissed....going to Philly for Will Smith over U2 was flabbergasting (although his celebrity vid was making a point it could have been done later not cut into U2's performance for Gawds sakes!!!)....also it appeared to me MTV was showcasing all the hip hop artist and no rockers!!!!! MTV absolutely SUCKS $#%$@#*&%$# !!! ok ok I will stop swearing!!....they didn't even have that many documentaries to educate the public which the 85' concert had filmed well in advance.... the first Live Aide was so superior to the production of this one as far as TV coverage I can't even believe it.... 20 years later with more technology! Its baffling!..... Oct if you had stayed in France OMG... *kittys eyes pop* who all did they have in Paris? I think I saw Shikira but who else?..... sounds like European TV had their sh-- together cause KAT 's happy....! :)and Oct yes the little we saw of Bono he was definately adorable and kick'n it !!! *kitty wants more*....hope to gawd they don't wait twenty years to put out the DVD cause we sure don't have much on tape to tied us over til then....never bitched that much about the other one cause I always had the original....even though the original was on BETA and I transferred to VHS..... awwww the old days!!! Grandpa always kept chirping that when he was here .. 'the good ol' days' ...heck I just thought he was an old fart outta touch...hummm ... well here's to ya Grandpa sometimes they really are better!!! grrrr

This is to new comers that if they just read my tirade don't please think I don't get what Live 8 was all about because I do and its magnificent the fight of the GOOD and JUST and Right fight to make lives better in this world.......nothing I say here could ever undermine the purpose of the concerts ok .... I'm just whinning about my doll face and all the regulars here know thats what I do best!!!! grrr

okay...I was looking under the fence for just a little while, but the people I heard on the concert was Elthon John,Dido,Paul Mc Cartney and Robbie Williams...we could hear it all from our hotel room=) I didn't see a single celebrity but I saw A LOT of loooong limousines<(spell?) so me and my friend decided that one of them was U2's:) hehe...hugs...!

Muse were playing in Paris, and some french bands, but I don't know who else.. sounds like you had a great time fanny! I would really have liked to have been there, but you really do get a better view from your sofa, lol
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-05 19:00:06
Soulie, I know what you mean about not wanting to get too mad about not seeing our guys over the real message of what Live 8 was,but I do think they did a bad job with that also!!! When I saw the acts lined up for PHilly, I was a bit depressed becuase I knew that our stupid TV would be there and show all the hip hop rap stuff and not go to all the other countries :( That is why we had the computer running at the same time,so that we could get another view. There seemed to have been some good interviews with Bono on BBC, but do you think our lame TV would show that? NOOOO. Again, given the fact that Bono was kind of heading the thing up with Bob Geldof, don't you think U2 should have been given more air time. Did you notice how when they did highlights of what was shown, they didn't go back to U2 :( Also I thought they were going to sing "One" all I saw was Beautiful day. maybe they changed their minds at the last min,or maybe they sang it and we just didn't get to see it. I too hope they come out with the DVD sooner than later. Maybe they will have some pics of them in some magazines until then. I am just so irritated with stupid MTV,that I too could go on forever on how "in the good old days" when MTV was all about cool videos...but I won't. The band that I really wanted to see sing in Paris was KYO. They are very good and I didn't get to see them. It still was fun to see the old stomping grounds of Versailles though!! I was kind of obcessed with the place, and when we had nothing to do for the day we would take the ten min drive over there and have dinner or just walk in the gardens. There is a restuarant there that makes killer "Tart Tatin" it is an upside down apple tart all carmalized.....yummmy. OK I have to stop, because I am really missing it and I'm getting sad here. I loved how they set it up in front of the palace though and had peopple all down the boulevard. The only cool thing we got to witness first hand when we lived there, as far as events, was the Tour De France. They peddled right by our village out side of Paris and that was fun to see. Then last summer when we were in the south of France we wereahead of them by one day on the route they were taking and you could see all the signs where they were going to be.OK, back to those stupid idiots at mTV. I think I did a good job in going back and forth to try and see all of it and it sucked big time. The only two touching parts were when the young girl came out with Madonna and Ashley Judds trip. I remember in 85 I think I sat on the couch and cried the whole time when they showed the poor Ethiopians. Maybe part of it was the homones, since my daughter was just born two weeks prior. But,all in all, 20 years ago it had more passion in it I must say.
From: Kat on 2005-07-05 19:23:55
They did play One, and it was so beautiful :)
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-06 19:22:58
Now I am super mad!!! We never got to see them sing "ONE" Oh, you don't even know how mad I am right now. I think Soulie and I need to go to the MTV and VH1 studios and fire all of the dorks and take over. As I keep on ranting, U2 should ahve been show cased a bit, and showing then sing "One" would have been fantasic,as the whole Campaign was called "ONE" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh I'm trying to forget about it and hope that we can see it on DVD. I really liked BBC when I watched them in France, they had pretty darn good reporting and a neat take on things. Americans can be so cheesy with what is up and coming and new, so we got all the hip hop crap and celebrety nonsense. Don't want to offend any hip hop lovers, but it is not my thing and to have it non stop on Live 8 was too much for me. Also, when they would ask one of those rap/hip whatever guys something, they would act like they knew the plight of the Africans since they were of that decent. Ya, right. born and raised here, they will never know. They also had nothing intelligent to say and it was very painful to watch. so, Kat count yourself lucky to have the good old BBC!
From: fanny on 2005-07-06 21:55:14
yeah, MTV is shit. I dunno what VH1 is like, cos I haven't seen it before. but what freak me off the most is that they just go like: and here we have one of the world's biggest bands,or maybe the biggest band in the entire universe,(off course!!!) let's see some comercials(<spell?). you know, the are in the same buisness as the magazine guys...*sigh* will they ever learn?

My summer? BORING. I've sat inside and done nothing but play video games and have a whole lot of friggin fun on this site (that wasn't the boring part, though.) The boring part is that the summer had such promise, with the weather and whatnot, but it's turned out to be gray and rainy. =( But I'll live.

My sister was obcessed with him though and had a poster and everything. Now I don't know if she likes him or not. I won't be going to any concerts this summer :( Too much stuff going on. My two daughters are going to see the White Stripes in Berkeley in August though. They are obsessed big time. I like some of their stuff, especially the little tune that is at the begining of the movie Napoleon Dynamite. To all Americans on here, have you seen that movie? I have asked before but no answer. It is on DVD so check it out if you haven't. Soulie, I don't think I could get my sister to go since her little boy is still nursing. I'm still trying to see if she wants to pay outrageous prices to see U2 in November. I was reading that they make it sound like there are no tickets out there but there really are and you have to be a bit persistant to get them. So, if I find a good deal, I may talk her into it. Are you going with friends or family in Nov.? I'll go with you if you need company ,that is if you have an extra ticket.

I just watched over the weekend on MTV Ashton's Punk'd and they had him and his twin brother in an episode! Did you catch it..? oh..Have you seen Team America? oh my gawd it is so damn funny (but a warning it is not for children it has major profanity) I almost bust a gut on that one....crazy guys that do southpark put that little gem together! gaaaauh oh nursing babies don't let mommies leave and go anywhere....not for very long thats for sure!.... *thats wonderful congrats to her* ... ;)) .........grrr

You and my hubby with the Eagles!! I like them, but they kind of bring back not so great memories. My hubby watched the farewell tour on TV and my daughter and I were teasing him the whole time. But seriously I do like them, but not to go to a concert. I still haven't given up yet on going inNovember if I can talk my nursing sister into it. If I can, I'll hold up a sign for you :)I saw Napoleon at the theater, and becuase I am a nerd and like to read the credits, the end bit is too cute, but missed by most of the audience, since they all left before it came on. Even my sister, who rented it,didn't see it at first becuase she turned it off when the credits started rolling. Too bad a lot of people missed one of the cuttest parts. I have the DVD and some of the extras on it are too funny.I will have tocheck out "Team America" I saw clips and it was funny. Is it bad for a 15 year old?
From: Kat on 2005-07-14 22:17:46
Team America is really awesomely funny.. but, hey, Pulp Fiction and Texas Chainsaw Masacre were my favourite movies when I was 13, so I couldn't comment on whats suitable for what age group, lol
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-15 02:48:09
Oct ya know I'm not to sure about the 15.....I would say it would depend on the kind of relationship you share with her..... especially about the birds and the bees*ex.... um also if you watched it together it would depend on how you both feel about profanity when together...comfortable or not comfortable with the eff word and a variety of other colorful expletives....so it would probably be advisabe to watch it first and then decide...;) .... but if you like the crazy guys from South Park and they are certifiable....then you and your hubby might get a kick out of it....Do you remember the Thunderbirds animated puppets? well this is a far cry from that ...(must laugh my butt off for a minute excuse me) teehihiihihi.... hey give hubby thumbs up for Eagles.....luv them and also luv Don Henley's solo work very profound writer gets to the politica matter of things down to the nitty gritty and absolutely dig Joe Walsh's solo work..mean ass guitar...oh yeah slide that baby slide...............Holy Kat-man-do.....Texas Chainsaw Masacre???????? oh Sh-- ! ok the question is which one? They've made so many .....the original or the Mathew Mac Caughnahy <<spell? ...!!!!!! Holy Craptonite those are the worse....lmao......geeezzz louise....at what age?...If I'm gonna get graffic violence I will pick Scare Face out the bag ....Pacino is so over the top and awesome and that show is about as bloody as I like to get... Kat there's a Rob Zombie movie coming out that looks so gross you gotta go see if it comes there..... cristo I forget the name but it looks really effed up...lol ....Kat picture me singing the song from Team America ....over and over..... lol ...can't say it here don't want to spoil it for anybody that hasn't seen the movie.....I'm still singing but now I've got my arm involved in a fisted salute......hahahahhaaa...muahahaha!!!! grrr

From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-16 02:13:45
That would probably be best.... ;)) hey you might find out she's already seen it with her friends!!! ....at 15 I would have preferred to see comedies that were a bit risque with my friends and not with my folks! Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy's stand up shows spring to mind.... lol ...grrr....oh I just watched some Chris Rock stand ups and they are very risque its crazy but pretty darn funny....Robin Wiliams' stand ups are always fabulous....! Soulie, I'm kind of a movie fanatic myself and I have seen Batman. Loved it and think it is the best one so far. I saw War Of the Worlds and loved it. Great sound effects and I did also see Star Wars. I'm not a huge fan,but it was good. My husband loves them, but he isn't a Star Wars geek,so I went with him. I saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory last night and loved it. But I do like Johnny Depp. Soulie did you see Christian Bale, the new Batman,in The Machinest? He lost like 60 lbs for it. It didn't get great reviews but I thought it was pretty good. Not good enough to jeoprodize his health over though.

There have been a lot of times lately where I've listened to a song and it felt like they were actually in the same room as me. In the very beginning of SYCMIOYO it was dead quiet in my room (it was one in the morning) and Bono's voice was so clear and beautiful that it honestly sounded like he was in the room with me... I was so frustrated that I couldn't see him. I went outside today and sat on our rickety balcony railing and just sat there for a bit. The water was incredibly beautiful and I decided to listen to Unchained Melody. So I did. It sounded like.. rather, it felt like Bono was singing from the past... I dunno. It was incredibly, unbelievably beautiful though. And the music sounded like it was echoing off the water from somewhere down the channel. Odd. Great though. Gig Harbor is a disease-ridden place. In the past six years there have been a LOT of cancer cases:Nate & Drew (brothers)Mrs. Hansen (elementary school librarian)Some old lunch lady from the same elementary schoolMr. West (high school principal)Karina Robertson (middle school student)Derrick Nelson (father of a couple of good friends of mine)Seth Brennan (my cousin; he had diabetes)Nate and Drew both died, the two elementary school people lived, my cousin is still alive and the rest of the people have cancer right now. I don't know if they're going to live or not... I have no idea what's going on with Mr. West or Karina, but Derrick doesn't look like he's going to make it... but I won't talk like that. I knew Nate really well but never met Drew.. he was before we moved here.... *sniff* okay.. umm... lemme wipe my eyes for a sec... okay... done talking about that.. *sniff* I dunno why I brought it up.. I'm just terribly bored. =(

Sorry to hear about all those people who are so ill.Isn't it funny how if you haven't heard the boys in a while, and they all of a sudden are on the radio with an older tune, you get so happy. Kind of when you find a five dollar bill in a jacket? Yesterday I was in the city at Nordstoms, waiting for my daughter to try clothing on. They have a huge screen in the junior section behind the check out part where they play videos. Guess what came on? All Because Of You Video!!!! Made my day. haha lol boomie I missed you too... and kat... and oct.. and fanny.. and all of you!! soulie's not special enough for me to ONLY miss her and not anyone else!! =DD lolCamp muahahaha so much fun... first day sucked tho. =( Food: yucky. Duh. Everything else was fun beyond belief... muahaha I have a huge bruise on my arm from archery.. I shot left handed and got a BULLSEYE!!! <=O P.S I'm right handed and for some reason I'm a better shooter left handed... O.oLalala what to say what to say... oh yes about the crumpling... haha funny stuff!! I came back to my cabin after lunch and everyone was talking about pretty freaky stuff... so I went inside and they were talking about even FREAKIER stuff.. so I went to my side (the cabins were longhouses and were split into halves and there was seperate doors to each side) and laid down. but then my friend came in and said "Sushi you get your butt down here I need a picture of Carrie.. oh ya and i need her address!!" then I told her to bug off and go get them herself but she wouldn't leave me alone. I asked her to fill up my waterbottle but she wouldn't without me but I didn't want to get down. So I started talking to Edge and Bono... mostly Edge... =D and my evil friend said she'll take Edge with her if I don't come... and so I screamed, which freaked her out immensely and made her go a way for five and a half seconds. When she came back she said "I promise I won't take Edge but you have GOT to come with me" and, being the stupid dork that I am, actually made a movement to go with her but then she grabbed Edge from the ceiling and crumpled him. That triggered a huge screaming fit from me and I tried to get poor Edge away from her but she just held on... luckily Edge was not ripped. *wooh* then someone came in and asked what all the screaming was about and i told her that Edge was being tortured and she said "What's Edge?" After I explained it to her she became very brave and took Edge away from the evil friend and gave him back to me...Then Bono and me felt sorry for Edge and Bono said that he wanted to be crumpled too so that Edge would feel better.. and so I crumpled Bono up and he said thank you and then hugs went all around... everyone felt better cept me... cause I can't be crumpled!! :,(Yess all the air was good for me... yum yum it's wonderful to smell mud and sap and all manner of yucky stuff in the air... lol j/k It was great!! As for the marshmallows... no I didn't roast them over a fire I put them in a plastic baggy and let them boil in the sun. O.o fun stuff fun stuff...I'm watching Chocolat... great movie... hah Johnny's so hot! OMG speaking of Johnny someone turned sixteen at camp and for her sweet sixteen bday party she got her first kiss... from JOHNNY DEPP!!! Muahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaa it was so funny... they took this life-sized cardboard manakin of a guy in a suit and cut out a picture of Johnny's head when he was SUPER DE DUPER DE YOUNG and put it on the head of the manakin thingy... lol it was soooo funny!

Once again Soulie you have out done me in the film section. I love them all too,but I haven't seen as many I don't think. I love all that Johnny Depp does I must say. He was wonderfun in the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I just saw Wedding Crashes the other day and it was quite funny. I agree with you on the seats Soulie, I will be behind the stage, but off to the side a bit and not directly behind. Do you have good seats, since you got them so early? I figure you can still hear the music and you can sneek peeks at them with the binoculars. I've got tickets for the 8th. Gald to have you and Sushi back, keeps things fun and wacky:) I do think we need a new pic as well. You look for one and designate it for us. I've got visitors and have to leave for the day.

Kat you met JOHNNY DEPP??????? ok get your butt back here and tell us this story??? He may be a little butt but he sure is a cutey and a fine actor!!!! KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!! lol......Oct ....I have seats across the front of the arena in...*kitty goes to look*lower level 106 on the 8th....then on the ninth I'm next to the stage in 125 which is on the right as you look at the stage......I don't expect them to be as good as my last ones but I'm excited... ;) ... grabs my chest cause my hearts gonna jump out and do a jig just thinking on it !! hooty hooty hooot three cheers for binocs.. !! ... So glad you got your tics I know you were upset over the early sale...*hugs Oct*... Say Oct have you seen Phantom of the Opera?????????? I'm trying to be subtle here but PLEEEEEEEEZ DON"T SAY YOU DON"T LIKE IT!!!!! she desperately pleads... haha.....grrrrr
From: Kat on 2005-07-25 17:18:52
He was making a film over here, and a friend really wanted to meet him, so I said I'd wait outside the studio with them.. I didn't talk to him or anything, because, to be honest, I couldn't be arsed, and it was rather surreal, but my friend got their photo taken with him, and his autograph. Not much of a story really, lol
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-25 19:42:43
You lucky dog with the seating you have... I agree, they may not be as strong and a bit tired, but I have to see them again!!! Lets see Phantom.....I didn't see the film, but I did go to the play in San Francisco a while back, and it was super cool. I loved it when the chandelier went swinging over the audience. Is it a lot of singing or more theatrical? I may give it a shot, but I notice that at the good old blockbuster, they are all sitting there and not being taken home for viewing. So, you can change my mind if you give me some details. I just can't imagine it in movie format after seeing the play live.Maybe if you have your high powered binoculars you can see little old me up in section 226 row 15 :( I hesitated and missed the 11th row, like that would help any. But hey better than nothing I guess.
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-26 01:24:59
KaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaT.......are you telling me you were with a friend at their urging to meet him and then when you actually lucked out and got to HIM you staid back in the shadows and your friends did all the shmooozing and you jsut sort of half ass watched?????????? Pray to GAWD tell me it isn't true!!!!!!!!!!....ok listen you know in years to come when you tell this story ((which I highly advise against ever repeating) say hell yeah I met him and i snogged the hell out of him too...... then look around and women will be picking themselves up off the ground adoring you....hahahaha.... This story you just told is for the birds!!!!! kitty shaking head but still lmao...... grrrr
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-26 03:31:29
Waves through my binoc's at you Oct....your seats are not bad you'll get some nice behind views and Larry's too... :)AHHHHHHHH....I went to see the Phantom at the Orpheum too!!!! How funny is that?... I really liked it but beings I'm a huge Gerry Butler (my puppies namesake) fan (since DRACULA) I was waiting forever for this movie and i was NOT disappointed....it is all musical (of which I love) and i dig Gerry's baratone rock'n roll voice (own Michael Crawfords original and I luv Gerry's more) I'll tell you not being able to see it on a big screen is a disadvantage because it is so opulent and gorgeous and sensual you will not get the same feel....I'm totally into the Phantom cult but more into Gerry (blows kisses to Bono) cause I own all his movies....he's in the gossips for being up for next Bond (fingers crossed after my darling Pierce said no) I'm reading Cassino Royal right now..hihihi...Don't think about the vids on the shelf...... alot of people do not like quasi semi or full out opera so they will not rent it...and I can tell you most of the people like me that loved it have already purchased it..(kitty wearing happy face) ...at the time it came out Amazon ranked it as high pre order and high seller same with the CD (which I'm addicted to)....but anyway Dear Franky is out and it has gotten critical acclaim too from all the film festivals etc.. little independent film...a keeper though and gerry is yumyum....if you look him up his real name is Gerard Butler...and his unofficial official website is www.GB.net ...we are almost 9000 strong and the site is huge...but if your into down loading go to mutimedia and have a blast...he visits the site and he also meets fans and snogs....oh yes he does and he isn't picky about looks age etc he's a sweety pie......he's single and he gives it away.... grrrr......ok do you think I sold it yet? i could go on and on and on but Bono just entered my peripheral and he's calling me back......grrrrrrlol
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-26 03:36:45
Oh yes he has the most amazing speaking voice ....he's a Scotsman and wow drooling on myself...... I obviously have a thing for men with deep gruff Gaelic accents....gaaaaa

bumpity bump bump? Oh yeah I remember you weren't here... sorry..well we decided that this pic is too overloaded with comments and are trying to choose a new one. Soulie likes the one with the funny story I wrote (yes yes thank you ;)) Boomie and I like the one of Adam with a big pen in his mouth and Oct likes the one of Bono where he is screaming directly into the camera. <=| We need some help deciding. =D
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-07-29 07:50:38
Its sort of hard to let go huh Sushi...stares up at BONO...... Oct you never did tell me if you say Phantom...hihihi....Do you realise this photo has had 957 hits!!!! *mouth falls open*.....I tried backing up a ways and it goes on forever..... are we blabbermouths? ok ok don't answer that! lol...grrr Sushi I told ya my pick and I'm sticking to it....;) grrrr
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-29 18:42:02
Soulie, I haven't yet seen Phantom. Perhaps if I can talk the rest of the family into it we might rent it. I'm real confused which pic everyone wants :( Had to stop typing for a sec...........City Of Blinding Lights video just came on!!!!!!Does anyone know where that photo of him screaming super close up is? I spent a bit of time looking for it and can't seem to locate it. I think we should try and get them lined up on here and then pic some how. The one of Adam is a bit grainy, and I don't know wich one Soulie likes? HELP?
From: sushi go soulie on 2005-07-29 18:46:59
umm... 957? Comments? Umm... soulie methinks you need to get your eyes checked and look again... cause this only has 164... O.o
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-29 19:10:44
Sushi, soulie means hits not comments. Look off to the right of the picture and you can see it has 975 views next to it. I think people see that it has a million comments and want to see why, when they do the probably don't read all our ramblings :)
From: Fanny on 2005-07-29 19:13:52
hehe...I agree with you oct,I don't think they read it=) maybe they don't understand a thing of what we are talking about?hehe, who knows=)hugs...
From: Octu2 on 2005-07-30 19:39:58
For old time sake I will keep this one going, until there is a decision. I don't think that has happened with some of us?
From: sushi on 2005-07-30 23:49:03
aha... I see.=(once again sushi has embarrassed herself out of her own ignorance... =[so she will keep her mouth shut..cause most of the time she has no idea what people are talking about!! :,(but I get it. Yes. I get it. After you explained it to me. =P lol... I suppose my mind was on *other* things... muahahah...
From: Octu2/Waht do you think about this one Soulie? versus the tiny version? on 2005-07-31 21:35:56
