Ok here is one "LOOSE" my shirt is Loose and it fell off so everyone had big eyes "OO" so the other one would be the correct one for something that is lost. I lost my dog "O" one of the O's is missing so it is lost and if you were nice to your dog you wouldn't "Lose" him again.

This is how I use to study when I was in University. Once I had to memorize 100 words and the definition. I was absent on the day the list was given.The teacher said I didn't have to do it,but an hour before the class, my friend had the list so I studied that way and told the teacher that I would like to give it a try. I got everyone of them correct!! I also studied Chemistry like that.

Well, I think that is normal. You should have seen me in France. I speak spanish also and most of my French comes off with a spanish accent. So The French would look at me like what the hell is your problem.You would say "I'm a bit wary to "speak" in English. Also when you say I want to Watch that book, it is instead I want to "look" at that book. Other than that you guys are great. I'm only good with the romance languages and couldn't speak Finnish or Norwegian (SP?) for that matter. So, keep up the practice, you dooing real well.

Yes, I have heard people saying it is the hardest language in world, but I think those languages who have totally different kind of letters like us even harder... Like Chinese, Arabic and so on...And Oct, I'm studuing world histrory as my main subject; As my secondary subjects I'm studyinf Finland's history, political history, politics, economics, development country studies and.. Errr, there they were (I'm basically studying tooo much, that's why I'm always so tired).

Yes Fanny, every Finn has to study Swedish, it's our second native language. And I understand norwegian a bit because of that... But only written Norwegian..

Yes Mariëtte, Oct is from US... And wow, you know also quite many languages... I have studied German too like seven years, and when I started studying I started to study French and this year Spanish... French is a veeery hard language...

I would like to learn some Spanish to, but I'm too busy.Btw, I think French is easier then German though. But maybe because I just don't like the German language (sorry, I don't want to hurt anybody with this!!) French is a beautiful language

...Yes, it's a beutiful language (French), I just can't pronounce it and never understand speaken French... So that's why I like German more, it's not impossible for a glumsy Finn to pronounce! :)

You mustn't blame Larry so much for smiling rarely, because I recgonize it, when I'm playing my drums too, you're very concentrated and most people who are concentrated don't have faces with big smiles on it! And btw most drummers who are playing the drums have strange looks on their face

Oj Mariëtte, we're just joking around... I can't play any instrument, but I believe without no doubt that playing drums demands concentration.... But it's just so funny to talk about Larry's way "Hell no I'm gonna smile" kind of style... And as much as I get a heart attack everytime when I do see him smiling, I still wouldn't want him any other way.. Smiling or not, he's still our Larry the Cherry, an essential part of the world's greatest band.

Dutch.. the only thing I know in Dutch is Hagelschlagen (I'm throwing a party for myself if I spelled that right ^^) and Amsterdam.. but in German I know a bit more.. Rathaus, Ausfahrt, Munchen (pronounced MEUIN-CHIN *dies laughing*), Schloss, Neuschwanstein (been inside it WOOHOO!), Hohenschwangau, Schwansee, Fussen, Stuttgart, and all the other incredibly named places I went ^^

mornin' there mariette^^well I like only dark chocolate... milk chocolate makes me want to vomit... prolly allergic for it or so.. but mostly when you say holland, first thing to come up in foreighn minds is A. when it's a guy, weed and the red light district(yes, even our man Bono recalled that in the early days!)B. tulips, windmills and girls wearing LAME old clothes(wth is klederdracht in het engels... :S) oh and I wonder, have any of you foreighners ever tried Licorish(drop) I think it's gross, most of the foreighners agree with that! also Vla and Kroketten(croquettes) and frikadellen are quite famous.. I remember an article in the Hitkrant a few years ago, they made a panel of 5 exchange students from all over the world, they got to taste alll dutch stuff... they hated the licorish, loved the vla with hagelslag in it^^

I stayed in Amsterdam and never went to the Red Light district,nor smoked any weed :) I liked Amsterdam and the architecture,but don't get amd at me guys, the Food was not my favorite, especially breakfast food. BUT I would love to know more about the specialties of the Dutch since I didn't stay long there. I also don't care for Cheese,so I noticed a lot of the stuff there for everything. I did see Anne Franke house.I mainly went up there to see the beautiful Art though!! I did go to the Tulip park. At first I was not looking forward to going since I thought it was a bit old lady sounding until I got there and saw what I saw!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a little slice of heaven on earth!I don't know how to spell the Dutch ord so here goes...Keukenhoff gardens? Please fix the spelling for me since I know it is wrong. Anyway that is something to behold. But I loved going to Haarlem and going to the museum there. I think I wrote in another post that I loved Delft also.....and I really hate licorice so I would be one of those foreign people that don't like it.
