U2 tonight launched the sold out third leg of their Elevation Tour with a blistering set in Notre Dame's Joyce Center, Indiana.
From the opening chords of hit track Beautiful Day, the capacity crowd gave a rapturous reception to the band, who went on to play an outstanding set lasting over two hours. The concert spanned their entire career, including early singles New Years Day and Pride and a selection of tracks from their current, 9-million selling album All That You Can't Leave Behind.
The show was also filmed for the first concert webcast from the Elevation tour, screened live on u2.com. For those who missed it, registered members of u2.com will be able to view the entire concert on demand for the next seven days, along with exclusive footage and crew interviews.
