Today, the Irish media has begun reporting on a third U2 concert at Croke Park. Dublin newspaper the Evening Herald has run a story in its print edition called "Ticket hope for fans as U2 add third date" by Melanie Finn, confirming the third show for 27 July 2009. According to this article, ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, 1st of April; no mention is made of presales.

U2.com currently have not confirmed this date, nor has the newspaper article yet been reproduced on Herald.ie.

Update: The Irish Times has seconded this news. See the last item of the In Short section, which adds tickets will go on sale at 8am on the 1st of April.
