U2FanPeter on Interference continues to be a reliable source of U2 rehearsal news and has posted another update today.
First, he reports that another fan has confirmed to him that I Will Follow and Sunday Bloody Sunday were rehearsed last week. As for the weekend, there was little activity at the Pacific Coliseum.
Today, Bad was rehearsed at least twice, one of which featured Ruby Tuesday and Norwegian Wood snippets. Other songs rehearsed include Desire, Even Better Than The Real Thing, Every Breaking Wave, Pride, and With Or Without You.
Desire was an electric version with a Not Fade Away snippet and a full guitar solo. Not Fade Away was snippeted regularly in Desire on Lovetown and has continued to crop up over the years.
Even Better Than The Real Thing was not played in the modified form used in 2011 on 360. Every Breaking Wave, which was rehearsed full band last week, was done today in the stripped down form of the promo tour. Pride today did not include the All You Need Is Love snippet that was rehearsed last week.
Peter suggests that the string section sighted by fans last week will feature on five songs, and implies that Every Breaking Wave and With Or Without You may be two of them. Take this detail as a rumour for now.
