U2 to play on Letterman
U2.com have just announced that U2 are going to play on the Late Show with David Letterman. But this isn't just a one-off appearance. It will last for the whole week of No Line On The Horizon's release. The band will appear on the show every night from Monday the 2nd of March to Friday the 6th. For those of you in the US, Letterman's show is broadcast on CBS from 11:35pm. For the rest of us, U2gigs will naturally keep you updated on what the band played and footage will surely spread far and wide across the Internet.
See U2.com's announcement here. As a historical aside, U2 previously took a break from the Elevation Tour's third leg to appear on Letterman's show on 29 October 2001. On that occasion, they played New York and Stuck In A Moment.
