Ok, I think I'm getting green with envy over here in the U.S. I feel like the audience is giving more back to them and he looks like he is having soooo much fun. We have less photos and stupid reviews from stupid Chicago papers. Of course Europe does have the invincible Matt to take all those cool photos. No one has answered Souliecat's question on how the sound was and the feel of it though. From reading some of these coments ,all of you are now on the U2 high that we were : ) I haven't seen any reviews yet on this site for the shows so far. Am I looking in the wrong place. the other fun thing for me is to see all those cute European faces again. Well, keep up all the cool photos guys and please tell us how the audio and feel of the concert was. Ours was indoors and sometimes the sound was distorted. Still a wonderful show though.

Whats say we use this photo as the one to do our worshiping of the guys,like the weird pixely one. We need a new one for the European tour :)

Liz I try to put it that way... on that night I thought the sound was superb. BUt now three days later I think that it wasnt. I cant really remember cause I only watched my darling and freaked completely out because he was there. NOw i think it was only loud and not that good. And I reas from others who were at the other side of the stage that they had not even something that you can call sound. That it could have been anyone playing there. They couldnt even get the song exactly. So I think I was very lucky with my seat .... but again: I dont care of the sound as long as the boys are there doing their thing!HOpe someone else will tell you bout the sound.

Here is a fun little quote that I read on another site. Bono said this at the Brussels concert. "Come on you little box of chocolates. I want to take a bite out of you." Maybe he was trying to get them to sing along with something. Still very funny and very cute,just like him.Yesterday I bought a copy of the magazine MOJO, the British version. And they do a nice interview with the guys and a look back in their career up until Achtung Baby. They caught up with them in Arizona. Bono recalled this super funny thing that happened in the early eighties that just sent me over laughing.He said that he and Adam had decided to take a cross state trip in Arizona,but when Adam kept on farting too much he finally had it and told him to let him out of the car. Bono had decided to hitch-hike back, and these girls from a sorority picked him and took him to a party. Many years later one of those girls ended up working on the production of concerts and she asked him if he remembers having a good time at their party. I thought this was very funny and tried to picture our cute pal out there hitch-hiking away from Adam's smelly farts. Had you ever read this Soulie? I ask you since you do have all things U2 stored in your home :)the MOJO magazine is the June edition,and you get a cool CD free with it. The CD contains music from other groups that U2 like and feel inspired by. Check it out if you get around to it. The cover is super cute,but poor Larry does look a bit haggered. I'm telling you he needs to trim his hair and he will be his youthful self again. Thanks Boomie for the comment on the concert. I think I felt the same way with ours. It was a bit distorted but when you plugged your ears,you could hear it better, and you could hear Bono's voice much better. Like you said though it doesn't really matter since you are there in their presence !!!! Everytime I here City of blinding lights I get that small excited feeling that I did at the conert when they first came out and it was dark. You couldn't see them and then all the confetti poured down on them when the lights came on. I get chills thinking about it right now ! Great memories.

hi Liz! thyis is pretty funny...we gotta family friend who knows that I love U2,and he just visited us for a few days ago and he said: look, Caroline I've got something for you. and then he showed me this magazine and it was MOJO=)it's like 10 or 15 pages of U2=) but Larry looks very skinny on the pictures in his face,I'm getting worried here. What is happening to my dear drummerboy? I don't want him to be so skinny and I really mean it with my heart and soul. I'm really getting worried about my hunnie=(I just wonder about a thing: can we write a ton of messages on the picture were bono is in the air? it's pretty much the same only you can't see the ground so it look like he's flying...love you all of my U2 hunnies=)hugs from a bit of a worried fanny...:(

The other one is way way better (though this one is hilarious too!) =D OMG Oct where'd you get the MOJO mag!!! I want one SOOOOOOOOO badly cuz some of the songs on the CD are from the Ramones and Echo & The Bunnymen and a ton of other people that I really really really like so I want it really bad and anyway if it has a brilliant closeup of our boys on the cover it has got to be promising!!

LOL...yes I know the story of Adam's onerous celebration ....I think they said he ate chili beans (good lord)......but I always thought the story was they kicked him (Adam) out of the Van and he's the one that hitched a ride!!!.... very funny!....Kitty dig through ten foot high pile .....here's one for you'all.... I have a 45minute tape called Arms Around America that came out (on MTV 1987?) showcasing them traveling all over the place mostly Arizona...they are young wild and wooly and all darling as hell ....has them wandering around bars and desert towns ....at one point they go off to to buy cowboyhats and boots and they have a hell of a time at the store...Irishmen in Indian country :) .....then they go out and are talking to local Arizonians that seem a bit of desperado's themselves.... then we find them at there hotel resort eating there meals poolside....then back on there airplane (really small compared to now but still good size...If I recall the plane is two-tonedGREEN but don't hold me to it ) Bono is goofying around then his air-stewardess brings him a big plate of Mexican food so he starts making up this song about his plate of Mexican food enchilada and beans and singing to her...so funny and sweet.....then were back in the desert where a vera vera sexy Bono is running around in the streets in just his leather vest (no shirt ..yippie) and black jeans (though they seem more like couderoy material) hihihi its all in the details girls....anyway he's pretending to hitchhike with Edge then back to the bar playing pool and drinking ....where Larry(oh yes sexy sexy Larry with the short cropped hair (for Slate and Boomie) and opened neck shirt starts singing to a Judds song on a juke box....and oh babaaaay he CAN sing girls).. ;) ...... grrrr

Think Belgium is famous for their chocolate....maybe thats because Bono said that. i read that the audience was a bit lame but maybe thats only because they were stunned to have the boys in town :-)
