Bono sprayed the crowd with his water bottle, then a fan sprayed him right back and got him square in the face. Which is why he is so wet. Then Bono was teasingly threatning to spray the rest of his water at that fan...he never did.

It's hard to tell by the angle but he's actually staring at the fan that sprayed him. Almost daring him to do it again.
