Gosh Matt that place and stage are huge.... What kind of camera did you use? how close did you end up getting to the stage? You can kind of see in some of the photos that appeared you were pretty close...but sometimes its deceiving... anyway what did you think in the big venue? BTW how many people does that lace hold?.... Thanks for the great photos... grrrr

I think we were around 5 meters from the main stage. We moved to the B-stages if something happend over there. The venue holds around 60000-70000 people and was filled except a few empty places.I used a older Sony 5mpix model for all U2 photos. All pre-U2 concert image (like this one and oopening acts) are taken with a Casio Exilim pro 700.

By the way, what you see here is the loo queue!

So they had two stages set up? How did this work ? Who opened for them ? I don't see another stage from photos.... Was there a ramp of any kind?

I mean the catwalks they use here. They are a little different from the US version. The 2 catwalks here are not closed but have a platform at the end. The Thrills and Feeder opened the show.

wow they are pretty amazing! esp. the Vertigo clip. we didnt see it like that from the side....and the other thing is...that my eyes were only on THE EDGE ...as you might know. cant believe im right back there where i ended 4years ago. isnt that sad.and the other one....we were sitting in the 0 from 04. but i think we were more left than those who are already there.

Boomie I know what you mean about being zeroed in on (fill in name here) cause thats the way it was for me too....I really don't don't knoew what the hell happened in my shows I only saw ONE THING!!!!! hihhiihi.... They waste all there techno manpower on me cause lets face it Bono could stand in front of me and sing the phone book and I would be like "ooooooOOOOoooOOO isn't he awesome"...heehee......Ok I've got it bad so is that so wrong????? hahaha grrrrr.....Boomie and I see Tanja's here gotta go see what she says about the show... ;))....
