is eddie vedder following the band all over north america or what? by the way...he doesn't seemed to have aged over the past 10 years....and anyway, whats happened to Pearl Jam, in euroland at least the they seem to have flown off the radar over the past few years....haven't heard / seen much of them at-all.

I am so fucking jealous of the people who experience what happens in the beginning of the third leg... you cant imagine... enjoy it people.. enjoy eddie, discotheque, walk on, FAST CARS, the first time, bad and every surprise which is still to come... I really have to think about a trip to NY, dont know if I could forgive myself if I wont go there.

don't hold back about how you feel there tanja! where you from ? did you at least get fAST cARs on the album ? i think its a great trak....i just can't understand why they left it out for the North american market....other than to encourage €uro imports..but that doesn't sound plausible....qui peut dire?

well I have the Jacknife Lee remix of fast cars(from SYCMIOYO single) from the internet, and I LOVE IT!!!!only bad thing is when my mum was doing laundry behind me, the song played, and I have this mirror thing on the pc.. and I saw her looking up when bono sang the pornography thingy... ghehe

zk, I am from germany. and yes, I have the superduperdeluxe-version of the album with fast cars on it ;) thats why I am so sad that they didnt played it in europe, cause I love this song... dont like the jacknife lee remix very much, I think the original is much better. but it may depend on which version you heard first...

WHOAH tanja how did you get the full album???? I looked in holland and in france, but there's only the 11 songs.. I thought onlyh the UK had 12 songs....

mmh, Ingrid I think its the Box set wich has this songs in it. DOnt have it but downloaded it somewhere...they are great.....AND THEY PLAYED DISCOTHEQUE bäääääääh, cries out loud!

ingrid, boomie is right, it was in the so-called "deluxe edition", with the 12-songs-cd and 1 dvd with infos about making the album (recorded in the HQ-studio in dublin) and some tracks (absolutely marvellous and funny version of vertigo, SYCMIOYO acoustic and full band, crumbs...) it also included a booklet with drawings and some lyrics (but not the song-lyrics). unfortunately it didnt contain the song lyrics... soulie hun, where have you been??? you time will come soon, dont worry...

Ingrid, germany had the deluxe edition as well... we were very lucky!! but I fear they are sold out because they were limited. I havent seen them in the stores later than in the beginning of the release... :(

Tanja, hello hun!! Glad to hear that you're feeling better again. Yeah, I'm feeling better as well. But occasionally, when I listen to the recordings, I'm overcome with so much emotion I could cry... like today, on the train, when I listened to the Rome show. *sigh* I sat there, listening to City Of Blinding Lights, and had tears in my eyes because it was soooooo beautiful!!! But it's not a bad feeling, it's a sweet sadness... nostalgia... I'm just still so happy and thankful I've been there! :-)Matt and I thought about NY, too (the October shows), but decided against it. Now we're going to see Robbie Williams instead. ;-) I know it's not a substitute, but we're really excited about going there. :-))

Hey sorry to hear about your Billy Idol concert being cancelled, that sucks. You know Ingrid, where ever you go in Rome is cool. They have so much history that it is lying in the roads. I was so shocked to see all these pieces of ruins from god knows when just off to the side of the road. Get a good guide book "The DK " books are good and gives you a good over view. Do you know which ones I mean? They are translated into all launguages and have great photos and information. I loved going to all the countries in Europe and seeing everyone(tourists) carrying one in a different language.

Get the guide book and you can decide from reading it where you would want to go and have a map as well. Seems like your age group doesn't do this enough and then you miss out. I had two French girls here this summer. One was your age and she had never been to San Francisco,but didn't have a clue where she was since she didn't do any homework on the area. It really helps you get your berings. That way when you are there you will be more familiar. Try it.
