Sushi's Faint Count So Far: 10 (counting the Glasgow pix) OMG I swear I died of laughing when I saw this... I VOTE THIS SHOULD BE THE NEW 'ZILLION COMMENTS' PIC!!!!! He just gets sexier and sexier!! Maybe it's something about the spitting that makes him UBER-HEXY in this pic!!!!

Hello!! *wavesexcitedly* Just wanted to drop a quick note before I'm off to Dublin airport and flying back home. The shows were awesome!!! Incredible!!! When they played Horses I thought, ok, I can die now... it doesn't get any better than that!!! Don't know what to say, it was so emotional and raw and... and... God, I guess I don't make much sense here, can't think straight. Was all too much, everything hurts... been in the "heart" both times, first night at Adam's side, second night at Edge's... I saw him so close, it was amzing! Aaaaaaah, they really blew me away...

Oh wow, what can I say... It truly was amazing, and I'm still blown away. And it's awful to know that the stage is still there and now they are queuing again for tonight's show and I'm not there... I'll never do that again, the feeling is terrible! But I'll try to concentrate on what I have rather than what I have not, so here it goes...On the first night, it was raining the whole day more or less, but it wasn't too bad as it was more of a drizzle. I wouldn't have minded if it had really started to rain during the show, because I have really good memories of U2 shows in the rain so far. I stood at Adam's b-stage from the inside of the "heart" (for lack of a better word), and the atmosphere was fantastic. They had changed the setlist since Gelsenkirchen with one rock song after another at the beginning which proved to be a good idea, because the whole place really rocked. When they played Still Haven't Found, it was very emotional, but when I heard the first chords of Horses, I thought, ok, I can die now... I was so struck and shocked (in a positive way!!) that I haven't been able to sing the first verse. I just stood there and couldn't help crying because that song for me personally has always been so much linked to Dublin and to my little Zooropa tour in '93, and I've never before heard it live. So when they started playing it, I felt like... I don't know what all it was that came up from the bottom of my heart, but it was so much... I'll never forget that moment for as long as I live. The first Dublin show in 2005 for me will always be the show where they played Horses. From then on, I was somewhere else, I don't know where but definitely not on this planet anymore... *sigh* Bono sang like a God, I don't know where he took that voice from. Unbelievable. And Adam is just so cool when he strolls around the catwalk, smiling into the crowd. He looks so comfortable up there, it's really his place to be.The second day started with a bit of stress to get my tickets, but at the end, everything worked out fine. We stood at Edge's b-stage, again from the inside of the "heart". Finally seeing him close! Oooohh... At the end of Mysterious Ways, Edge was joined by Adam on the b-stage and they really jammed away together, smiling at each other and having a good time. So cute! And then Bono came to them and they were discussing what to play next, it was so much fun to watch. A guy was pulled onstage to play Party Girl, which caused more than a bit of stress for Dallas Schoo who didn't seem to find the right guitar immediately... hihi... But everything went well, and when they stood there playing Party Girl, Adam, Edge and Bono with the guy between them, I thought, wow, this is probably the day of his life! And he could play! Very nice moment! At both nights, they enjoyed themselves so much, there was so much smiling and hugging and patting shoulders among the band that leaves me thoroughly satisfied - because when they have a good time, so do I.I don't know what to say... They truly were amazing. This wasn't the band I saw in Gelsenkirchen. This was my band again, as I love them. I love them!!!

Thanks so much for all the detail. Horses holds a very special place in my heart as well, and I think I would have felt the same way. I'm kind of thinking the same thing as Sushi with this being the photo. It is a great one. But then again the other is pretty fun. We could have two!!!!!!!!!! Back to Slate, they must have been so happy to be home that is shined through on their performance. How fun it must have been,to be in their home town and to see them. I guess there are just no words to explain how amazing it was,but you did a good job. Thanks again :)
