Ok, 1st yall have to know how difficult it was for me to actually make the show. Had to miss Houston cause of my dads stroke. But I knew we had the Atlanta show. My dad went to the doc Thurs needs open heart surgery asap (week after Thanks). Obviously I am concerned for my father but I was also so bummed that I would miss the show. My husband decided to stay with my dad in case something happened and gave his ticket to a friend and convinced me to go. Also Battle of the Bands had been rescheduled because of Katrina and my sons band was playing. Have to tell you I had a very uneasy feeling going so far away. Once I got there and the show started, words can't express the feelings. Had GA tickets, center stage about 50 people back. I was in heaven:) They looked and sounded awsome. The set list was more that I could have hoped for, the light show, the energy!! I took some pics, but I have to wait for my son to help me post them here. None are real close ups or very clear. It was an out of mind experience. I was left with this feeling of renewal, revival, like nothing is impossible and I have the strength to deal with everything. Thats the best part of their music, the way it can just totally take you to another place. I am still dizzy from it all. Man oh man Bono is just the most gorgeous, sexy man in the world;) Can't say enough. Oh, by the way my son was voted best drummer:)

Lala, I'm sorry to hear about your father, I hope he'll be fine. And I'm glad to hear you had a great show and it gave you some energy to deal with everything... And well it's good to know that they still sound awesome, and aren't showing any signs of tiredness. Hehee, waiting for your pics... Oj and congratulations for your son's success!

I've been waiting for you lala! Wow hun that sounds so stressful about your daddy....been there done that and it takes a toll on everyone's strength...hang in there and we all wish you the best with your papa... ;)Oh gal your concert sounds like heaven....they are the best and Bono IS Mr.Sexy.... woot woot! I haven't been to see the set list yet what really stood out to you? .... I know its to hard to pick because everything is so wonderful.....did you use your binoc's? Doesn't Bono look alot different in person than on TV ....he looks so much more ....*kittygroans* GORGEOUS!!! hehe....gawd I I didn't know your had GA's? Are you tall? I'm scared of GA's because I'm too short and if I didn't get right on the rail I'd be lost in a sea of redwoods..haha...wow I bet the intro into City of Blinding Lights was unbelievable from the floor?....Did you see them last night on 60 minutes with Bradley? Bono was absolutely a doll....very energized full of "I can do anything and I'm bringing who ever wants along for the ride"....maybe thats where your getting it...he put the call out to ya!!! *kitty laughing big hug to lala*.....grrrr

Thanks for the kind words. Wow, what can I say. They played Until the End of the World, Miss Sarajevo and the ultimate BAD!!!! I was sooooo excited. Yes I had binoculars. He is just surreal in person. That is the only way I can describe it. Everything I imagined and dreamed. I was totally blown away. And no I am not tall - maybe 5'1/2":( I knew GA seats would be a challenge, but the excitement of being down there and these two really nice guys propped me up (that was fun in its own way!!!) WHole different story;) Any ways, it still takes me so long to fall asleep cause I keep going back there. What a night, what a man, what a show. Oh yea, my son just turned 17. He's a little cutie too:)

I'm SO sad they ditched miracle drug for the last shows.... it's still my fave song from HTDAAB :(sad to hear from your father lala, hope he gets well soon... hehe congrats for your son tho.. oh and soulie, I'll be there to stand in the middle, so there will be a small circle of leprechauns, and Bono would notice me eh? ^^ I'm 5'8"(yes surprise, guess B's height?)

Ihad a sore throat for a few days too.. and now it's officially bad weather now.. since sunday my spontaneous bleeding noses started... had one sunday morning, and yesterday morning I had one for like half an hour! I nearly got late in school...

You know what caused that....look up at that photo....what color do you see? ........See what I mean!.....your nose is following your eyes...don't give your nose anymore ideas.....mustn't look at photos of Bono in RED it triggers major blow outs in your head!......*that was some kitty advice*........grrrr
