U2's Perth #2 setlist, 19/12
Tonight, U2 performed their second of two shows in Perth. Over two nights in Perth, U2 played to more people than on their three previous visits combined. This show was the last show of the 360° Tour's fourth leg, and U2's last concert for 2010.
In the middle of the main set, the band performed three songs from Rattle And Hum in a row. The first two songs were All I Want Is You and Love Rescue Me, both appearing for just the second time this tour; in fact, this is just the second performance of Love Rescue Me in almost 21 years. Love Rescue Me was not in fact in the original setlist and was performed only in an abbreviated form. The third song was Desire; despite being performed a couple of times off-tour this year, this was its first 2010 performance at a 360° Tour concert and it was played by the full band. As far as 360° Tour concerts go, Desire was last played as part of a medley with She's The One on 23 September 2009, or if we stick to stand-alone performances, then 31 July 2009.
Bono sung a verse of Party Girl before Moment Of Surrender in response to a shouted request from the audience. New Year's Day was rotated back into the setlist after missing one show, and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me was rotated back in after missing two. There was some drizzle around, and Bono dutifully obliged with the now-expected rain snippets.
The full setlist was:
