Soulcat, have you seen the Achtoon section on atu2.com with the cat named Bun? I die everytime I see it. It is listed on the side. It says Achtoon cartoons I think. That lady is very creative and her Cat is so cute. Normaly this would be dorky, but she does a great job with the cat and her art work.

This picture reminds me that I am going to talk my husband into getting the cool u2 ipod. He is on a business trip in China right now so I can't do the talking right now. I talked to the Apple people and they added color to the text and lowered the price by 20.00......so I think I may get one. Also to all the people that I had a conversation with about sewing, I'm finally getting my dream sewing machine this week!!! A new Bernina.....All the cool clothing I can make is now on it's way. A new ipod and sewing machine, I don't know if my heart can take it.
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-08-02 08:44:16
Eyeballs Pop....oh hell i almost got one of those Bernina's online but it was a fortune and I chickened out.... finally opted for a Singer!!!! lol... :).....I'm like Bono with an ipod....how the (blank) do you work the damn thing??? hahaha..... I want it but I'm scared of it!!!! grrrr ....You should have jumped in hubby's overnight bag and flew to China too... :)off topic but I want to go to Singapore and Malay....I've a nice friend in Singapore and come to find out it's as expensive to live there as it is in California .... um go figure!!! ...grrr
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-02 12:33:01
it's achtoon baby btw...and they're dead funny! especially the small u2 ones.. and it's stupid, but I laughed about the random bomb thoughts, bono in bed with apples drawing.. it doesnt make sense, and that might be the funniest part!sigh, i want the u2 ipod, but why couldnt they make a smaller/cheaper version:( I mean, I'll never fill 20 gig, and 350€ is sooo much
From: Octu2 on 2005-08-02 18:59:26
I know Soulie, I'm still in shock that I can get one!!! It is the Activa 240. I was salavating at all the cool projects I can make now. As for the ipod, my husband knows how to add all the music and stuff to it. My daughter has the mini ipod and I know how to work hers. We decided that if we did get the U2 one, that we would share it,since it has so much space on it. We kind of like the same music, so I'm sure this will work. He will have to put all the music on though since I don't have a clue either!! I just love how you don't have to cart all the cds everywhere you go. There are also gadjets that you can put in your car now that hooks up the ipod to your stereo system and it plays all your music on the ipod. My husbands trip this time, included Singapore as well. He is there today actually. The company did ask us if we wanted to be relocated to Singapore, but I said no. My husband agreed that it was not the best choice for our high school aged daughter. If it was Europe again, I would go though :) I wouldn't mind visiting though. Also, he sometimes goes to India. I would love to go there also.

From: Ingrid on 2005-08-03 19:24:37
if you have probs with mp3players and such, I can prolly help... Ipod is a tougher one, cuz it won't accept WMA, that's windows media players usual rip file... if you rip the cd with WMP it'll become a .wma file.... Ipod didnt have license and coud not play the file, so you will need an mp3 converter, they are available trough internet, just google it and find... so you have to convert the files into mp3... then attach the cable into the USB2.0 port(usually for mouse/camera/printer/etc) and the other half in the ipod... and do the same as you wouild transfer files, but now transfer to the new harddisk, name depends on pc... transferable disk is mostly used...I hope you get it ^_^
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-08-04 00:11:28
Ok sweety i lost you when you said " if" ....lol......I have no idea what your talking about???????? WMA is that what you watch movies with ? How do you make a WMA file before convert it into a MP3 ? What is a USB2.0 port? How do you transfer a file? What is a hard disk? Is a pc the big machine with the turn on switch?...... grrrrr

Oct I was trying to write last night and my puter got erased three times ......my electricity kept blipping out! So irked me cause I was writing big messages and they went into cyber space! Now I'm to tired to do it again!.... So just gonna make it short here.... Oh I would love to live in Singapore .... so culturally rich and growing into its own every day... as for India they have had so much natural disaster I feel aweful for them ....but not sure I'd want to visit there right now...to many variables...but I'd love to go to Egypt and that dream has been shelved too!!!! .....oh how I envy you and your new machine!!!! Gaaa I've noticed lately how impatient I've been getting with it all...think I need to take a break from it....maybe do some ceramics for a while.... I'm having trouble with my feeder and I want to throw the thing off my deck into the creek!hahaha....I hate ripping!!!!! hahaha....ok gonna go check a few more and gotta go....*waves*...grrr

I had to find this pic in the bone yard again! One day I'm not here and it is gone. I picked up my new machine today and now I'm a bit terrified of it. It comes with two free classes on how to operate it. I will most definately be taking them. It isn't too difficult, but it has a small computer in it to program button holes. Soon as I see the word program, I tell myself...I won't be doing that. I just can't wait to use something that works like a true dream. I bought all these very thin fabrics to make my daughter all these cool shirts, and I put it off because of my old machine. Now I can proceed, soon as I get the darn thing figured out. I would never get one of those super ones that had computer hook ups and every gadget under the sun. This one has just the right amount of things on it. In true Swiss fashion,it runs like one of their watches!! My husband arrived today with some cool pictures of Shanghi and of Singapore. He had a good trip, but now feels very tired at the moment. Two red eyeballs is what I see right now.He said yes to the i pod but said that he wanted to get it for my birthday. I don't think I want to wait that long. So, he said ok. I was dying when Ingrid launched into all that technology! I was lost at the point she started talking about WMA, i don't even know what that is. As I said, my husband will be doing all the programing on it,not me, and if I were on my own, I would be looking at them longingly and not buy them. I was laughing at the access hollywood interview, when they were teasing all of them about knowing how to operate the ipod. Edge kept yelling "I know your in there" Funny. Is your machine fairly new Soulie? Maybe it needs to be taken in for a overhaul. Sometimes that is all it needs. I just bought my daughter a Singer, and I found out that Bernina sells entry level ones for as low as 199.00 Her's was 179, I'm wondering if I made the right choice. Oh well. I had to wait for my Bernina for 20 years, she can do the same I guess:)

How old is your sisters baby?...Do you make baby clothes? .....I've made boxes of baby goodies.... although back when I enterprized in that..... material was so much cheaper than it is now and of course they sold material on every corner....its sure not like that anymore!..... we do have a nice shop here but their material isn't cheap..... I buy $55.00 a yard silk linens because I only need a snipet for the fancy doll clothes I make ; 0....the darn the dolls they dress better than I do!!!!! hihihi....looks around sighing I so need to do something with all of them.... there taking over my house....gads!....and one whole closet!!! ....Oct i'll tell ya there are lots of posters here and I'm getting totally lost all the time..... in the old days(hihi) the comment section was not listed with the actual photo only the tag and our name's were listed in timely order...what it ment was that it was a really long long list and you really never got lost..... having the photo takes up alot of space so we lose the posts quickly.. :] ...but I do like this pictured one too.. ;)Oh my machine is 5....... I do believe its in fairly good shape though I've went through three in my life.... :)) .... I need to service it yes.....but am too lazy to drag it in..... its in a big cabinet and I have to unscrew it to take it in.... duh! ...I could lubricate and oil it that helps!!!hahha... or it could be the thread I'm using ...this no name brand crap... could be contributing!!!! gawd! .... I just don't have the patience I use too I guess?... :( Oh I knew I'd need classes if I bought anything other than a Singer .... my Mom bought a top of the line Singer before they went ringadingding and its all computer but not really complicated.... :)) Forget the ipod for me I already know its way over my head!!!! ....I did see the U2 thing on TV and taped it.. :)) ....so funny our dolls.... that interviewer caught Bono off guard I spotted that look on Bono's face right off...he always gets very still and stares pointedly just before he falls into himself and then in steps sweety pie Edge and saved him ...it was just one of those silly funny moments that I adore...and they had a good chuckle too!.... grrrr
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-05 19:07:40
oooh I wanna see that commercial!Okay I'll try to explain it shortly, Wma is the audio extension of windows media player(WMP) and the extension of the files you have on cd are .cdr or something like that, they're cd audio files. An mp3player can't read cd audio, it needs wma or mp3, the u2 ipod even accepts .avi, those are video files(guess what I'm gonna put on my u2pod ghehe all films I have of them!) and if you use windows media player to get the files from the cd on your computer(I hope you are using wmp to listen songs with, otherwise, forget it, you wont get it ^^) okay you go to rip from cd there, put the cd in, the cd selects itself, and you have to click the button copy, the files will copy themselves in C:My files(or something like that I have a dutch pc)/my music and it will be in .wma file... thats a media audio Ipod will automatically transform into mp3, wich is, smaller file, better quality... it is something like a compressor, it squeezes the file together, but the sound quality won't get worse.... God I really feel you are getting nothing about what I am saying, but still... I try... ^^Ok soulie, a harddisk player is like an Ipod, a player with alot of memory, wich can think of itself, ipod is a small minicomputer... a Flash player are those small keylike things, also called usb stick.. brings us to the next thing, usb port... I don't know what kind of computer you have, but mostly it's on the back of the pc(new pcs have it generally in front) and it's a hole in your pc, sized like a cm by half...no it's less, but if you have a webcam, it's in that hole, mostly the printer is in it too... thats the hole you must put the cable into, wich will also be plugged into the ipod, to connect both to your pc!Ok transferring a file... you know how to copy paste right?..... right?ok, when WMP ripped all the music files off your cd(don't worry they're still on the cd too!)they will be in the file like c:my files\my music... in a map called U2, and the name of the cd.....ok you go to that map, hold the ctrl key(most down left key on keyboard here) and click with your left mouse button on the files you want on your ipod/whatever..... then you rightclick on it, and select copy... you go to my pc, (I dont know how its called in english pcs)I think it's like changable player or so, or maybe it's just ipod...well anyway, you go to that file, and when you're in an empty file, press ctrl+V or rightmouseclick paste... and voila, the files are being copypasted into your music player!ok I know, you didnt get it.... at least I tried my best!btw, is the ipod commercial available on the internawt?

I have made so many baby and children's clothing that it became and obsession for awhile. I was always stopped in the city when my girls wore the clothing I made, and was told to go into business, but I never did. I thought it would take the joy out of it. I use to make children's coats that had a European flair. I sold a few to friends but that is where I stopped. I use to buy Vouge Bambini and get fabric and detail inspriations for all my kids clothing. I still make clothing for my sister's girls, who are 9 and 7. I made my nephew's baptism out fit while I was living in France and prayed it would fit. It turned out gorgeous, since it was out of silk doupioni sp? Now I'm making teenager clothing, which is fun,but I miss little clothing. Although, there is now a new memeber of the family that will be born in a couple of weeks,a new neice, that will be getting fun hand made things soon. I made a cute embroidered pillow for her room and now I wnat to do some clothing for Chirstmas for her. I may do a coat.Soulie, I would love to see your doll clothing!!! I think when I start having grandchildren(hopefully not too soon) and I have grandaughters, I will be making barbie clothing non stop. I can see how addicting it could be. I look at the ones in the Vouge pattern book and have to stop myself from buying them. I hear you about the fabrics too. I have a mom and pop one near by that I go to since they have the most beautiful fabrics. They aren't snobby like Britex in the city, so I go there. The nerdy joann fabric store does in a pinch, but I don't go there often. Next time my hubby goes to India, I will ask him to get some fabric for me. He did it once and picked out some real pretty ones. He is a true prince I tell ya. Ingrid, I still don't get it and I hate all the shortening of names, since I'm not too hip with all the lingo. Bless you for trying though:)
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-05 20:55:14
ok wich shortenings ou dont get? btw I dont get a heck of your story, so that compares a bit^^ My mom used to make clothes for me when I was little... but I'm now way too big..I am growing too fast, if she finishes something, I grew out of it allready... so she quit doing it..

I hope you don't think I'm being mean, I'm the one who is the dork that can't figure it out :) We are just talking about our sewing stuff here, since we found out we both like to sew. not too many people sew anymore,so it is fun to chat about it sometimes.
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-05 21:27:58
I know, (why the hell isnt my tab button working anymore ¬_¬) but if you mean the .wma and .mp3 that you don;'t get those shortenings.. it's ok. you dont need to know.. it's just for example, the file is called 01 Vertigo, it will be called 01 Vertigo.wma the back thing is the way for the computer to read what kind of file it is, sound, picture, system that kinda stuff.. just don't pay too much attention too it...

This is pissing me off to hell. I don't know what to do. I want to get an audio and video bootleg of the 4/25 concert (the one that I went to) but if I do get that I won't be able to buy the Bono/Michka Assayas book. My current budget is $50, the book is $12 (excluding shipping) and the video and audio bootlegs put together is $40. The person selling them is willing to trade for bootlegs of other concerts but I obviously don't have any!! And then there's this guilt factor. Bono says he encourages people to record their shows but if they're making money off of it he's "going to find out where they park their cars." And then there's the ever-imminent threat of going-to-be released DVDs, like the Chicago, Milan and whatever else has been recorded. I could buy those and just get the audio bootleg, but then I'd be mad because the boys played some songs at the 4/25 concert that they didn't at the Milan & Chicago concerts. I could find someone else who is trading bootlegs for stuff I actually have, but I don't know what the heck people will trade for!! What do I do.... <=,(

Sushi, buy the book, it is great and Ingrid is right, you do feel like you know him better and what he thiks about the important things in his life. Some of it is very political, but you will learn a lot about his causes. You will not be disapointed. I for one don't like the whole boot leg thing,my sister does it all the time and I like makinghe feel guilty. I think about how the other people that put it together lose money, not just the guys. In the end you should do the right thing, it will always serve you well in the end. The boot leg stuff might not even be good quality and you may make the FBI list if you do it. becareful should you go down that route.....I for one would not, but that is just me.

and remember! the more money you give bono, the more he spends on africa! so you'll be doing something good for them aswell!btw soulie, the chapter about africa, that one was a bit too long for me, but after the bush blah blah it became interesting again, and well, the rest of the book didnt lost my focus at all! My mom called me from downstairs several times, without succes... ^^

I ish bumping this piccy up but I ish bored so I ish gonna talk nonsense... hihihiAt their most recent concert in Barcelona U2 had a shocking phenomenon: Three band members fell on the ground, throwing up simultaneously. Bono was the only remaining member standing, and after his mates were ushered backstage he emerged with three anonymous girls who then took over the sick bandmates positions. The substitute band surged through Sunday Bloody Sunday like professionals, and afterwards Bono introduced them to the befuddled audience: "I love you girls... thank you so much. Give it up... for these amazing girls... on the bass, Kat! On the drums, Mariette! And on the guitar, Sushi!" He hugged and *gasp* kissed them all and waved them backstage as The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr emerged, looking much better. The previously sick band members thanked (via hugging and *gasp* kissing) their respective substitutes as they claimed their spots on the stage, greeted by ear-splitting cheers from the audience. I've had a rough version of that in my head for a couple of days, I just had to get it out. =D

You know the bootleg stuff that I have (majority) was not pirated over the internet ...this was way before internet.... and all the laws pertaining to it now.. (heck really when I taped live aide off TV it was a considered a bootleg) .... some of the stuff I own I puchased at outrageous prices as imports at a particular record store that ordered them for me....this was years ago also but they were considered bootleg... but Oct don't forget technically when you watch any of these videos we've all been watching no matter what site besides U2's official site are all bootlegs.... ;)) grrr
From: sushi on 2005-08-08 19:44:36
I just watched another Amsterdam vid... one of the NYD ones. Hilarious! Edge changed the solo apparently, they didn't show that in the vid. But anyway, he changed the solo and Bono said, "First time... that was the first time in twenty years I've heard Edge change the solo for New Year's Day. Once in a while, every once in a while, we say to The Edge, 'Why don't you change the solo for New Year's Day?' and he says 'Why? It's perfect.'" And then Edge yells something to Bono but he couldn't hear, so he went up to him and said it into his ear. Bono smiled and laughed and said, "It was an accident."^^ =P Funny people...

I know I know, it seems like there is no getting around the bootleg thing. I just like to make sure credit is given to all those who work hard to produce the stuff legally. That video sounds funny Sushi, is it one of the ones on this site? We have had company here for so long that I can't sit here that long and look at everything. It takes so much time and I feel like a nerd being on here super long and my family wondering what the hell I'm doing on this u2 site. Oh well. I still haven't had a chance to see your drawings yet, but soon as company is gone I will look. Have you seen the water colors that lady does on Achtoon baby on atu2.com? She is pretty good too and the ones where she lets her cat BUN take over are so funny that I have to keep going back to see if she has a new one. Have you seen that one yet Soulie? I think I asked you already, so sorry for the repeat. I normaly don't like cutsy things with animals, although I love animals don't get me wrong, but this is so well done and hilarious that it is fun. I love the drawings she did of Larry with that room that he has of all the U2 souvenirs. Funny stuff check it out is you haven't seen it yet.

I just checked Achtoon baby and she finally put up her August instalment. It is very cool and funny. I would love to meet this person. She sure has a great sense of humor and is very talented.Soulie, My Aunt was so obsessed with Tom Jones that I think that it sometimes contributed to her husband leaving her. She would make special see through crocheted outfits for the concerts. I can't say that he is my favorite. He is one of those artists that has had his day. Not to say that he isn't a good singer, it is just that he has aged weirdly and I don't think I could pay to watch him. Sorry :(You are more generous to Utah than I am. I have been there a few times because my dad lived in Wyoming for a while. We had to fly into Salt Lake . I found that the whole State seemed to be left in a time warp of the late 50's early 60's. There are some nice restaurants in Salt Lake though, but they have way too many rules with just having a glass of wine. You can go in a special closet to drink it if you really want it. So, lets see, I'll take a bite of my steak, then I will run over to the closet for a sip of wine. Granted there are some natural wonders there that are beautiful, but you won't be getting me over there anytime soon. Thank goodness my Dad moved to the Chicago area. At least you can have a glass of wine with your steak there!! Anyway, Sushi I hope you are in a nice part of Utah enjoying yourself. My grandparents use to camp in the canyons every summer. I visited them once them and had a nice time. We will be looking out for your comments when you can post them.

Whew, I had to come over here for a bit to catch a breather from the other photo. There are no words for how nerdballish ZOOKEEPER is. by the way "Nerdballish"is a word that my kids and I made up. It is a combination of being a nerd and cornball. cornball meaning boring and behind the times. So, you see ZOOKeeper is a nerdball. If you re-read his post again, he is pretty much a dog chasing his tail. And yes, I think he is a man since he doesn't like the fact that Us tarts are commenting on their looks. Soulcat ripped a good one on him,but he ran scared and pulled the high road stuff. Personally I think he sould find another depressing site with his own kind and let us enjoy ourselves here.

Hey everyone... hugs to you all!! Miss you... Oh gosh my siblings are unbelievable... they were so stressful the other day I nearly started crying and I wanted to come onto this site cause it's just such a great place to lose yourself... luvs.. thank you Soulie... error, I dunno it was fine when I left.. ?? haha, yeah I'll make sure to yodle all I can till I lose my voice.. inside the Tabernacle would be cool... =DDSURVIVES UTAH?!?! What are you people saying?? Frick'n heck I'm in LOVE with Utah!! I love it! *drools* I'm from Utah so there's a sentimental attachment to it, but I'd love it anyway even if I wasn't. =D Amen Soulie bout the landscapes... beautiful place, i love it. I'm staying in the Salt Lake Valley, gorgeous breathtaking mountains wherever you look.. Oct I'm lost on the time warp thing... it is a bit old-feeling, but I think that's just causa the desert.. and the wine thing... =O *psst* the main reason for that is cause Utah's 99.9% Mormon... I won't comment on that anymore unless someone brings it up.. *shifty*I read the whole big thingy with zoo-keeper... I don't know what to do. I agree with Soulie Oct and Fanny, but there are some points zoo-keeper makes that I just kinda say, "oh yeah I guess he's right on that one..." but I think if I got into it I'd just make it worse, which I don't want to do because you guys obviously made a truce. =D I mostly agree with the U2 babes but I'm not the kind of person to take sides unless I'm really really passionate about it, which I'm not in the case of the zoo-keeper thing. OHO guess what my wonderful aunt did she is GREAT!!! We don't have cable at home so we missed the RRHoF induction of the boys.. so my wonderful wonderful aunt taped it for me!! *dies* yayaaaayy... so I luv you all, miss you bunches!! Just wanted to tell you I'm having tons of fun.. I'll kinda describe whats going on in a different post cause this one's getting a bit long. =DHUGS!
From: sushi on 2005-08-12 01:35:06
so we got up at 4 am and went to the airport, got on this teeny weeny plane and flew to Boise where we'd catch a plane to Salt Lake City. I cannot tell you how much I HATE Idaho. It's so bleak and boring, and it depresses me. O.o Anyway I was really happy when the plane for SLC came, but it was a small propellor plane, which I didn't mind except we sat in the very back row where it's super loud. I love planes and flying (and the smell of airports... don't ask!! ^^) so I didn't mind the noise. I spent most of the time looking out the window and doing crosswords. When we landed in SLC the rental car place wouldn't give us our car cause my mom's debit card was invalid or something like that (even though she reserved a car and paid for it two weeks ahead of time) so we called my aunt to pick us up, but when she got here my mom and her decided to go bully the rental place till they gave us the car (which they did) Utah has a bunch of awesome radio stations.. within thirty seconds of scanning stations I ran into Desire... muahaha it's great to hear it on the radio!! turn it up reall loud, yeah... hehe... so we went over to our aunt's and uncles house (different aunt.. basically half my family on my mom's side lives in Utah) and settled in there, my aunt was on a river trip in the Grand Canyon but my uncle and cousin were there. that day we basically just slept, but at night my cousin and I decided to sleep outside in a tent, then my brother decided he wanted to, then my sister decided she wanted to. That did not work out. My siblings were shouting at each other through the tents and my cousin and i had our head under our pillows singing Mr Brightside.. my mom had to eventually drag my brother out of the tent and make him sleep inside cause she couldn't sleep with him shouting. next day my cousin uncle and I went to this frick'n huge pool place with a water playground and high dives and whatnot where my mom, siblings, other aunt and uncle and their kids were supposed to meet us but they never did. So we went home and sat around for a bit then my aunt (who's getting married, the one who's the reason we came down here) came over and took my cousin and i to dinner with my aunt's kids and my other uncle and his kids (who flew in from San Diego) and the aunt who taped the RRHoF induction. the aunt who's getting married was supposed to call my uncle (who we were staying with) to tell him where we were eating but she never did. so we went back to his house and he said "You guys ditched me!!" and then he explained that we were supposed to call, but we didn't, so we felt bad and gave him a big bearhug cause he had been ditched three times that day:1. My grandma and grandpa drove by but decided not to drop in (my uncle wanted to see them)2. The pool thing with my cousin and3. The restraunt calling thing. when my aunt got home from her river rafting trip she was wearing hillbilly teeth and was talking like a hillbilly. my uncle's daughter (the one who flew in from San Diego) was scared of them and had to pull them out. so we basically just mingled then.. and went to bed.today we had to get up early (8:30) to go to breakfast with... ok you might want to take a breather and drink some water to calm yourselves.. we went to breakfast with:2 grandparents6 aunts2 uncles5 cousins2 siblings1 parent1 great uncle1 great aunt(these people are all in relation to me)and we ate ourselves silly. a bunch of us had to go to the wedding rehearsal, but me and my cousins didn't so we went over to their hotel and went swimming for a bit. when the wedding rehearsal people came back all my aunts plus my sister and oldest cousin went to get a birthday present for my grandpa and the rest stayed at the hotel and watched TV. That's what we're doing right now. =Dhugs to all of you!! =DDD hope to be able to talk to you soon!! ^^

Hey Sushi, sorry about the comments on Utah, it's just that when I went if felt like it was left back in time. I'll have to admit though, Salt Lake is not really like that given it is big city. Yes wink, wink with the mormons. I must say I have a big issue with them, but that is a long sordid story. Yes, I called truce with Zookeeper, but I still think he is a bit stiff and a party pooper, since he ignored my last comment and went on to say all these things about U2 again(not bad though). So, I don't know if the apology was accepted or not.Hey ya know, the rock and roll hall of fame was all on the comuter and you could watch the whole thing. That is how I saw it. Have fun and hugs to you,was happy to see your post after dealing with the zooman. :)

Wow Sushi thats a nice journal going there.....have to tell you reading it made me homesick for my family get togethers too..... Gosh cherish it even if it seems silly and trite at this time cause one day it will be not neccessarily gone but the players in the scenes will be different......but you know what I don't think I even need to say that because you don't write that way...you write like a wise little gal that inherently does know what she has and the awareness of it! The descriptions of your family are very poignantly sweet and funny....thank you for sharing a part of your life with us...very brave of you and like Bono you open yourself up and give us a little piece of *you* each time you write....that's the first step in becoming a storyteller....*hugs B-Babe*....grrrrr

O well.Yay thank you Soulie and Oct I love my little baby ego lol thank you so much for your wunnerful compliments hihi I get them from everyone but I never get tired of them!! ^^ lol Sushi Trying to Explain How Cool U2 Is To Her Contemporaries:Contemporaries: Why do you like U2 so much?Sushi: Guess.Contemporaries: Cause they're hot?Sushi: *lies* No, sheesh you dorks they're forty-five. Do you think they're hot? Contemporaries: No. Why do you like them so much?Sushi: Cause they're incredible people.Contemporaries: Why? They're just egotistical stuck-up jerks who make trillions of dollars playing music that isn't that great to a bunch of dorks. Sushi: *goggles* Yeah, so what they're egotistical celebrities are supposed to be that way and it's only Bono really who's egotistical. They're not stuck-up in any way, and they don't make trillions of dollars. They don't play sucky music for a bunch of dorks, they play incredible music for thousands of people who have hearts and souls and appreciate U2's sacrifice to make them happy.Contemporaries: *goggles* Watch out, everyone, I think Sushi is Einstein's daughter!! No, not the smart Einstein, the insane Einstein!! She's gonna spread her evilly insane U2-ness around so RUN AWAY!! *runs away*Sushi: *sighs* As you can see, it doesn't work out so well. umm lessee the next day i think was friday, grandpa's bday... Goodness gracious can't remember at ALL what we did that day but for dinner we went to this big buffet place with... well I don't even want to try to remember who went but it was a frick'n lotta more family than I thought I had... O_O I didn't even know half of them.. but eventually I met them all and got to know them.. by the way I look JUST like my Aunt Debbie... so does my mom and her sisters, my cousins and my uncles, my grandparents and in-laws and everyone else that was there. EVERYONE looks just like her. ^^ But we ate ourselves silly and talked and talked, then my grandpa opened his presents (some of them verrrryy funny) and my aunt (who got back from her river trip) played guitar with my aunt (who's getting married) and she sang a birthday song for grandpa... the chorus was like this:His hearing's gone, but he's still strongAnd his jokes are oh so longDad's getting older, he's getting betterBut not his ears, his hearing's gone.LOL ^^ and then it was the bridal shower that night so we went back to the place i was staying at and had dinner, but I was crying soooo much, i dunno why... I think it started with my fricking hair, it wouldn't brush out and it hurt alot... then my mom got mad at me cause I couldn't find a plastic cup so I went down to the waterbed room and read a book my mom came down asked me what was wrong and I started bawling and saying I dunno so she went and got me some food... nice warm pleasure food with coke.. yummy.. felt a bit better and went out to watch the opening of the presents... the funniest one was a book "A Guide To Getting It On" lololol hihi funny so afterwards everyone left and I started bawling again my aunt said I needed to go get some sleep and drink some water, cause on a river trip she hadn't drank very much and was crying alot.. so I drank some water and went to bed....zzz... the next day was the BIG DAY... the wedding! Yay! We got up went over to pick up my aunt uncle and cousins and followed my aunt and uncle (who we were staying with) to Alpine way down by Provo (which my uncle and cousins had gone to yesterday during the bridal shower... I was really mad... I used to live in Provo and wanted to see it) where the wedding was in an art gallery or sumthin... we talked to a bunch of people while they arrived and my little cousin was such a pozer, he sat down in a super-cute pose on this lion statue and got a ton of pictures taken... hihi!! but while everyone was arriving the bride groom and everyone else was being shot at with cameras, then finally when the moment came the ceremony was wonderful I loved it.. my aunt was sooooooo beautiful in that dress, verryy very pretty smile, too.. so then ten--fifteen minutes afterwards I had an uncle in law... yay!! the frick'n food finally came out it was very yummy we had the reception at the same place and then my cousin Larry came... muahaha celebrity cousin!! Larry is in a couple of movies and a bunch of commercials.. Hocus Pocus, Saints and Soldiers, he just finished a movie about Johnny Cash and is shooting another one called Pirates of the Great Salt Lake, he's in a Ziploc commercial, Fruit of the Loom and a Mitsubishi one, plus a bunch of others.. he just recorded a pretty cool album, Where I Stand that should be released a bit after the Johnny Cash movie, it's very good!! I have an autographed copy, yay! ^^ Anyway the wedding was very nice I loved it... but I have to go now my stupid siblings are trying to kill each other... *whispers* yay! lol, sadly I have to stop them or else I'll get blamed for their deaths. big fat bussies and hugs, see you all later!!! ^^

*sigh* Ok no deaths, thats good, they're quiet as can be watching Spongebob.. lol after the wedding we went to a family reunion (as if we needed one!) at a park where Larry performed a couple of his songs for us yay!! BTW he's in WAAAYYY more movies than I thought... I don't want to list them all so just go here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0046541/and all his filmography is down somewhere.. the reunion was very fun I liked it alot... next morning everyone came over to where we were staying and had brunch and did crosswords, hehe, my family is big on crosswords.. then my aunt had to leave on another river trip.. *sniff*... after everyone left I can't remember what happened... I know I went to see my dad's mom, but I can't remember if it was that day or the next... o well... but anyway, my aunt uncle and cousins went to Murray to see my grandma and go swimming, the pool was nine feet deep (3 meters) but we were used to six feet deep (2 meters.. sorry if you guys who use Metric already know how many meters nine and six feet is, I just don't want to confuse anyone ^^) pools so when we jumped in we were surprised that there was no bottom!! lol my oldest cousin kept walking towards the pool saying "oh yes what a lovely pool OHMYGOODNESS" and falling in, it made me laugh so hard I swallowed water!! ^^ after a while some stormy clouds built up and we had to get out cause it was going to lightning right into the pool and fry us all.. so we went back, got changed and went to a wonderful Italian restraunt... they said it was very authentic but I don't know if I can trust them but if they were telling the truth Lucia your country's food is INCREDIBLE!! after that we went back to the "center of the universe" (where we were staying)and had yummy banana splits, played around on the pogo stick and did more crosswords plus my wunnerful uncle lit a fire with no matches, he's so talented... hihi!! this was the last night before my aunt and cousins had to leave (my uncle had already left) so hugs went all around and they left.. *sniff* we hung out on the stairs for a bit talking about skis and whatnot, then went to bed, woke up next morning gave my poor lonely uncle big fat bear hugs and left for the plane.. we forgot my sister's backpack so my uncle had to run it to us with his doggy who is the most wunnerful doggy i've ever met in my life (tho I still prefer kitties) and we said our final goo'byes and sat around for an hour waiting for the plane we thought would leave at ten but really left at noon. =( We went to Phoenix first (Phoenix is UGLY from the air.. it's a trillion billion totally identical houses laid out at perfect right angles to each other and EVERY SINGLE ONE has a backyard pool... it stretches on for miles and miles and miels and miles and miles... it's a sick display of human colonization, I think) then got on a big 757 to Orange County.. my dad picked us up in his dad's wunnerful convertible and drove us to Vista where we sat around for a bit, shopped and I had to babysit my siblings (that's when they were trying to kill each other) and right now we just got back from swimming and are watching TV. Yay. Life is good!! ^^ hugs to you all!! =D

Well, since my husband has been globe trotting this summer and I have had a French fesitval so to speak at my house this summer, exchange student for three weeks, then my daughters friend from France for 12 days, we have had no true summer vacation or time to ourselves. Your journal has been a fun departure from my boring summer. My daughter goes to school on the 23rd,so summer really feels like it is over for sure. Has anyone else gone anywhere very fun this summer? I only went to the beach once and that is all. Next year though I will be taking a true holiday and I will be visiting friends, and new family in France. My oldest fell in love as we were moving home last year and got married to a French man. Now I have an excuse to go to the south of France to visit his parents. So maybe I will float over to Bono's neck of the woods in France and catch a peek at him at the beach :)

Hello everyone! I can't belive I've been missing all this. I blame it on school!! grrrrr. I had an ok summer, I went to L.A. for a week to visit relatives, but I started school last week.I am now attending university for the first time, it's defenetly(sp) a change from what I was used to. A bit scary in a way. But now it means I'm not going to be able to be here as often, or to be on when most of you are on. I really enjoy all of your comments. Much love to you all. <3

Cool, now we have someone on here from Mexico. So I think there are at least four from North America and the rest are European, nice to have Mexico represented. I LOVE Mexican food soooo much!!! My husband and I have over dosed this summer. There is a very good restuarant that cooks food from Oaxaca near by,and I dream of the tortilla soup and tamales with mole from there. Oddly though, I went to San Miguel de Allende to visit my dad,who was living there for a couple years, and there were only a couple of places that I liked. I guess too any "gringos" occupy the area :) I speak spanish, so if you ever want to write your comment in Spanish, I could understand. Only problem is I think I may be the only one who does :( Hey Fanny Hi, hope your new school year goes well. New school,as in new building or did you move? anyway, have a good one and study hard.

The building is brand new and very beautiful=) and so many new people...and best of all we're going to teach a third language.english is the 2nd language, and we can choose(spell?) between german, french and spanish=)I think spanish sounds very exiting so I think I'm going to choose that one. but all of them are great,so I really don't know=)Lots of love

Hi Lizeth, I'm from northern California S.F. Bay Area.My husband's job took moved us to France a couple of years ago,and we moved back last summer .04. The single most thing we missed living over there was MEXICAN food.!!! They don't sell any corn products there so it was difficult to make any of it. Also no beans, that are like the ones used in Mexico anyway. The only thing they had was flour tortillas and those weren't that great. We would make Fajitas with them and since they did have cilantro and avocados, we were able to make some Guacamole. Soon as we visited our family for a week, we went crazy with the Mexican food!!! Now that we are back, we can have some good Mexican food again. My brother in law lives in a small town with a large Mexican population and they have a very cute Mercado there. We went there last week and I had to stop myself from buying everything there!! Ok OK enough about the food or I will leave right now to get some :)This site has become quite international hasn't it. Good to see.Lucky girl Fanny, with your new school, that would be a nice incentive to go back to school this year :) I think you will like Spanish, and hey if you need help let me know!!! Or you can ask Lizeth :)

hello all it's been a long week for me but I am back home in the wonderful Pacific Northwest after flying out from beautiful San Diego into ugly Phoenix then into the gorgeous Emerald City yay!!!!! after that we took a limo (!!) to where the car was parked and drove home to dead plants and sick animals. The people we left them with were stupid irresponsible retards who blackmail kids and pay them off to keep their dirty secrets and I can't believe we decided to let them take care of my precious Bounder. Grr. We left with:-two healthy tomato plants-a healthy strawberry plant-two healthy bell pepper plantsAnd we came back to:-two nearly dead tomato plants-a dead strawberry plant-two dead bell pepper plantsGrrrrr. I'm pissed. But with my wonderful skills with plants I should be able to nourish them back to health... oh and guess what my cat was wonderfully healthy and happy when we left but when we got home he was wheezing instead of breathing, his nose was bright red and he was using the litterbox. He never uses the litterbox unless he's sick, last time he used it a vet appointment was that day and the vet said he was sick and needed meds. So he's sick. And the fish are an inch away from death, we couldn't even see them through the water. But I'll stop ranting now and tell you what happened in the week that I didn't blog... it was a fun exciting week!! ^^

We had a day of nothing planned, but we decided to go shopping, we got a bunch of food and I got new swim shorts which I REALLY needed then we went to the beach, the wonderful California beach… it was some surfer’s beach in Carlsbad, I think. It was fun to watch all the surfers, then try to imitate them without a board… bodysurfing is really fun!! Of course surfing is MORE fun, unless you have to paddle out half a mile and have no strength to paddle back (which happened to me in Hawaii, the instructor had to tow me back to shore ^^) but we had fun bodysurfing, I only caught one wave but the surf was kind of lame that day, at least for me. My dad rode six or seven waves… *sigh* The bad thing about beaches like that is if I sit down just momentarily on the sand I get a bucketful of the stuff in my swimsuit… which really sucks if you’re going to a restaurant that night. Which we did. I have sucky luck. =P we drove into San Diego to go to a nice, very well-reviewed raw restaurant and when we walked in the waitress said they were closed. Even though their door was wide open, the sign said OPEN and the sign showing their business hours said “open till 9:30.” It was 9:00. We were super pissed and went to Fuddruckers instead where the sand really started to itch, but I couldn’t to anything about it… >=[ we ate ourselves silly. There was a Beatles booth, a Rolling Stones booth and an Elvis booth, all of which had a ton of pictures of their respective artists. I kind of got the idea that there was a “really great rock’n’roll bands” theme here, but I failed to see a U2 booth. \=|The next day we went to Legoland and did all the stuff there, the Technic and Dragon coasters were really fun, Miniland was incredibly cool, there was San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington DC, the Eiffel Tower, Mount Rushmore and the NASA’s shuttle ready for launch all made out of the teeny tiny eensy weensy Legos… wow!! ^^ I watched the caricature people draw three siblings, it was sooooooooo funny I love caricatures!!! lol it would be really cool to be a caricature artist… me and my dad did a Knight’s Tournament ride where you’re strapped you into a big seat with a padded pull-over-your-head restraint on a big mechanical arm and dangle you thirty feet in the air and then flip and spin and throw you around, it’s SOO MUCH FUN I nearly fainted from laughing while I was upside down!! then at the end we watched the fireworks that were pretty cool and I thought to myself “After all these resort fireworks Independence Day (US holiday) will be booorriinggg…” lol After Legoland came Seaworld, home of the famous Shamu (I’m a total Shamu fanatic ^^) we first saw the sea lion show… none of the shows at Seaworld are educational, and if they are the education part takes up three of the twenty or thirty minutes of the show. The story behind the sea lion show was that a captain a crew member and a sea lion were on a submarine to catch a mermaid and her pearl, then a tourist and her sea lion accidentally boarded the sub thinking it was a cruise (lol) I think apparently the sub went to deep and sprung a leak which the mermaid came in through and fell in love with the tourist sea lion (who fell in love with her) and she gave the pearl to the captain who gave his sub to the crew member sea lion who had always wanted to be a captain… so everyone got what they wanted.. it was pretty funny. We did all the exhibits (California moray eels, sharks, Florida manatees, otters and seals/sea lions) and the one hands on thing with some kind of ray which was pretty fun… he shark exhibit was cool, you went on a moving walkway through this fiberglass tube with sharks all around, swimming over the tube… yay!! We had lunch then and got superbly ripped off, we had to wait in line for an hour and paid $20 per person for lunch. Grr. I’m really into sea life, especially sharks otters and seals, so Seaworld was fun for me but everyone else felt ripped off for some reason… =( Then there was the one roller coaster, Journey to Atlantis or something… you got in this big coaster car, went up a hill then back down a really steep one where you got splashed a bit… then the car went into a room which was an elevator that took you up to the top of the coaster then we got shot down a bunch of twisty half corkscrew turns then it was over… it was short but fun. =D

There was a day of calm, my dad, brother and I went to see my uncle and his girlfriend… when we pulled into his driveway my dad said “Welcome to the Porsche graveyard” cause my uncle has two or three Porsche 911s and 914s that have been dead for ten years… one of them was parked in our Provo driveway for three years!! Anyway, frick I have to say if I was forced to pick a favorite uncle of aaaaalll my family, it would be him… he’s SO DANG AWESOME!! We went to a restaurant he described as “the redneck hangout of San Marcos” it had super yummy breakfasts, we got two omelets, a breakfast burrito (??) a Belgian waffle and French toast… it was pretty dang yummy. ^^ we went back to his house and just hung out with their two dogs, Zoey and Bubblicious (aka Bub, Bubba or Bubs) and their frick’n cool pool/hottub combo!! The hottub was above the pool and there was a waterfall going from the hottub to the pool… it was cool!! =D but then we had to leave.. *sniff* We got back to my dad’s house, packed up and left for…. Drumroll please….. dadadadadadaaddddummmmmmmmmmmm….. DISNEYLAND!!!! We hung out in the hotel the first day because my sister was sick, but the next morning we left the real world and “Entered Into The World of Yesterday, Tomorrow and Fantasy” as the sign says.. first we did the Matterhorn, that was fun, so much turning and twisting.. then we did the teacup ride, Alice in Wonderland and a couple other kiddy rides for my sister… we had lunch and then did.. drumroll please…. Dadadadadadadaaaadummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….. SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!! *dies* We waited in line for 45 minutes, 30 of which I spent looking for my mom and sister who decided not to go because the sign said a 70 min wait… but it lied. I got back in line just as my dad and brother were going into the building.. WOOHOOOO they sure pack up the suspense when you’re going down those hallways! I don’t want to ruin it for anyone who hasn’t been there.. so I’ll just say we came into this big room with some pretty dang cool stuff.. and then the moment came, we loaded onto the coaster and FLEW AWAY INTO SPAAAAAAAACCCE!!!!! They took down Space Mountain for a couple years to completely redo it, they changed the coaster completely and the effects were different, but everyone said it was waaaayy better after they changed it. Yay!! We did Thunder Mountain, Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, Indiana Jones, which I positively LOVED, it was serious adrenaline-packed suspenseful fun!! Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Pirates of The Caribbean and some others then we got stuck in the unbelievable post-fireworks traffic and had to go inside a restaurant for half an hour to escape it…. And so ends the first day of Disneyland.
From: sushi on 2005-08-25 09:09:55
The next day was just as fun.. we did Haunted Mansion (I laughed myself silly through the entire thing) Splash Mountain which I thought was a ripoff…. And Space Mountain with my mom and sister. I got to sit in the front of the coaster so I think it was funner the second time!! You think you know the coaster but then it surprises you… you think it’ll turn left but it turns right, you think it’ll go but it stops, you think it’ll climb a hill but it drops into a valley. It’s incredible fun. (BTW don’t put your hands in the air, you’ll get thrown around ((that hurts)) and you never know if you’ll hit a track above) we got our picture taken at the end, it was hilarious my hair was flying out, my sister’s face was wide-eyed funny, my dad was making a fricking hilarious but fake freaked-out face and my mom and brother were just laughing… so we bought an 8x10 and four wallet-sized pix, plus two souvenir Space Mountain keychains and a magnet. =D The last Disneyland ride we did was the Matterhorn, except it was different this time because we were on the inside track which was way better, you twist more and there’s more sharp turns, stops and drops. After Matterhorn my mom and sister stayed to meet more princesses but my dad, brother and I hopped over to California Adventure where we did a couple rides, the GRR (Grizzly River Rapids) the Maliboomer and the Hollywood Tower Hotel Tower of Terror Twilight Zone (LONGEST RIDE NAME EVER) The Maliboomer was first, only me and my dad did it cause my brother chickened out.. we got into super heavy-duty safety seats with those huge padded triangle shaped thingies you pull over your head (and a fiberglass vomit shield!! Lol!!) then we got shot up the tower at super high speed, when we got to the top we could see the whole park!! Then the machine just let us go and we fell halfway down.. it was freaky because when the machine lets go of you it feels like you’ve been detached from the tower and are going to fall to your death!! We did the GRR next, where we just strapped into an oversized innertube with seats and went down “whitewater” rapids, we got totally soaked and had to go down a couple of hills backwards (it’s the weirdest feeling) but it was fun. There was a ride just like that at Seaworld, but once we did the GRR it just looked like a big fat ripoff! We convinced my brother to go on the Hollywood Tower with us after he ran out of a room after a staff member asked him to step onto the carpet (apparently he thought the carpet would fall from under his feet and he would die) but we watched this freaky video about all the different “dimensions”, the dimensions of sight sound and feel, but then they talked about the TWILIGHT ZONE… I won’t ruin the story but it’s pretty weird.. then after the vid we went into a big room with a bunch of lines then we got into the SERVICE ELEVATOR…. *scary music* dadadadaDUUMMMMMMMMM…. Oooh I wanna tell you sooo badly but I don’t wanto ruin the surprise, cause you have honestly no idea what the ride is like until you get into the service elevator and they play a freaky light show where you look in a mirror and “wave goodbye to the real world, for you have just entered the twilight zone” and something freaky happens… but IT’S SO DANG FRICK’N COOOOL!!! After the Hollywood Tower my dad had to pick up the car at parking so my brother and I had 15 minutes to do whatever we could before we met my mom outside the park… we ran across the entire California Adventure park to get to the Maliboomer, but we didn’t have time to do it so we ran across the park again but by the time we got to where we were supposed to meet up we were five minutes late (my mom said to be there RIGHT ON THE DOT FOUR O’CLOCK) and our mom was nowhere to be seen… I was freaking out and walking in circles on the verge of tears, it’s really scary to not know where your parents are in a huge crowded place like that, but then she showed up and I was so surprised I started crying right there.. we went to the car and drank all three bottles of water between my brother and I in five minutes… then we stopped by my dad’s house to grab the rest of the luggage and have a snack before we left for the San Diego airport… which I must say is pretty dang cool, better than the Phoenix or Orange County airports, maybe even better than Seattle’s *gasp* did I just say that?! Lol jk jk…. But it’s pretty cool. The security is weird though, they made me take off my shoes which I’ve never had to do before and my mom had to take her hair out of the bun it was in and stand in a funky phone-booth type of thing where they shot air at her… f-r-e-a-k-y… so we did the whole goodbye ordeal with my dad, *sniff* went through security and got on the plane.. San Diego is incredible from the air at night, it’s amazing how there is no real line between the ocean and the land, the water goes into the coast and makes all these cool land formations, it’s awesome… when we were flying into Phoenix we flew next to SIX thunderstorms… thunderstorms from the air are literally breathtaking, the lightning lights up the clouds around it, it’s just incredible… but it was weird, the lightning stayed inside the clouds, there was no streaks going to the ground. ?? but it was cool. I tried to fall asleep on the plane to Seattle but was twisting and turning trying to get comfortable more often than not… when I did fall asleep I was waken up by the captain saying “We are about to make our final descent into Seattle, blah blah blah blah blah” I looked out the window and could only see a little bit of Seattle, I was so mad cause Seattle is just like San Diego from the air, really incredible.. but I missed it. Grr. So that’s the story of the previous week… fun, jam-packed busy.. You have waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy less free time on vacations than you think you’ll have. I was gonna try to draw some more but I never found time… isn’t that nuts? Two weeks and all I have is the shadow of a sketch of Adam. =( Oh well. The last few weeks of summer call, and then there’s the entire school year (which I seem to be most productive during, in terms of drawing) to draw… and I’m gonna check out the photobucket thing to see if anything’s wrong with it. Is Ingrid back yet? I forgot how long she said she’d be gone… well big fat hugs and bussies to you all, missed you a bunch!!! =DDDDD it’s good to be back, I’m looking forward to 7th grade… I get to see all the puny 6th graders pee their pants from nervousness HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! I gotta go to bed, it’s after midnight here…. But I think I’ll stay on a bit longer… muahahaa.. HUGS!!! ^^

WOW Sushi what a fun packed time you had. How FUN is Disneyland!!!!!!! I went in the summer of 02 before we moved to France. Get this, my poor daughters had never been at all until then. My oldest had her 17th birthday there and my youngest was 12. How sad is that. BUT they were able to have a great time and I didn't have to worry about crying toddlers. Space mountain was my very favorite, but now I'm worried that they changed it. Did it say when they shut it down for repairs? I really hope that it isn't like the one in Disneyland Paris. That one jostled your head sooo much, that I thought I would not recover from a headache. Does it now have more of a restraint around the head? I really hope they didn't change it too much, because I loved it when we went in 2002. We are going to try and go next summer with my sister and her three children. We would go in and not leave until the fireworks were over. The Disneyland in Paris is very similar, but they allow smoking there!!!!!!!! So, there are little butts everywhere which sucks, since the one here is so clean it is freaky. I really enjoyed your summer journal. At least someone had fun this summer. Our second French guest was my daughter's friend when we lived over there. She is so spoiled that I wanted to wring her neck several times, and I really would have let her have it if it wasn't for the fact that her Parents are so nice and I really like them. They have gobs of money and she gets anything she wants. Enough said, you can get the picture. The exhcange student that was here for three weeks was the same age and she was a blast to have around, loved eveything and was polite and helpful. Now my daughter is in school and summer is over for us. This was a very weird summer ,but I had fun living vicarious through your stories Sushi!!!!!!!!! Gald to have you back and I hope you cat is feeling better.

DISNEYLAND FRICK'N ROCKS!! The most annoying thing about it is all the crying toddlers and the stupid strollers... I do not understand for the life of me why people bring their newborn kids in strollers a hundred times their size to do almost nothing except watch parades and shop. Seriously! They can't go on any rides with their tiny kids!!! It's NUTS!! grr... They didn't shut it down for repairs, they closed it to completely redo it, I'm not sure why. Maybe they thought it was too dated, or somehting weird like that. I didn't get a headache at all, you do get jostled a bit but it's your whole body instead of just your head. There's no head restraint, not even a shoulder restraint, just one of those bars you pull down to your lap. I couldn't tell you how much they changed it but everyone else who went on it before it was changed says it's a lot different but way better. We saw the fireworks really well from our hotel, it was the Coast Anaheim hotel but there was supposed to be a story with the fireworks, so we didn't get that part. =( They allow smoking through the ENTIRE park? Cause at this one there's little designated smoking areas, which is nice cause there's only two or three. Some jerks decided to smoke where you're not supposed to then dumped their butts (and their ABC gum) on the ground. Grr. Aww Oct did you not have a fun summer? Ok you need a big bear hug (I think we should trademark our bear/group hugs =P) *bigbearhugstoOct* I'm looking forward to school.. I was looking through the annual yesterday and laughing at how cheesy and different we all looked from what I remember and know, annuals are so fun!! ^^ It's gonna be great to see everyone again, I'm not too worried about homework, I didn't get too much last year. But I have moved up a grade and have different teachers, so I'll probably have more, but that's ok. =)Bounder is feeling a bit better I think, he hasn't used the litterbox and his breathing is normal. I want to get him back on dry food though, he's not used to wet food and I think that's what made him sick. The plants are a bit better too, we got our first strawberry from a plant we didn't know existed and apparently was planted on accident. If that's possible. *confused* I had a good time and liked being in Utah and California, two very cool states, but it's nice to be back to 60 degree weather and evergreen trees wherever I look... ^^ And of course it's great to be back to this site with great pictures and great people!!

Yes sushi, they allowed smoking through out the whole park,so that means that there were idiots smoking in line, then dropping the butts where ever!! So, in ours, everything is super tidy and clean and in theirs, there are little butts everywhere!! We got there real early and you can see what an impossible job it is to get all of the butts off the lawn!! In contrast, I remember when we went to ours, there was this trailer lady that fired one up and in two seconds, there was a park person telling her to put it out and then get rid of the butt. Ours is so clean that my oldest wore a white dress one day and sat down on one of the sidewalks to watch the parade. When she got up there wasn't even a hint of dirt on her dress. Her brand new flip flops were almost clean on the bottom too!! Like I said freakishly clean :) Maybe they didn't do too much to space mountain, becuase the one in Paris had a special restraint on the head neck area. That should have been a hint. Our space mountain picture from Anaheim was hilarious!!! My husband looks so funny in it. I should have bought the one of splash mountain though, because my girls sat in front and the look on their faces was just priceless!!! I think that is why my husband and I didn't take our very small kids to Disneyland,so that we could enjoy it with them and do all the rides together. So, in my opinion, I think we had more fun than all of the parents who took their kids when they were toddlers. I loved the Indiana Jones ride here but not there, it wasn't as good. I will have to say that the main castle in Paris is better though, since it is the land of castles, they did a great job! You can go in it and on the bottom of it,there is a huge dragon that breathes fire. Very nicely done. But they didn't have tinkerbell coming off on a highwire at the end of the fireworks like the one in Anahiem. It is too bad that you weren't in the park for the fireworks, becuase it really isn't that bad to leave the park at that time, and you get to see tinker bell :) Have they done anything with the part around the car racing track? I'm talking mainly about the old submarine area. You can see it on that part of the park. I went on that when I was three and that is all I remember of that trip. There was a cool mermaid with treasures and other cool underwater stuff. I was hoping that they would fix that one or do something with it.You are lucky to live in Washington! I love that state and have visited it a couple of times. Very nice people and just beautiful. I'm the type of person who would be happy as a clam with all those trees and rain. I'm weird like that. Thanks for the hug Sushi, I think I really needed it after what I have been through this summer. Glald to hear kitty is better :) my little parakeet Frankie Dee is not doing so well at the momment. He will be six in September, but I took him to the vet on Tuesday and they think he has a small growth of some kind near his bottom. So, I think his days are numbered. I will miss him a lot, since he is quite a character. He talks up a storm and mimics funny things. He also went all the way to France with us and came back, so I think he had a great life. Don't know yet if I will get another one, since he is so special. Ah well.Hugs back.

Our Splash Mountain pic was pretty good too, except that my brother was behind my dad and we couldn't see him at all... so we didn't get it. We were in the park for the very very end of the fireworks but we didn't pay much attention to them, we were trying to get away from the crowd. I didn't mind it so much but my mom was in a terrible mood right then and I don't think she's used to being in such close proximity with total strangers, I am cause the hallways during break at school are just as bad as Disneyland during fireworks... =)I don't remember anything about a submarine area?? So I couldn't answer your question... =SHihi... ^^ yeah I love Washington... I really do like the trees and the rain, because it makes Washington have a certain smell that's easy to recognize... it smells wet and soggy. =D but it's a nice smell. It's kind of annoying, all the people here act like they're allergic to rain. O.o Some of the more paranoid ones bring umbrellas to school EVERY DAY. Grr. Frankie Dee.. that's such a cool name!! ^^ Give him a super miniature hug from me cause he has a cool name and I hope he makes it... and if he doesn't give him a miniature imaginary hug cause he was a good friend of my good friend Oct... ^^ is it just me or has nobody except you been on since I got back? weird.... o well. =D

You know Sushi, for a dying bird, he sure is peppy and acting normal,so I really don't know what gives with Frankie Dee!! I have been giving him antibiotics and he is hanging in there. If he weren't so dang skinny, I would think there was nothing wrong with him. He has been singing up a storm and talking like usual. He is starting to like the medicine too. It is like the "Pink medicine kids get for ear infections that tastes like bubble gum." I know he is a tiny little Parakeet, but man does this little guy have a personality. When he was younger he would play all kinds of games with the kids it was amazing, and people wouldn;t believe me until they saw him. Anyway, I hope he hangs in there a bit longer, but I don't want him to suffer.I think it is just you me and occasionaly zk that have been on. I have no idea where Soulcat would be ???? I miss her. The other usual suspects haven't been on either :( Where are you guys! Sushi and I are waiting here for you all. When does school start for you Sushi?

holy god, you ppl here are there really to bully me isnt it?I returned from holidays, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO POST SUCH LONG AND SO MANY POSTS :( I'm dying here.. Update on Frankie Dee....Holding his own and actually very peppy. I don't know if you remember me saying on other posts a while back, that Frankie Dee loves U2! I know everyone will be rolling their eyes about now, but soon as I turn on anything from them, he bobs up and down and whistles up a storm. Son as the video or song is over so is he :) Very Funny!!!! He may have something, but he is doing fine so far. Maybe the antibiotis are buying him a bit of time, I don't know.I had to laugh the other day about what happened to me. Remember when we had the posts on how young I look for my age? Friday I was at the store and this clerk, who was a girl, asked if my daughter and I were sisters. I was with my youngest who is 15. I laughed and said no, I was her mom. The girl just stopped and said "NO WAY" She said I could swear you were 24!! I said try 42!! She was stunned. I thought by the time I turned 40 this would stop but it still goes on. I think I look my age,but I guess others don't. I was also carded at the same store when I bought some wine. Good genes I guess. Sorry Ingrid about all the long posts, but you see Sushi was having a fun summer, and telling us all about it. While I was not having a fun summer and the only fun thing to do was to check these posts and comment. Gald you are back though, now we just need Soulcat to make it complete. At least Kat is here too. I won't go on too long, so Ingrid won't have to read anymore long posts:)
From: Kat on 2005-08-28 21:24:07
Don't worry Ingrid, you're not alone!! My attention span is so short I can barely finish reading one of the mile long posts!! lol. I'm the opposite to you with the age thing Oct, I've always been told that I look older than I am.. I remember, I was in the optitcians, getting new glasses, and I must've only been 11, and the woman in the store told me that I must always wear them when I'm driving!! lmao.. I remember I was that young, because ever since then I've had to wear glasses all the time, so she wouldn't have told me that.. but I have contact lenses, so it's ok being blind!YES! I am here!! See! lol, can you tell then my bands drummer and guitarist are on holiday??!! hahaha, nah, I'd surely be here anyway, you're Adam, Trumpet Trouser Man suggestions keep me coming back for more! :D *hugs to all*

Omg is it possible for me to have MORE reasons to love him?? =D I wish my cat likes U2... *gasp* i don't think he's ever heard them before tho... =O *runs to put U2 on the cd player*LOL Oct thats too good, but I'm afraid i'm with Kat... I was at a ski resort where if you're 16 and under, you get a kids pass which is cheaper than an adults pass... so I was at a ski lift, the lady who checks your lift pass looked at me funny and asked when i was born, I told her 1992, and she looked at me like a total jerk but okayed me for the lift... She mustve thought that I was older than sixteen or something and that i stole a kids pass. O.o speaking of the people here or not here, where's Slate and Tanja? And Lucia and Fanny... no wait didn't i see her the other day... ??? ive lost my mind, oh well!!lol, hugs to everyone that is here... sushi luffs you!! ^^

It's a beta fish, or at least I think thats what i´t's called. =D Thanks for all your suggestions, but the name bono wins, just because my mom already stared calling him that. hahah its sounds kind of funny. Yes Sushi, you were right about Frankie Dee's diagnosis. He is still OK so far and it is a real hoot to give him the antibiotics. I have to capture him in his cage, then wrap him up like a little hot dog and make him take the medicine from a tiny syringe!! He is so use to it now that he doesn't fight it anymore and sucks it down. I have to give it to him until Friday. Then after that who knows what will happen. He is still singing and playing though. Maybe I should fire up the cd player with some U2 for Frankie Dee.
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-30 20:19:43
well, get well soon frankie dee!
From: sushi on 2005-08-30 20:50:02
KZ is the person who recorded the videos, it's his/her nickname or initials, I guess. OH YAY INGRID you go play that guitar rock out girl woot! There's this website that shows you what the chords are, where to put your fingers and whatnot, chordfind.com... it's pretty cool! then there are some other sites that explain what tab is and how to read it, just google in tab or tablature or something like that. =)Oct that sounds like capturing Frankie Dee is super fun... haha! Play lots of U2 for him!! =)hugs...

Hey guys, did everyone stay up late,The Americans on here, to watch the Saturday Night Live with U2? It was fun, but it already played in November. It was still fun to watch again. Right before he went on stage to play ,and before they went to comercial, you could see Bono with his foot perched up on the side of the stage tying his huge souled shoes. Kind of funny to see him. It looked like a little kid on a play ground getting ready to play, and making sure his shoes were tied. They played Vertiog first, then Sometimes you can make it on your own. Then and old one Running .....I think and then they started playing All becuase of you and they were cut off since it was the end of the show. I don't know if you guys from Europe are familliar with Saturday Night Live, but it is on very late on Sat. and they are adult skits. when he sang SYCMIOYO, the whole band seemed very emotional and Bono added a few words to the end ,but I couldn't make out what he sang.Bono and Edge went into the audience and also Bono played with the TV camera and put his face up close and swung it around. Funny :)

Ii'm going to start a rumor here that may or may NOT be true, but I have slight and I do mean slight feeling that U2 will be possibly playing at Oprah's studio. Here is why I think this. I watched the other day where she keeps hyping up the new season opener, and she said that this was soooo big that they had to redecorate the studio for it. NOW... U2 will be in Chicago playing on the 20th/21st of Sept. Her new season starts on the 19th of Sept. I have a feeling she is inviting them to play there. Of course Bono has already been there on his own. But I could swear I saw ever so quickly when they were hyping up the program, some red lighting and such........Who's with me thinking this in the U.S. ??? This isn't 100% certainty, but the dates coincide. Wouldn't that be fun :) Last year she gave the whole audience a brand new car. I don't know how she would top that, but having the boys on would be pretty big I think.
From: sushi on 2005-09-05 20:48:28
Positive, with a Capital P, I'm Going to Start capitalizing Every Word I say! xDNo Oct, I don't know why, but we don't even have NBC, ABC or anything like that... :'(RUMOR I LOVE RUMORS HAHA I can't help it I suppose it's just the teenager in me *dies laughing*Oct that's incredibly intriguing... U2 on Oprah!! Speaking of TV shows, you know that show that the boys were so funny on, I think it was a German show, in Gelsenkirchen... the one where Bono says "you have to have balls to shake them"... do you know where I can see that? I saw it once but wasn't really paying attention.. so I want to watch it again =)
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-05 20:55:01

There is that word again. I'm sure they don't use that in Delft, where did you pick up the word "Awesome?" Sorry, but this word jsut mekes me instantly angry. It seems to be used by super cheesy people here in the US and I've noticed it now mre than ever since we moved back from Europe.I'm still holding out hope that they will be on Oprah. The dates coincide, but who knows. I'm just hoping. I mean, they will be in town to start the concert on the 20th/21st, so maybe she got them to do her show on the 19th. I do hope I'm right.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-07 18:12:38
well, Iono, it's just a word to use here... I guess from Finding Nemo, the turtle says in a stoned wayL Toooootally aaaawesoome duuuuuuuude... that's quite cool piece.. Anywayz we have oprah here, but I have no Idea what season it is or w/e... is oprah also online to see?
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-07 19:38:46
You can go to www.oprah.com.But I haven't seen anything posted yet,as it is suppose to be a surprise. She did that last season, when she surprised everyone in the audience with a brand new car. Awesome, WAS, used a long time ago with Surfers in southern California. Then it got into main streamspeaking. I have noticed though that the people that say it are nerdy city. Like middleaged people trying to be hip. I have justt had that experience, maybe everyone else thinks I'm being harsh, but I think we could do with out that word.

I think you can put as many as you want on here. I think though when they start up again on Monday, there may be some new ones. But then again the European ones are much better than the ones we posted on here from the U.S. Lets hope for some good ones. Soulie, Are you bringing you camera in November. You are going to be closer than I will be, so maybe you should :)
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-10 18:32:13
oohhh I'm so curious for monday, will they use the bomb shelter again or the two Bstages? will they use the light curtains or the screens? will they change the setlist back to the american one, leave it this way, or make a total new one?(I BET the last!:) and will bono wear a new jacket? ^^ or just no jacket at all?
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-10 19:03:09
I saw what the set will look like. Last night they were on doing a song for the hurrican fund, and they were doing it from Toronto where they will be playing on Monday. It looks the same as before. The red eliptical stage where they run around or shoul I say Bono runs around. I just wonder if they will have different out fits?
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-10 19:06:16
I vote for soulie to sneak in and Break the airco!!!!!! I want a repeat of Copenhagen(01)!!! but I wonder why the stage in america was a bomb shelter(and is now) and in europe it was diff.. oh and I wonder how the bono-crowd interaction will be, will he be as sexy as he is in europe? btw on elevation live from milano I heard bono saying things first, and after that like: Flirting is okay, Flirting IS okay!! I bet he pulled some wicked face there.. ghehehe
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-10 19:09:57
Ingrid I think it is different from Europe because they are ALL indoor concerts and they are just set up different. There was an article that said that U2 were on of the very few bands that can do out door concerts and make them intimate. That is pretty neat huh?! I hope they rested enought to go for it big time over here again!!!

It will be interesting to see how the Tronto show does this evening. by my clock it should be in full swing!!!Ya, where the heck did Soulcat go? She made an apperance and poof, gone again :(I'm cheating on my guys a tiny bit at the end of this month. I'm going with my sis to see Green Day. Only while I wait for November when our pals will return. I'm also looking for some tickets for my favorite Violin player, her name is Hilary Hawn!! Amazing girl. So I will go from PunkRock to Just Rock, to some Classical all compacted this Fall.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 15:14:44
lol I kinda hate greenday.. okay their last song is decent.. but they're anoying... lol the quest to get soulie back Round 2. starts...
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-13 18:33:36
Do you not like Green day because of being punks or just don't like their music? This last album is great. They are also from the San Francisco Bay area,so I have to support the local boys. i'm sure my sister and I will be really out of place there, but it will be fun to see that kind of a crowd versus U2. I certainly don't like them over U2, nor do I think they are even close. My sister invited me for my Birthday and I said to myself, "What the heck" So you don't like the song "Good Ridence" most kids your age in the States love that song and they end up using it at the end of the year in graduations etc.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 18:53:53
hm I don't exactly know that song... I don't like them because most of their music(except wake me up when september ends, I actually like that one a little) is more pop-rock than punkrock.. and they try to be sooo evil, so bad, so punk.. but they're not! same with good charlotte..
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-13 19:48:19
Ingrid, I don't think you have the true picture of Green day. Since they are local here to Berkeley, I think I know about them a bit more than you do.First off the lead singer "Billy Joe" is a devoted father and husband and I don't think he or they try and act evil. Now Sid Vicious is evil, but not Billy Joe. Our man Bono loves Greenday and there are some cute pictures of them together at a party. I think you have the wrong picture of them and I don't think they are POP punk at all!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 20:00:30
well it's my opinion, and that's the vieuw we have from them here in holland.. how they act in video's and such.. since we don't know them
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-13 20:18:27
Ya, you can't tell much by their video, about who they really are. It wasn't until I saw that Documentary on them that I really learned a lot. I changed my opinion of them, since I'm not into Punk rock per se
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 20:27:29
lol u2 themselve say they're punkrock... ghehe...
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-13 20:32:39
They started out that way early on, but I don't think they think that anymore
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 20:37:29
I've never really seen them like that.. punkrock are more bands like Korn, Linkin park and such.... U2 is more, uh Emo rock... *sniff* the ZooTv show is allmost over... god I LOVED macphisto's act... and the phonecall to the united nations... away for lunch, leave your country after the beep..
From: Mariëtte on 2005-09-13 20:39:06
Linkin Park and Korn aren't punkbands, they're Hardrock bands, Punk bands are Pennywise, Boy Sets fire, The Offspring and more
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 20:59:56
LP HARDROCK? LOL.. no way man!
From: mariëtte on 2005-09-13 21:10:37
Ok, LP is not really hard rock, it's rock and hiphop and rap, but...mm I'm a big fan of LP...Anyway, it's absolutly NOT punk
From: mariëtte on 2005-09-13 21:12:04
btw, thanks for laughing me out...:S
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-13 21:18:25
it's laughing AT somebody, same as I'm doing with poor adam and bono now... I found this site with pictures of the early days... THAT HAIR!!! ITS WILD!!!http://coverarchive.u2site.com/gallery.php?display=video%2Fdvds%2F01-boy%2F1981-05-15-SanFrancisco-OutOfControlInSanFrancisco-Front.jpg&non_lr=1 <-- Cute edge bono moment for slate~!and uh I'm a LP fan also, and meteora wasnt so much punk, but the early albums surely were punkrock!
From: mariëtte on 2005-09-13 21:58:28
Ok ok, it's allright then...and I know my English is not good:(
From: Ingrid has BonoxEdge pic for slate from the early days! on 2005-09-14 20:58:19
I know, it was just the dutch thing, then translated... the good thing for me is that I'm an english nerd...since last year*especially since I discovered U2* I started to like english more and more.. and I think it's even my fave subject now.. wow, u2 is good for my education!! they should let us translate lyrics in english class, now that would be cool!
From: mariëtte on 2005-09-14 21:18:05
My fave subject is English too, I like it so much that I want to move to a country where they speak English, England or Ireland ;). But, eventhough I like it, won't say that I'm good in English :(
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-14 21:25:11
IRELAND! duh, who want's to go to england when you have the chance of going to Ireland...I just watched the Culture show again(I got it on mp3file..) and I couldn't stop watching at bono's shades, it were the green ones, but a tint brighter than the other ones.. maybe it was because of the light there...and adam was doing the thing with his hands again he also did in Rattle and hum.. and larry wasnt impersonating him.. oh and boomie, He wasnt biting his nails...now listening to Stay Live from Dublin ZooTv tour 93.. bono said fuckin with his deep hawt voice.. it sounds funny when he says it, iono why but it does^^
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-15 01:27:05
Ingrid, it isn't "I couldn't stop watching at bono's shades" it would be written " I couldn't stop looking at bono's shades." You english is good though. I couldn't could even begin to speak or write in Dutch. So, keep up the good work.
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-15 01:28:01
Oh and I laughed at you saying Korn was Punk and LP!! not so. I was listening to Greeday in the car today and I still don't understand why you think they are acting evil!!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-15 20:59:10
I didn't mean exactly evil, I'm just terrible in putting my thoughts into words, altho I'm more thinking in english than dutch lately... but I meant that they look that way, with the makeup and stuff.. they try to lose their innocense and Iono.. it looks, wrong... but forget about it, it's just my stupid opinion....
From: boomcha on 2005-09-16 12:20:39
Ingrid youre killing me!!!! this biting thing gets toooooo far!And i like the early Edge pics....I would have fallen in love with him even then!!! HES the REAL THING!!!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-16 16:54:17
okay boomie I have to admit... edge's text before I still haven't found on Rattle and Hum dvd... he is SO cute there! and the 'music can be so boring, so conservative, so predictable.. sometimes you feel like doing something that isnt on scedule' thingy... he's very cute there... I love his looks with Hair.......
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-16 19:20:57
I think Mr The Edge is so much better as a mature man. He needed to grow into his looks. Now he is quite dashing and I love his eyes.Ingrid, do you know how old Green Day guys really are? I'm not sure what you meant by innocence, but they are in their thirties,so I think most of their innocence is long gone :) I kind of like Billy Joe's eye makeup :)
From: ingrid on 2005-09-16 19:34:34
I know they're old, but they try to look young.. and I don't like male make-up.. but let's get to a more positive thing... since this isn't about green dauy, it's about our hero with the nice vertigo pose here !

Hey Sushi, I forgot to give you an update on Frankie Dee. He is STILL hanging in there. You can tell he is still not well, but that little guy refuses to pack it in. He has bouts where he plays like normal then I see him all fluffed again and asleep. I know he isn't getting better, but I still can't believe he is alive. Usually birds die really quick when they get an illness.

happy that your birdy is still alive oct... my dad told me this morning that our kitten(1 year and 5days) got under a car last night... she's gone...finito, over, pushing up the daisies, six feet under DEAD! she was ONE year old.... that's just not fair! We also have a 7 yo cat, shes cool and stuff, but they could never get along with each other.. but I'll miss the sleeping kitten on my face, waking me up in the mornign with MEOOOWO meeooooow and scratching my door, my carpet and whatever shit she did... okay this is getting too emo... ><
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-19 20:21:31
Aww Ingrid, sorry to hear of your cat. Animals are so darling, that when they pass it is just so sad:( Ya, Frankie Dee has a will to live that won't quit!! I keep thinking every morning that when I uncover him that will be it, but there he is. Ye was singing a lot yesterday and talking. My favorite word that he says is "Nerdballish" We taught him that fake word years ago and he said it the other day. He also says" bayish bird" Bay being short for baby. It is so clear that it is very funny. I'm trying to enjoy the time I have left with him.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-20 15:19:27
lols at nerdballish! I love that word!well, it's strange.. but the kitten allways was more like, my sis cat.. and the old one mine.. well and my sis is broken.. yesterday she couldn't go to school, couldnt sport... and she was crying because I didn't seem to care in the night.. but Iono, I gave it a place... and she's dead, yeah, and I can't change it, so why should I cry about it if it doesnt make any difference? and I think it takes me more time to get close with someone or something than others.. but iono.. I'm confused by this a little.. I seem to be a little careless..
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-20 17:52:25
Ingrid, I'm glad you like my word Nerdballish. It was explained on here a while back, but you may not have seen it. It is a made up word that is a combination of Nerd and cornball.....cornball meaning cheesy? Do you understand cheesy? and well nerd is nerd. So for a while my daughters and I were trying to get it said all over the place to see how far it would travel. So now that you have heard it,pass it on to your fellow students in Delft and I will be happy to know that it is now in the Netheralnds :) We have tried to pass it along in France, but we aren't sure they got the concept. So, it may be dead in the water over there, unless ZK decideds to help out.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-20 20:07:27
delft?? woah you're confusing me with someone else! I live near amsterdam.... ^^ but I'll spread it.. I'll ask if my english teacher knows the word.. gheheh but he's sick..

I guess I NEED soulie to get me a story, then I'll draw it... or maybe you have any Idea? it could be realistic, but also I love the baby u2 cartoons! okay not real babies, hey maybe I can do something about them being babies or so... 8-)

Oct oh my lord I have been trying to think of good comic ideas allll month... here's the ones I've thought of:The iPod is the sexiest object since the electric guitar, and U2 has their own. But what about the Nano? Is it sexier?A play on their name, i.e. "I love you too" "I KNOW YOU DO STOP TELLING ME THAT I HATE HEARING ABOUT U2 YOU NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM!!"Reciting U2 lyrics accidentally while you're listening to them and talking to someone at the same timeBono meets his counterparts (Li'l Bono, Stick Bono, James Bono)Adam's farting problemJames BonoI really have to start drawing soon if I want to enter a comic.. but I don't know how the stories will progress and whatnot, I need to pick an idea to draw!! I need some input, which idea do you guys like best? If there's any questions or uncertainties about ideas, like you don't know exactly what I mean, I'd be happy to answer.. THANKS!!! =)

I wonder if bono EVER sung the part right with the desparation, dislocation, Separation, condemnation, Revelation,in temptation, Isolation, desolation thing... he didnt in R&H, not on this one... and the Live brazil version I saw.. not that it matters, since he still is thee best!

okay sorry for the last TWO posts>< I screwed up... well today I was having Biology(boring) and Love and peace came on my mp3player... and I got THEE idea for the atu2.com achtoon baby contest! maybe soulie would like to help me make a good story of it, or anyone else who can help me... but this is the idea roughly...It's because of bonos new speecha bout edge being alien^^Bono adam and larry are walking trough the woods, somewhere north of dublin.. suddenly they hear an intriguing sound, and they want to find out what it is.. somewhere in a clearing in the woods they see alot of lights... and a spaceship lands... They approach it, a little scared, btw adam carries his bass with him, he didn't want to laeve without it... and larry has his drumsticks with him... and well, the door opens... Edge walks out strumming the first notes of Out Of Control..... the other boys react on the mystic sounds of his Gibson Explorer, adam takes his bass and makes some notes, larry grabs his sticks and starts drumming on some rocks and treestumps and stuff.. and bono starts singing.. it's not very much, but just an idea... I need also a good end, and I need to hurry up since I only have a week to make it and scan it in... somebody help me please^^
