Today U2 performed in Antwerp, Belgium, their first of two concerts in the city. This was their first performance in the city since 6 August 2001, way back on the second leg of the Elevation Tour, when they debuted the enigmatic We Love You, a yet unreleased song that has only been played on that one occasion. There were no unreleased songs played tonight, but The Electric Co. and One both returned to the set after missing one show. Sweetest Thing was performed for the first time in four nights, having last appeared at Barcelona 1. During City of Blinding Lights Bono pulled a young girl, Leanne, on stage who sang along with him (but not into the microphone), and she remained on stage for Beautiful Day.
