An announcement from U2gigs.com
Those of us here at U2gigs.com would like to announce a new addition to the site's features, as well as the expansion of a current feature. Both are designed to enhance your use of the site and provide the best, clearest setlist information on the web.
Previously, the site solely displayed snippets in the setlist, beside the song in which the snippet appeared. Now, you have a choice: as long as you accept cookies from U2gigs.com, you can choose to view snippets below the setlist. At any time, you may switch back to displaying snippets in the setlist. To change your viewing option, please visit this page (also linked from below every setlist), which also displays examples of the two possible setlist viewing options.
In addition, we have expanded the range of data on individual song pages. As you may already know, if you visit the page for a specific setlist, you can click on the name of any song and see a list of all concerts it has been played or snippeted at. We have now enhanced these lists, with the most notable change being the separation of full performances and snippets. If a song has been both played in full and snippeted, the dates it was snippeted appear below the list of full performances - no more reading 40's concert list and accidentally thinking it was performed in full on the Elevation Tour! As well as this, if a song has been played more than once in a concert, the amount of total plays and total concerts are shown separately, and concerts featuring multiple performances are noted in the list of dates.
We believe that these changes are informative and enhance the useability of U2gigs.com and we hope you do too. Please do not hesitate to offer feedback - we welcome all comments and suggestions from our visitors.
Regards,
Macphisto (Webmaster) and Axver (Setlistorian)
