yeppa there's something with both his eyes, but his right eye is worst... when he not wears his shades, and someone flashes a camera on him, he sees the flash for the rest of the day, and his right I swells up.. it really sounds bad, and prolly means we won't see him alot with his shades off:(

hmmm but it's only when flashed, so if I ever meet him, and thats a BIG IF there.... Miroslava...those are beautiful pictures...I never saw such beautiful, peaceful pictures of bono!!! How do you always manage to get his attention!!! My only good "Bono-Story" is that back on the elevation tour in montreal, he had a sore throat and he was drinking something in a styrofoam cup. His security guard put the cup on the floor in front of me, and of course I bent over the gate and took it...it was tea and honey. Everyone around me was like "ewww you're not gonna drink that...you dunno what's in there..." well 4 yrs later i'm still here and that cup is in one piece...closest i've come to bono's DNA!

The things this band makes us do! Sleeping in tents, standing around lines for hours at the time, stealing cups! :D Totally worth it though...As far as the attention stuff... Honestly, I think the more you look like you're TRYING to get their attention, the least like you are to succeed. Most of my "moments" or whatever have been totally unexpected. I am just there minding my business jumping up and down and singing along and then "poof" something really cool happens. Other moments have been aided by signs or whatever, but again, it's not like I've been with my arms up in the air for the entire show shoving the signs in their faces. Just look for the opportune moment, flash the sign and voila! I guess it also helps that I am about a head taller than a lot of the people around me :P Can't miss the tall goofy thing jumping up and down and smiling ear to ear :D

Nah, I'm 5'10" but I jump really high! :P And it's funny, everyone keeps asking me for help with their signs, but I dont think I am any good at making signs for other people... I just kind of know what MAY work for me and have gotten really lucky, but it's not like there is an exact science. I think what is most important is that the sign holder feels comfortable :D

You girls are too damn cute and nice... However, I did NOT introduce the Flamenco dancing to it... He was already doing it when they first performed Fast Cars in Toronto. I saw them perform it for Toronto 3 and 4. It just so happened that the next time they performed it was in Chicago 9/21 and that time he had me as a partner and I might have shown him a new move or two, but it was all his doing! :D

Actually, it was really thick...it was a bit yucky but who cares i was drinking out of bono's cup!!! My boyfriend thought i was crazy when i told him the story, but in march, we were at a velvet revolver concert (most of the ex members of guns n roses) and we were front row in front of SLASH!. (i'm sure you all know who slash is)...so slash of course is smoking the whole way thru the concert and threw his cigarette on the floor...my boyfriend asked the security guard to give him the cigarette and he did! He was like "oh my God i'm smoking slash's cigarette. Now i know why you took the cup!" I always wanted to bring the cup to a lab to see if we can analyze the DNA (OMG I'm a freak!)

Ingrid , Slash is a guy in a heavy metal band. He has bushy long hair and a top hat. Cynthia sounds like my sister who saw Billy Idol and she was in front row. He was sweating heavily and the sweat went flying on her. She didn't take a shower the next day and when the sweat landed on her she put some of it in her mouth.

Of course, that concert was on May 28, 2001. I was at the tip of the heart, she wasn't too far from me, and that's the show i stole the cup! Then i saw here again in october (the 12th precisely) at the 3rd montreal show to congratulate her getting up on stage! That's was crazy, he was on top of her, all over her!!! man i was freaking out when i saw that...he went nuts on her!!! I didn't know about the car story...dammit, why can't i get to ride in his car! all i get is lousy cup and a grab of his knee!!! (i know i shouldn't complain, but after being at 10 shows either front row or at the tip, i expected to be pulled up by now!!!)

well.. she did look alot like the wife... maybe you should've made a sign! well... at least you go to shows.. you touched HIM... you tasted something His lips have touched! that's far more than I'll ever have!
