Today, U2 performed their third and last show in Sao Paulo, also their last show of the South American leg. Up next is Mexico City's first show on 11 May. Before today's show, U2 did a soundcheck that included Zooropa, City Of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, Mercy, and Mysterious Ways.

Unlike in Argentina, where at the third show Even Better Than The Real Thing was removed from the opening position, tonight it held on to the opener's slot. Zooropa retained its place in the setlist, being performed for just the fifth time ever after its astonishing resurrection at the last show. I Will Follow and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me were rotated back into the setlist after both missing the previous show. One surprise in the middle of the setlist was an acoustic cover a Kraftwerk song, Das Model, performed with Brazilian musician Seu Jorge.

This show was broadcast live on radio in South America and streamed online for U2.com subscribers. The full setlist was:
