U2 on The Graham Norton Show - Updated
Tomorrow's episode of The Graham Norton Show was filmed today in London, and U2 were one of the guests alongside Stephen Fry, Robert Duvall, and Robert Downey Jr.
Graham Norton's website billed U2 as performing "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)", and it was indeed played. In fact, U2 did the song twice. For the first time since the 9th of September it was played by the full band in electric form, not acoustic. One of these performances will be chosen for the broadcast.
Later in the show, at Norton's request, U2 did an acoustic version of "Song For Someone". This is only the second live performance of "Song For Someone", which made its live debut yesterday on Jo Whiley's radio show. So like previous promo tour performances there was an acoustic component to this set. There was also reportedly at least "a bit" of "Desire" played; we don't yet know if this was a snippet or something more.
One photo of the stage shows the band's setup with both electric and acoustic guitars. Our database listing for this concert is here.
