I do have two passions. U2 and schalke. and now look at him... I really, really nearly fainted when I saw this shirt... it is just unbelievable... and I am still not back to real life... boomie, I told edge that you waited for him outside yesterday to pick him up for driving whereever.. adam and edge gave autographs after the show!!! edge was right in front of me but did not pick my bomb-booklett, he had to go back to the car...tv total was SOOOOO fucking wonderful, you cant imagine... absolutendgeilmegahammerscheissdiewandangeil, unbelievable... they have been so near to us and they were so funny and kind and... everything. my voice is gone now, I cant speak anymore and my whole body is hurting because of jumping all the time... sorry for bubbling nonsense, but I am still in this fever I am in until sunday...

Tanx that you did your best but you know.... wenn er nu net will dann eben net! saw the show and thought....everyone is making fun on the teens when they see the Backstreet Boys..but honestly this crowd was soooooo embarrasing!!!!!!!! they could have talked a lot more if you had stopped screaming! Butttttt if I had been in there I would have embarresed the whole studio cause I would have jumped off my seat right into Edgys arms or at least screamed my lungs out for him! And they didnt catch you on TV, right? But you enjoyed it and thats the Hauptsache!!!!

soulie Schalke is another name for the venue they played at in Gelsenkirchen. it's full name is AufSchalke Stadium. I think.

course Soulie I shouldn't be telling you what it is, since I really have no idea I just heard that somewhere I don't know if it's true... we went to Germany a couple years ago but never passed through or visisted Gelsenkirchen. Or Berlin. We went to Munich, Ulm... and Stuttgart (PORSCHE MUSEUM!!!) and some other smaller more out-in-the-country places... OMG we went to the city/place/county/whatever where Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (castles) are and OMG I SWEAR I WAS FREAKING OUT OF MY PANTS!!!!! Back then I was really into the medieval thing so I was really excited to go see these medieval-esqe castles and WE SAW THE REAL SWAN LAKE MY FRIGGIN GOSH IT WAS AMAZING!!! wow.... haaha! Wow I've gotten really off subject... I can't remember how I got started talking about this!! =D

Hey sushi I went to the very same castle in Germany(Swan)!! so super cool. I was there a year ago. It is so hard to believe that it is where it is,and how beautiful the surrounding area is!! We mostly stayed in the black forrest area and then drove all the way back to Strasbourg France and spent time there ,before flying back home to Paris. Fun times, I'd love to go back there and spend more time. How are you sushi? out of school yet? I thought of you when I was at Target the other day and saw a CD of "War" for only 9.99 You did get one didn't you?

hey oct I'm great so excited for the end of schoool it's out on the 22nd and my C02 car races are on monday... my car is a Porsche 927/20 "Pink Pig" have any of you seen the car? its in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart its the pig, friggin awesome low-ridin' pink racecar witha bunch of dotted lines all over it and the names of the cuts of a pig written in German SO FRIGGIN BLOODY COOL!!!! neways we just got our annuals and I really really honestly did have a fit when a super-red-hot pic of Edge and Bono was in the back!! how cool is it to have a pic of two of the four hottest guys on the earth in your annual!!! I was screaming and freaking out and OMG someone was so nice today they brought me a pic of Bono charming this lil African girl he was dancin with her it was so adorable I'd seen the pic b4 but this guy at school cut it out of a mag and gave it to me how nice is that!!!!!

Butttt if the pics are not there any longer just go to the left klick on "Videothek" than "Videosuche Alle Clips nach Schlagwort und Rubriken " than a new site opens and type at "Begriff eingeben" U2 in than there appear 4 numbers. Just klick on the U2..... and then it has to start. It finally worked for me but as I have the slow modem version only the picture stopped only the talking went on so I couldnt see when Edge gave the cap to the stupid ass Stefan Raab. So, again best of luck for you Kitty.....as I got it you will get it too!!!

Oh and about the question you asked above thats this moderator Slate and Tanja and ,as far as I know, whole Germany hates but hes still on TV and he gets the big boys....

That's interesting, because I always have the impression everybody thinks he's cool except for me... But I thought the show was ok, I expected the worst and then it wasn't as bad. I was sitting there the whole time thinking "Oh no, something really embarrassing is going to happen soon..." and when it was over I was relieved that it wasn't as bad. :-))

Oh what a doll Boomie ...thanks hun ....I used another browser and they both played for me...the video was awesome and the interview was adorable....Edge was so cute and witty and Bono was wonderful..The *cough* balls thing was pretty darn funny...I think the host caught Bono off guard with that but he bounced right back ...hihii.....What Bono said about the german people and the Chancellor was very sweet and sincere... people should take bows for leading the way it inspires others to do the same or at least work towards a goal... very much appreciate you leading us to these Boomie I loved them.. ;))....grrrr

Yeah, it was a bit like in the interview with Charlotte Roche, where she said something about "bust the shit out of the people", and he was like "wow, you can say that on TV?". That was funny, too... :-) But it's true, Bono always knows what to say or even how to rescue an embarrassing moment.

soulie, as I can see, the girls dated you up already :) it was really unbelievable to be so close to the boys... and we made the roof flying away in the studio when they played the two songs... but I think you dont hear it that loud in the tv... anyway, nobody can take this experience away from me, I will have it in my heart until I die... it was just wonderful. this shaking-balls thing was SOOOOOO cute, they were so cute anyway the whole time, and my heart really bumped so fast that I thought I could not leave the studio alive... wow... yes, I met boomie and I was so sorry for her having no ticket :( but edgie took my greatings from her with a pleasuer and I am sure they met somewhere after the show :))

soulie, didnt I write it somewhere else? dont know anymore, but anyway, its worth to write about it twice. to your questions:- there were a little number of tickets available one week before the show, and my personal HERO (a huge fan as well) bought some and sold one to me... I was so lucky, I cant believe that...- bono and larry did not come out of the car to give autographs outside (after the show)... that was a pitty, but I saw Adam and Edge!!! unfortunately I got no sign on my bomb-booklet, but you cant have everything and we had already SO MUCH on this weekend...- after playing blinding lights the band shaked hands with those in the first row, I had a place in the middle so no shake-hands... but they where very nice and happy about us making this noise I think :)- bonos voice and the sound in the studio have been amazing... you dont hear it in the tv-recording cause they cut out our screams and all the noise of the crowd.. and I fear that bit of the instrument sound and bonos voice suffer from that cutting as well... one day before was the gelsenkirchen show, and his voice was soooo marvellous, he brought me to tears, and in the show it was the same. what you heard in the recording was not the real thing.- I met boomie already at the show in gelsenkirchen, I told her where my seats were and there she was... our boomie, live and in colour :)) I fear that I repeat myself, but this weekend was one of the best in my life, and this experience with the four in this little studio was just... breathtaking. I will neverever forget that.

Yes live and in color....lol...very cute....so sweet your story love every word ....darn Bono wish he would have come to see you aftert he show.....but to see him come shake hands in the audience...oh right about then I would have been having a five star heart attack cause when he was on stage in front of me I was sort of having one then too...(heart felt like it was popping out of my chest)....being in studio is really close and was there lots of security people? Could you have walked down an isle to get them? Of course everyone has to be good and can't just crawl or jump over everyone's head to get to them and I suppose standing on your chair jumping up and down screaming at the top of your lungs Bono Bono Bono would be sort of prohibited too... lol.... soulie, this U2-weekend was sometimes way too hard for me anyway and really hardly on the edge, if you know what I mean ;) I really tried hard to get kind of normal afterwards and I think I didnt do a good job with that, I am still nuts. so you can imagine what would have happened if I met Bono personally... I think crawling to the stage would have been a nice show ;)) but of course we did not, there were security of course. and I think we had too much respect to behave like backstreet boys-teenie-fans, even though we were not so far away from that ;)slate, we HAVE to meet in berlin!! and I sooo envy you because of Dublin... wow that must be amazing.

Oh my gawd you have a perfect right to be completely nuts.....why should you go back to normal? U2 only comes around every four years so you gotta make the most of it while there here.....enjoy it hun cause we would all love to have been there with ya too... ;) ...... and Dublin does sound like it will be a roaring good time.....grrrr

Ok, so I'll rant a bit. You'll probably be annoyed with me, but I can take that. ;-)Since the Gelsenkirchen show, I'm just really distraught and trying to come to terms with what it is that annoyed me so. And maybe it's too early to draw some final conclusions. What I've figured out so far is that this is not my band anymore as I love them and want to see them play. The things I used to love about their shows have - well, maybe not gone completely, but have been diminished. And the things that I find hard to take have increased.But maybe it's just me, not having the time and energy to let myself be fully absorbed by this as I used to on the last tours. In between shows, I have to keep a clear head in order to get my work done, so that might keep me from getting properly involved.And with Dublin, I don't know, and you probably won't understand it, but maybe the Dublin virus has worn off with me a bit. After seeing them play there in '93 and '97, I didn't even have any interest to see them in Slane. The Zoo TV in Dublin experience for me is just hard to beat...And I don't think I'll go to Killiney, too many fans around. ;-)
