Vancouver update, 8 May 2015
U2 have continued rehearsing in Vancouver today. Another poster on Interference, dabiggestu2fan, has been posting updates from the venue, starting from here.
He reports the band running through the following songs:
Bullet The Blue Sky (twice in full)
The Hands That Built America (fragments)
The Troubles (fragments)
Sweetest Thing
Even Better Than The Real Thing
Mysterious Ways
Sunday Bloody Sunday (not full band)
Raised By Wolves
He was informed by security that U2 would be doing a dress rehearsal later in the evening, and another person on Twitter has made a tweet to similar effect. We will keep you abreast of developments.
Incidentally, hi U2.com! They have posted an article about five things they can't tell us, including a remark that "the odd familiar melody has escaped the building, sending fans into paroxysms of online speculation". We are only too happy to facilitate these paroxysms as familiar melodies escape the venue. More than just the odd melody has escaped; there are 43 and counting. One part of the article remarks that they have heard three songs not from studio albums. Check our latest count of songs rehearsed in this article and those three would appear to be Sweetest Thing, The Ground Beneath Her Feet, and The Hands That Built America.
