I meant I wish I could have shared the experience with the other 25,000 people in attendance. Apparently the local NPR called me the 'With or Without You' Girl -- kind of weird. But anyways. Let's see... he smells really really good. I was too embarrassed to do anything but bury my face in his neck. I think I spent the three and a half minutes of the song in an alternate universe. I couldn't decide where to put my hand or whether or not to lift my head but I didn't really care either way because I was having a marvelous, surreal few moments. I never expected that he would actually take my hand and pull me onstage, but I certainly wasn't complaining. I even ended up singing the second half of the song into his shoulder. In between laughs... one of those times when the sum total of my life experience left me completely unprepared for what happened. I was thrilled. And, strangely enough, so was my boyfriend. He reached out and shook Bono's hand to say thank you and Bono said, "No, thank you" and I felt like a million bucks. Is that enough?

Heck yes that is enough, you told your true experience and it was lovely. How fun for you.

Ohhh Catharine!! Too, too wonderful...I wonder what scent he wears??? I'd love to sneak a bottle in my husband's Christmas stocking and be able to close my eyes and.......you girls know what I mean LOL. What a cool experience. oh my Catharine,I'm so happy for you!I have this one picture in my head of the concert,of course I have more than one picture but the strongest one.It was when he walked down the catwalk towards me,and he when he came really close,he just stopped for a moment and sort of viewed the audience like we were art. so many thoughts ran through my head. does he see me now? is he wathcing me? so I reached my hand as high as I could in the air and did the peace sign.that moment was so wonderful,if not the most wonderful ever. but I don't want to ruin it for you Catharine,this is YOUR picture;)
