More U2 shows added—this time in North America as well as Europe
The extra Experience + Innocence Tour dates keep coming.
On the European leg, Milan has received a third show. This will take place on 15 October.
And, amid the flurry of European dates, there is also good news for fans across the pond in New York. A sixth New York-area show has been added to the North American leg—a third Madison Square Garden date (a venue U2.com continues to describe in the plural as "Gardens"). This show will take place on 1 July. The rumour mill suggests this will be the last night of the leg, but that additional shows might be added to fill gaps within the schedule. But for now that is rumour only.
Presale details are available from U2.com's tour page. General sales for these shows, and those announced yesterday, take place on Friday, 2 February. Check the local retailer for precise times.
These two new shows take the Experience + Innocence Tour to a total of 52 shows, exceeding the 51 played on the Joshua Tree 2017 Tour. But the total is still a fair way short of the 76 played during 2015 on the Innocence + Experience Tour.
