From: Susanne on 2005-10-25 18:20:09
Yes, these boys look very sweet and a bit excited, I think (well who can blame them?).

I wonder what they felt to be on stage...they should not know that much about u2 coz they're kids! :-)
From: Octu2 on 2005-10-25 19:42:45
you never know, they might have an obsessed mom or dad of U2 and they know more than we think :) My daughter is sick of my obsession sometimes!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-25 19:51:59
oh my obsession never tires me! hehe well oct, I'm sure these two boys won't mind their parent's obsession... cmon, theyve been onstage with Bono himself!!!! if they won't become u2 fans in the future, well, well, that's just unthinkable!!
From: Octu2 on 2005-10-25 19:57:19
Oh no, I'm sure these kids will be on a u2 high for a while since they were up there. my daughter was on a high with me when we saw them in April, and was a Larry girl, but now she thinks I'm nuts. She still likes them, just not as obsessed like me.

Awe so sweet...luv the look on both their faces..... this is the next generation lifers..... hope they keep those shirts as keepsakes.....30 years from now they'll drag 'um out and say to their grandkids..."LOOK AT THIS"....lol...grrr

I would love to take my daughter to a U2 concert! She is only 6 and not quite ready for the loud crowd, but she loves the music. You should hear her sing Elevation from the back seat in her booster chair. It's a riot. Hopefully she will be ready by their next tour.

The father of the two boys tells his story on u2tours.com. Click the Pittsburg review.

You would be suprised how much the kids listen to them! I went with my son and we wound up in the front row how awesome and these two were star struck as well as my son!

Every one loves the boys, I have told you how perky my little bird gets soon as I have them on. He is still hanging in there(Sick with cancer) and yesterday I put on Vertigo for him and he chirped a lot!!

LUCIA... AHEM!! These boys look about my age, maybe just a year or so younger.. and think bout how much I know.. *nods* Yes.. yes, thank you..*sushi gasps and faints on the floor with a BANG* Oct are you telling me our wonderful Frankie Dee is still alive?! OOHHHH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! That's soo sweet.. it seems our little Frankie Dee has the ultimate will to live through it.. heeehee.. That's wonderful that he recognized the boys.. I suppose its a good thing to keep a sick birdie like him awake and aware of his surroundings. I've never noticed if my cat likes the boys.. and i never did pay attention to my fish while U2 was on, haha! ^^
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-27 13:01:56
errrr sushi you were 13 right??? cuz then I conclude you are TERRIBLE in guessing ages, these two bro's are 8 and 9 years old fyi... ^^ hehe their father said that in his revieuw.... hmm I really wasn't into music at that age, but I can remember Discothéque, oh boy I can! the first time I re-saw that vid I was like... woah that was the vid I sang loudly with when I was 9 or so... (me and a friend of mine, with the tv on, we lolled alot with that, and britney spears/backstreet boys stuff... Bsb actually HAD decent songs, I rreallly don't like their new stuff.. especially when they're making fun of Thee Mullet!!!)

Thanks you all for your kind comments. Those lucky boys are my sons and they ARE HUGE U2 fans - way before that surreal night in Pittsburgh. Everyone thought we were crazy taking them to the show at 8 & 9 yrs. old, but we knew they would love it; of course we never imagined it would be that great! We still hope to get our hands on some video of the event someday? And, we have to get our 3 yr. old daughter to a show someday - hang in there Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam....

We had the time of our lives!!!! Our family Christmas card is going to be a photo of us on stage with the band - pretty cool, huh?p.s. We only yawned during the Jamaican band with the flag waving man.
