A question:I know they have 2 stages (at least) for their shows. But what about the equipment. When they played in London Edge played this guitar (now idea what its called, and I dont care) and now in Vienna too. And the same to Adam and Larry. Is that all doubled too?? Or did they have to get them on the plane and to Vienna??? Oh, I am such a stupid ass.

it's a gibson explorer, used in at least beautiful day and I will follow.. the rest I dunno... but I assume they transported them...

*Drools* gibson explorer.. I have a rb gibson thunderbird bass, which looks similar, but it ain't as handsome as that baby!.. i always thought Edge was famous for that guitar, lol

it's made in 1976.. so pretty old, that makes it expensive... and how I know it? well, I want to learn to play guitar..so I searched for the guitar he used on beautiful day... and tah dah.. btw.. I've been told that a Fender Stratocaster is the best guitar to do u2 songs on... but the friggin thing is 529€!.. so Ill better buy a cheaper one first... and take some lessons

The funkiest but most awkward guitar is the gibson flying v, never learn to play with one!!!... mine currently has no strings or pick ups, but is a cool decoration, lol.. I love fenders, but I only have a fender p-bass, which is an old heap, with every possible piece falling off, lol.. But generally fenders are hardwearing and last a long time, even second hand.. I'm really wanting get a Cats Eyes showmaster Fender.. It suits my name so it must be good, lol

Stevie Ray Vaughn's signature is a nice strat but when we got this one it went for around twelve hundred bucks...no clue what they are now?...don't laugh but as far as guitars go they're only as good as the player ..if you play like Edge or Hendrix you could make a washboard sound terrific......thats if you have the right pickups ..... :) ...grrr

Well hun stay away from New Orleans cause they have some cajun music involving a washboard that 'll pin you up against a wall......I like it if its played with a blues guitar a honky tonk kicka-- piano and the Neville Brothers leading the way;)) ...promise land here I come....lol

They are black, and they are made of some shiny material (maybe leather or something else).

oh.. well i have black ones.. but they're not shiny. they extra hi, and used to be pink inside, but now it seems to be some shade of brown.. rank or what, lol.. ooh, the shinyness!!
