They will probably have nice weather here in Sunny California, since it still will be nice in early November. People here are still wearing shorts and sandels!! Personally I want to burn all my summer clothing, since it is and annoying season to me.

What's wrong with nice weather?!It's raining alreaddy the whole day, here. I had to cycle to school 26 km today, I was so wet.Aargh.

Ojjj Oct... I'm just beginning to change in winter jacket, it's so cold here... Oh how I wish I could wear shorts and sandals, I hate November, did you know that this is the month when suicide rates are in their highest in here? And no wonder, it's so dark, cold and rainy, and people literally forget how to smile... Good thing there's U2, my own little sun shining to me...

you're right susanne, I'm so down today..but this site cheers me up, I hope I'll get over it.

I guess I'm the only weird one, but I do my best thinking and I'm more creative when it is dark and raining!! See here in good old California, you are always in the sun and after awhile it is hard to appreciate it. I think you need every season to fully embrace the others. I learned this more when I was in France, where there are true seasons. I enjoyed summer a lot more. Except the summer of 2003,where I thought I was going to be one of the dead ones in Paris......Hot as hot could get!!

Mariëtte, surely you get over it by with the help of these sites...And Oct... I also love four seasons, I don't think I could live permanently in a country where weather never changes, but still, I really hate November. I'm just waiting for snow, then it gets better...

oh jeez Oct...I remember summer 2003...unbelievable!...We had about 35 c° every day from may to october....btw I agree with ya on 4 seasons...you know Rome gets pretty close to California weather..today it is sunny and it's about 26 c°...I'll probably go to the beach for a walk with my dog!..but I like winter too and snow season...I just adore skying..it's my favourite sport!..what about you Oct?France has nice places for snow seasons....

My Daughter and I attended this event. We had terrible seats E level we felt like we were hanging from the wall. We had to go down to level C.Ironic the tour was called Vertigo. We couldn't see much. I worked like a dog to get the money for tickets but feel fortuneate to have been there. Any way it was worth it especially when Bono was singing Miss Sarejvo in italian...gives me goose bumps.

Does anyone have pic when Bono turned Mellon arena into the Milky way? Would like to have a copy.

I know what you mean Vi....when I heard Bono singing Miss Sarayevo in my language here in Italy my breathe stopped for a while..people were getting crazy about this, who sang, who cried....oh such a wonderful experience!...I wonder if B asked Pavarotti some advices to sing his line as a tenor... :-)))

Lucia, I can't ski. But I love the snow and how cosy it is in the house when it is so cold outside. I was born with hip dyspasia and can't do much now,so to get on skis would be a disaster. :( I really hope he sings Miss Sarayevo at our concert, also Wild Horses.

From: Susanne on 2005-10-25 18:15:18
Hehee Fanny, when did you ski last time? I haven´'t been skiing like... Err.. Five years? Also I have probably forget how to skate, should go and give it a try this winter...
From: fanny on 2005-10-25 18:20:29
it's far to little snow for skiing yet,but it's actually about two years ago, cos' last year I got a snowboard for christmas and it's much funnier than just walking forward. I love the downhills better=P that's funny!but I could go skiing to,of course;)
From: Lucia on 2005-10-25 19:30:05
lo siento Oct for your hip problem...and you right it's so cosy to stay home when outside is snowing...so relaxing!I do really hope Miss Sarayevo will be in all setlists,I like also Wild horses and So cruel from AB...your show would be on Nov so you can tell me more before I leave.... :-))
