U2 to perform on Italian TV
The Songs of Innocence promotional tour appears to be under way! With the physical version of the album about to drop (in some countries, e.g. Australia, as soon as this Friday), many fans expected the band to start making some live appearances on radio and television. That instinct was right on the money.
On Sunday the 12th of October, U2 will appear on Italian talkshow Che Tempo Che Fa, hosted by Fabio Fazio. It was announced on Twitter here. The show airs on Italian TV network RAI 3 at 8:10pm local time. We already have a database listing here, which will be updated on Sunday with the song(s) performed.
This will be U2's first live performance on an Italian TV show. However, individual members of the band have appeared in performances broadcast on Italian TV (such as Bono on 27 May 2003), and on 25 October 2000 the whole band recorded a radio session in Italy as part of the All That You Can't Leave Behind promo tour.
