My husband is of Scottish and Irish decent and he resembles The Edge a bit. Hi soulcat, I'm pleading with you for some info on how you got your tickets to the Oakland show so soon after the San Jose one? I'm planning for next time. I'm going to be optomistic and hope they will be back sooner than later. I just really don't want to end up where I was last Tuesday!! I know for the San Jose one I blew it for silly reasons, and the Oakland one, I had no Idea they were coming back. Please help me!!! i'm begging now.He is the kicker. My husband really wants to se Cold play,so he got tickest early becuase he has an AMEX card. They will be in Oakland in January. We have real good seets. section110 row 6!!!!! If I would have had those for U2 I would have been in heaven!!! NOW i get to see a band that I feel will let me down and I have great seats :( i'm only going because my husband really likes them. I like their new album. But what really scares me is that I saw the European MTV awards and saw them sing. NOT good...so now I'm worried. Oh well. Hey Oct its 3:20 in the morning and I am so wired its not funny. I look like a looney toon with my eyeballs saucered!....I have to read my manuel to DVD recorder....read all the Rolling Stone reviews and critique...read all you guys then post here..hahaha....watch 10 movies I got from my Butler pals then critique....post at my Bond site......watch CNN..... I haven't even read where you had asked me before but it seems like I told it somewhere???? sorry!!! *kitty clunks self upside the head* ..My answer is I get emails.... from u2.....from the ticket outlets....from friends that are nosy and travel like the wind on line....and basically I know they always do two legs cometh my way every tour ;)) ....so when they sell out the first round its always a month a so later they put the others up for sale....if you had been at Matts at the time you would have known about it because I have a big mouth... ;o .... lol ... I will tell you that it's highly unlikely that they will be back before another four years! ...They've never done it so I don't see why the would start now *pout*....I hope I'm full of poopoo and they make me out to be a big ol poopy scooper 'cause......I WANT THEM BACK TOO!!!! I hate those gawd awful dry spells without my baby....grrrrOh I see you had an am ex ...well on the ticket outlet you can get in on a presale with it...but I didn't use it and I didn't use my u2 membership presale either....I printed out maps of the seating and when the ones I wanted came up I snapdragoned them as did my friends working five other puters....we do also have an outlet record store to go stand in line to purchase and we have done that with some on line and some in line and who ever got good tic's we jumped for joy....you really need buddies to pull off some of this crap I do over the years... :)))) any extra's (or really crap seats) and we find other fiendish friends to buy them ....everybodys happy.... but it is still nerve wracking as hell....I get the stomach flu just thinking of it!!!!.....grrroooo cold play!!! Thanks a bunch Soulie for the info on tickets. Ya, I know they won't be back for another four years or so, I'm just going to gather better info for when that time comes. Plus now that I do look at all the sites, I think I will do a better job. My husband says that they sometimes call Cold Play "Hot and Cold Play" but for some reason he wants to see them. Some of the songs he really likes and I figure I dragged him to see U2, twice and went on and on and on forever how wonderful they are,that this is the least I could do.

Just an Update. I made it into the U2 Vertigo Live from Chicago DVD!!!! They have the Hotel/Bono stuff on the 2nd disk "behind the scenes" and I am in it whoooo hooooo part of U2 history. So I got my 2.5 seconds of fame. That's enough for me.

Ingrid Zooropa was *this is just my opinion* really a part of Zoo.. the songs on Zooropa could have fit nicely on Achtung Baby if they had made it a double album...they were very much in that mode when they wrote Zooropa material which I absolutely adore..sing " Lemoooon ".... also just as the Love Town *again this is just my opinion* I feel was part of JT being an an extention of it...I could be utterly wrong too ;)) .....Umm as far as writing there always writing new things which is good.. sort of the point us older u2 farts were making is we have heard them say these very things before and they disappear for four years and were standing around with buggy eyes caughing at the dust in there wake.....Bono has been involved in so many world issues that since around the turn of the century he's been around alot more than in the past... we'll just have to wait and see what there going to do.... *Kitty taping on desk* gosh wouldn't it be great if they did come out with a close follow up album..... ya know I think there going to do something really really wild next go around and just knock us all right on our butts once again.....!
