U2 to play for Comic Relief
You were probably starting to think all of U2's performances on UK television and radio had been announced. The coming week has a number of appearances, then the band head across the Atlantic to play on Letterman and Good Morning America. Well, they are coming back to play another time in the UK - on Adam's 49th birthday, no less. On the 13th of March, Red Nose Day, Comic Relief are taking over the BBC. This includes a special one-off edition of Top Of The Pops between 10pm-10:30 on BBC Two. This will feature a performance by U2, as well as Oasis, and Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones will play their Comic Relief single.

Update 27/02: Evidently the band aren't quite playing on Adam's birthday after all. After performing on Jonathan Ross's show on 26/02, the band were taped playing Get On Your Boots for this event. Tune in on 13/03 to see the broadcast of this performance!
