Edge and Adam perform at fan party
Today, two members of U2 did something very cool. Fellow fansite @U2 were celebrating their twentieth anniversary at The Cutting Room in New York when Edge and Adam (and Edge's guitar tech, Dallas Schoo) crashed the party.
The tribute band Unforgettable Fire were performing their set when Edge and Adam joined them on stage for two songs. First was Where The Streets Have No Name, and it was followed by Out Of Control. Our database listing for this show is here.
It appears that the lads kept @U2 in the dark, organising the surprise directly with the venue. No doubt @U2 will have more details when they have the chance to come back to earth, so keep an eye out for that.
This appearance comes the night before the final two shows of the first leg of the Innocence + Experience Tour. Between this special appearance and the live resurrection of Two Hearts Beat As One a couple of days ago, the band have been busy springing surprises this week. Will we see any more before the month is done?
