This leg was planned to be followed by a fifth that would tour Australia, New Zealand, and India, all for the first time. The band felt that they had toured too much in the last few years and needed a break. Australia and New Zealand were instead visited on the first leg of The Unforgettable Fire Tour. U2 did not perform in India until 2019.
