On today's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel announced that U2 will appear on his show next week to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of The Joshua Tree.

The performance will take place on Tuesday 23 May, between the second Pasadena show on 21 May and the Houston gig on 24 May. At this stage we do not know if U2 will just chat or perform any songs, but atu2 report a rumour that U2 will play two songs live.
