U2's performance at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas CANCELLED
Yesterday, one bit of news got a bit lost in the excitement of U2 announcing their tour for 2015. Unfortunately, the band have had to cancel their performance on 14 December 2014 at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas.
Edge, in a telephone call to KROQ, informed them that Bono is under doctor's orders to stay home. Hence the band have taken the decision to cancel the performance rather than do a repeat of their U2 Minus 1 style set. You can read more quotes from Edge and listen to the full interview here.
If you have tickets to night two of Almost Acoustic Christmas and no longer wish to attend, you can receive a refund via Ticketmaster. You've got roughly a week to get into action; the deadline to claim a refund is 12 December.
