I love that walk he does!! I remember seeing it on SBS at Red Rocks.. so sexy, lol.
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-28 16:24:35
he's prolly trying to squeeze all the air out of his lungs.... damn bono, your wrists are big! I have the same wristband and it's size HUGE for me!
From: Octu2 on 2005-08-28 19:11:52
This has got to be my favorite stance he does,it is sooo Bono.
From: Kat on 2005-08-28 21:15:55
It almost seems to epitomise being a teenager, when you're so gangly and you're body seems to big for you, and you always seem to stand awkwardly, lol.. I'm so gangly, and I seem to have no control over my body.. I bring such hilarity to people, lol *claps for Bono's sexy gangly walk!*
From: Ingrid on 2005-08-29 22:36:06
perfect description of us teenagers kat!hm...I bet, in his mind, bono is still a teenager! okay, and he looks very young tho, well, I showed a female friednd of mine a picture from the EU stuck in a moment version of bono lying on the ground in his(who knows what material it is) cute brown coat, and she was like, o_O is that bono? he must be thirty there or so... and then I found a Sometimes screenshot, in his former room, where he looked the same.. but you could see that his worries aged him a little... he looks older now than he did before his father passed away I think....still he looks young and energetic, I wonder if this man will ever run out of energy!

Here I am!! Lots of damage to the house (2 holes in the roof/trees down everywhere/no water or electricity for 5 days) but my family is all here and okVery very very scary though. Forst thing when the electricity came on is to look at the B-man!!
From: fanny on 2005-09-03 23:12:17

From: Octu2 on 2005-09-05 02:15:52
I'm so glad you came on to let us know you are ok. I was thinking about you(even though I don't know you) my heart just goes out to everyone out there. I've been reading all the terrible things in the paper. By the way care to share what your age is since you are married? There is quite a wide range of ages on here and it makes it very fun. I know there are at least two of us on here over forty :)Ingrid, my husband knows my funny obsession :) I don't have any secrets from him and he enjoys some of the funny stories on here. My sister and I always joke around to our husbands that Bono is our boyfriend. My husband knows he is the best in the world and has nothing to worry about. He is a true prince. U2's music just touches me in some way that I can't always explain, and he knows, since he too is a musician himself. when he was younger, he was an exchange student in Sweden and got a job with a well known band there and toured in Sweden with them. He played keyboards. He is talented. Anyway, the answer to your question is that yes he knows and doesn't care It is all in fun anyway.
From: Kat on 2005-09-05 14:35:09
woah! Which band did he play in? I love Swedish rock, lol
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-05 17:12:43
rofl, men are weird...you sure are lucky... cuz I know some dudes who sure'd be jealous at this!and a friend of mine lives in ängelholm, sweden.. he was in a band too, but they quit and he's going to buy a bassguitar now.. he did elec first..
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-05 17:50:59
Well, Ingrid the older they get, they aren't as silly. You are 16 right? Well, yes, I could imagine a teenage boy thinking this was silly and get mad. Kat, you may or may not know them as they were a band in the late 70's the name was "Sista Utvagen" in English I think it means "The Last Way Out" They are not together anymore. According to hubby, they were quite popular at the time.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-05 17:54:57
lol a friend of mine(male 15) made me u2 fan, he likes old u2 alot... but he doesn't shows it.. and I usually talk bono stuff over with him, and he has his obsession for a James bond character.. wich isn't as worse as mine but still.. he talks alot bout her.. rofl.. and for the rest.. about nobody knows about my Obsession for this 45 yo hawt rocker... ^^ and I'll keep it that way! they only know I love u2,and that I am into bono and such, but they don't know it's serious ^^

Still here cleaning up the mess. It is just awful. I did get to see U2 on the Shelter from the Storm benefit concert last night. By the way, I am 41 - married 18 years and have two boys 16 and 13.My husband and boys think I am totally nuts with my U2 (Bono) obsession, but they deal!!! Got to go rip up some more wet carpet.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-10 18:30:14
lol about the being nuts thing ^^ I know the feelign!is there much left of your house/stuff? it must've been quite a shock to return to your home, and see what is left of it...
From: lalatoots on 2005-09-10 18:34:29
Our house faired fairly well. We have two gaping holes in the roof and lots of huge pine trees were knocked over. Fences down and lots of debris but we tarped the roof and can live in the house. We got electricity back a few days ago. We are about 45 minutes north of New Orleans so we didnt get the flood waters. We stayed at home for the storm (scarry, scarry) and will never do that again
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-10 18:37:03
well I hope for you that such a disaster won't struck you again! luckily we dont have those things in northern europe.. I heard in spain some tornado's came last week... but I don't know more about it... sounded quite scary
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-10 19:07:36
Glad to hear that you didn't get the floods Lala. It must ahve been something riding it out in your house!!!! Wasn't Bono cute last night. I just wish he had sung the whole song and not let Mary Blidge do it. Hey we are close to the same age!! Yippee someone else on here that is a 40 something mom and crazy about u2!!! Kindered spirits :) hOpe you get things sorted out soon. Are your kids in School with no problems? My girls are 20 and 15 by the way. They know I'm crazy so they don't care about my obsession. My 15 year old went to the concert with me last April and fell in love with them too.!!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-10 20:13:38
oct, you are a great mom taking your 15 yo girl to a u2 show!!!! Boohooooooo my parents didn't gave me any u2 things...hmm bono looks cute in the new year's day vid.... I'm watching that one now ^^
From: lalatoots on 2005-09-11 18:30:08
Definately kindred spirits!! No school until at least Oct. 3. We live in St. Tammany Parish and they are hoping to start school then. In the mean time they are having band practice about everyday and driving me nuts! Waiting for insurance company to get out here to look at the roof, but slowly we are getting back to somewhat normal. Still no cable tv, so I have been watching all my U2 videos and DVDs
From: Octu2 on 2005-09-12 17:18:14
Not a bad way to spend the day La la!! I'm sure the insurance people are working over time :( What instruments do your boys play? My 15 year old plays the violin, but there is no orchestra at here school so she just takes lessons and plays for fun.
From: lalatoots on 2005-09-13 14:25:37
My oldest plays drums. He has a band and they have played several local clubs (he is the youngest in the band) They are in the process of recording a demo. They are actually pretty good, although I dont really like the type of music they play. My youngest is taking guitar lessons. You are right, I am sure the insurance people are quite busy and considering my house is still standing, we are pretty low priority. Gonna go look at the Toronto pics!!
From: sushi on 2005-09-14 02:04:30
This is a bit random but I saw the word "tornado" and it reminded me of something... in first grade, when I lived in Utah, a F1 (BIG) tornado struck... it went up the street our house was on and totally blew out all the windows and messed up some of the actual structure of the house... my mom was in a big tall business building and she said it got really really pitch black really fast, then there was some lightning and howling winds and it lightened up and there was a tornado right in front of her... terrifying!! I didn't see it, I was at an after school program... Maybe I just have serious thrill issues, but I think it would be terribly fascinating to see a tornado from afar... *signs up for a tornado chase team*

We are just lucky you are still with us LALA. That's neat about your kids music endevors and that one is in a band. That must be fun for him.How are things today with you and your family?
From: lalatoots on 2005-09-16 14:25:23
I am actually going to work today!! Can't believe I am excited about that!! Now I will be going through Bono picture withdrawal since I can't watch my videos as much!

Hey glad to hear things are slowly getting back to normal.
From: Ingrid on 2005-09-16 19:32:11
I read in the paper that about 10000 jobs are gone... and small companies will be gone soon since there's nothing to sell, and nobody to buy.... glad that you stil have your work!
