You can tell that he is singing to his Dad again,"Somtimes you can make it on your own". I think when he sings that song, he leaves us for a bit and goes somewhere else. I think when I heard him and saw him sing that song under the Brooklyn bridge, for the video, it almost made me cry, since he was so passionate with it.

he looks indead like he's with his head somewhere else... maybe(since he looks up) he is thinking about heaven or such, how his dad would be, if both his parents are together now, stuff like that...
From: fanny on 2005-10-02 19:38:33
oh shit..I don't remember him taking his glasses off. guess I really missed something there..*sigh* hehe=)
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-02 19:50:09
uhh fan, he ALLWAYS takes his shades off for sometimes.... well I've never seen a collection w/o them... too bad he doesn't also takes them off at more happier songs, they would make great shots!

Whaaaaaaaaaaat? You have dirt on me and are not spilling? :-O No fair! Care to spill? Hmm let see, an email address I dont care about getting spammed... [email protected] :D
From: Octu2 on 2005-10-03 05:12:48
how did you get that e-mail address Miro?
From: Miroslava on 2005-10-03 05:17:18
B slipped it in my pocket after we danced... ;-)It's just one of the "many" perks of being a U2.com member :P And Soulie better email me with details... now I'm all freaked out that what she thinks may be fun, hilarious and wild things may not be so much so for me... :P :D
From: Octu2 on 2005-10-03 05:22:14
Maybe I will treat myself and get one too :) Maybe with some of my Birthday money. Did you pay 40.00 dollars to join up?
From: Miroslava on 2005-10-03 05:28:29
Yes, which sucks. But at least the presale code did get me Dublin tickets. Honestly, I would not recommend getting it now. I am not even sure if I am going to renew it...
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-03 17:08:44
lol soulie now you made me curious too!.. hm I considered that membership, but for europeans it's not that worthy I think...
From: IsDinnerReadyYet on 2005-10-03 18:04:05
Hi guys n gals (mostly gals??)I also think it sucks that they charge for membership. I'm against this kind of capitalism so I'm not a member :-( Also think ticket prices were way tooooo high. And they still haven't found a good system that beats scum-of-the-earth ticket touts...(this is my gripe of the day folks ;-)
From: Miroslava on 2005-10-03 18:16:33
Well, the thing is that I may just renew it to be on the safe side. After the mess that was the presale, the rumor was that what they may do is give priority by seniority. I am membership #900 something, which means, I am pretty high up the queue and it may work in my advantage when and if they do this again... I am a sucker. I know :P
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-03 19:47:00
hm 900, that's quite a lot... shit... I was eating a lollypop, and now the stick is inside my mouth, adn its stuck>< I can't get it out... I usually do this with chupa chups, since those sticks are easy to bend... but this one isnt bending ..... great... I love my luck...
From: Miroslava on 2005-10-03 19:52:41
Well, they didnt start at 1, and last I checked a long time ago, they were up to the 20,000s :P So assuming they were to give you first choice for a pair of tickets are any venue, the lower your number the greater the liklihood of you getting your desired tickets... Again, all of this assuming they followed this reasoning and that well, U2 tour again :P

*prays* oh I HOPE they will return to dutchieland too then.... I soo wanna see them live... but too bad there are alot of fans here and the city's so small, so there's like no chance in meeting them alone... I heard bono's so much cuter when you meet him by himself... hmm I wanna go to dubliiiin!
From: fanny on 2005-10-03 21:35:06
I'll go with you..maybe I will take some cash with me and buy a house there..haha!=) we have a little one week holiday from school this week and I asked my mom if we could go to Dublin:) and she was like..hehehehe-no=)
From: Ingrid *pop* Idea on 2005-10-03 21:37:16
How 'bout we're all goin to dublin together!!!! I mean, with all of uss... hmm would be a very interesting idea what would happen tho....
From: fanny on 2005-10-03 21:42:57
that would be funny!=) and everyone should stay at the Clarence hotel and everyday we'd go see places that has something to do with U2..I've never talked a lot of U2 with someone exept on this page..I try,but it never ends up as a conversation..hehe=) it ends more like oh,stop talking about U2 that's all you ever talk about..hehe
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-03 21:44:15
oh I know the feeling!!! I can be like that too!!! I'm sure we could get along pretty well... hehe.. only maybe if we'd see bono somewhere there could break out a fight ^^ but hmmm I like the idea, I like it alot!!! better wait till they're home again tho^^
From: fanny on 2005-10-03 21:46:30
yes it would be boring if they weren't in town:) I wonder what would have happened if we met one of them..but I think that it is a chance for everyone who's a hardcore U2 fan to see them or meet them..atleast if we try.hugs!
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-03 21:55:33
ohhhh if soulie would take the man away I'll tackle her!!!! hehe no I think we could uhhh have a drink with him or so?(or two, or three, or enough^^)
From: fanny on 2005-10-03 22:47:55
haha..okay,then me and sushi must drive you guys home then, cos we can't drink..well we can't drive too..! Sushi, what shall we do about this??hehe;)Hugs to everyone..
From: sushi on 2005-10-04 02:00:24
ok.. snort... lmao... Ingrid I like your thinking, haha!! here's what we do fanny: we sit around sipping our root beers and cream sodas while everyone else gets drunk... then we pile them all into the back of a truck and use driver's liscenses we got from a country where people are allowed to drive at 13 and then drive them home.. then we make sure nobody haunts them in the night for getting drunk ^^
From: fanny on 2005-10-04 12:23:05
okay, then we all know what to do..all we need now is ordering tickets and hotel rooms, then we're off to Dubliiiin in no time;)
