Yay!!! I found a pic of me!! Thats me in the Elevation shirt!! I got one of the sticks RIGHT AFTER this pic too!! Bono slammed the sticks on the drum, causing one to fall in front of me!! thanks Heidi!!!

You seem more interested in the camera than in Bono! Not like a REAL fan to me, sorry!

*dies laughing*Oh Bono, you are such a goofball sometimes!!! LOOK at him! he's holding the drumsticks upside down!

Well I think he does that because the bigger the size of the drumsticks the more effect, I mean, the top is less big then the bottom of the stick, so that's why he uses them upside down I think. You could also just buy bigger ones..

He beats those quite hard,so I guess he would need the bottom part of the sticks. And Ya Ed why arent you looking at the cool cat infront of you????

that makes no sense at all! why else would those sticks have a smaller side to hit the drum with?
From: Octu2 on 2005-11-29 20:14:15
it's physics i think with the smaller end not producing a big enough sound wave.

then why would the sticks be designed that way? the tip of the stick is the same size as the other end, it's just a different form so itll creat some sort of effect... so B is just being a nut and holding them upside down :p

No, I it's not I play drums myself and actualy I tried yesterday to drum with the sticks upside down, it gives more effect. You can buy small and big sticks there's no general size, the top is always thinner then he bottom.

Larry's probably been giving him tips, but even though he only used 1 drum, I thought he was a natural, it's good to see him with different instruments, it proves how multi-talented he is.
