On tonight's episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, U2 played Crazy Tonight. This is the song's live debut, and the fifth song from the new album to be performed - although only the fourth to be performed publicly, as the two current listings for No Line On The Horizon in our database were both at the band's Dublin studios. One was for the Culture Show taping and the other was a private concert for three fans.
During Crazy Tonight, Bono threw a brief "come on, Eileen!" reference in during Edge's solo. You can watch the performance on YouTube:
In additional news, tomorrow night's episode will feature an interview with the band as well as a performance; since the Friday episode has already been taped, tomorrow will be the band's last actual appearance on the show.
