U2's Montreal #4 setlist, 17/06
Today U2 performed the final show of their four-night stand in Montreal. This is the first time U2 have ever played four concerts in Montreal on a single tour.
There is a report that the band soundchecked The Crystal Ballroom today. It is yet to be performed live, and unfortunately did not appear in tonight's setlist.
Stuck in a Moment was performed tonight for only the second time on tour, returning after an absence of seven shows. It was preceded by Elevation, performed for the third time on tour and back after missing two shows. It was not on the printed setlist, but replaced When Love Comes To Town. Out Of Control was played after missing one show. During Pride, Bono drew attention to the plight of Raif Badawi, an author and activist held prisoner in Saudi Arabia.
At the end of City Of Blinding Lights, Bono spotted a Quebec flag and sang part of Gens Du Pays, an unofficial anthem of Quebec. He could not remember the lyrics so the crowd took over and sung it enthusiastically. The concert closed with 40, which had not been played for six shows; this is its third performance of the tour. It was dedicated to the six people killed - and their grieving Irish relatives - in yesterday's tragic Berkeley balcony collapse.
