Today's show fell on the eve of the death of John Lennon on 8 December 1980, and as expected, the concert prominently featured Lennon/Beatles references and covers, including another appearance by Instant Karma!, Norwegian Wood performed solo by Bono, and a snippet of Help after One to close the main set.
