Soulcat, did you see that phot on live journal where Bono is maybe about 8 or so with his mom,dad,and brother? It looks like they had all gon for a swim. Of course he looks so adorable and you can see how much he looks like his dad,and a bit of his mom. I found it through one of the posts on here that I think Ingrid mensioned. Not sure which one.

I saw it too! it was about bono's ears... and DAMN his dad looks exact like him in bono's beautiful day era... that was kinda... shocking... no wonder the lines in sometimes (it is you when I look in the mirror)... Hmmm... I have to say this is my favourite Bono look, as far as the hair is concerned. That Pop hairstyle really got me swooning! I just think that really short hair suits him very well!

Soulie, if it comes down to this over ZOO, I prefer the ZOO. . I like his hair long too,but if he does cut it that short he doesn't look like a freak or anything. I have noticed that they Larry and Bono, both have cut their hair a bit when they started the European tour. I like it long, but not on Larry so much. He looks so cute with his 50's cut. And Adam and The Edge look very cool in their cropped hair. I don't think Ali looked that great with her hair that short. She has such pretty hair that it needs to be showcased in the long version. I love that photo of them in black and white where they are walking together(Joshua Tree era) and she is looking up a certain way. They look so amazing together in that photo.

as a matter of fact, yes I do know ;)the lenses are colored especially for Bono, but the model is Alain Mikli's 3214 - Used during PopMart Tour in different colours (yellow, orange, smoke, red)^^ I have most of his shades in a list in Word on my pc

Hi Ingrid,just wondering if this is correct>i'm pretty sure i read this in the newspaper some time ago>that Bono was told by his doctor that his eyes were sensitive to light(possibly sunlight)and hence the wearing of the shades-please feel free to correct me if im wrong?i've been puzzled by this one for a while?

correct, it was posted in Rolling Stone magazine, the november 3 edition with an airbrushed(grr freckles gone) Bono on the cover.. he said that after all the exposure to lightening and camera's, wich started since ZooTv, his eyes got used to shades.. and if somebody takes a picture of him now without them, he sees the flash for the rest of the day and his right eye swells up.... sounds pretty painful.. oh and it's part egolomania ofcourse ;)
