From: Susanne on 2005-11-18 21:48:34
Hihii yes, and Bono is the monkey who wants his banana.... "I was a monkey stealing honey from a swarm of beees"

Hey this is Tamsen's picture. How as it girl? Looks like you got some great seats!! It looks like a flattened cowboy hat.
From: Susanne on 2005-11-19 17:08:45
Ooops, I didn't even notice... Yeah Tamsen, how was your concert????? And hmmm, Octu, you're probably right... Maybe Bono is showing his hat to audience, like "Look what happened to it when that horrible mister nobuttwonderguy sat on it".... Ojjj, B's great cowboy hat is all flat now...
From: boomcha on 2005-11-19 19:14:54
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs at Susanne! How can it be flat if you all say there is nothing that can make it flat?????????????????????????? still grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!!
From: Ingrid on 2005-11-20 12:48:09
well boomie, let's say it this way... there's no butt to sit on it... but a whole bunch of bones and a little bit of flesh can flatten such a cowboy hat too~!and it still looks like a banana to me! ;)
From: Susanne on 2005-11-20 16:55:32
Hihi Ingrid, I can already see steam rising from Boomie's ears, we better run already, I don't want to have another closer look to Edgie's nobuttwonder....

hmm I just saw slane again... ohh new years day is godlike! when he stands there... there's a GREAT zoom of B's tight behind ^^ rawr! and he looks sooooo adorable in the irish flag! ^^ hihi and I saw the beignning of the vertigo dvd again.. but now I wanted to be on the pc... I hope I'm not damaging the dvd by watching it cuz the store needs to take him back... waaah two-three weeks waiting for the special edition is TOO long! :(

oh triny, then you should visit www.bonoonline.com and go to the image gallery, dvd screencaps, chicago dvd... there's somewhere in the middle a very very nice closeup of Thee Butt!
From: Susanne on 2005-11-21 22:12:21
*falls on her knees next to Triny* Must worship Theee Butt....
From: Ingrid on 2005-11-22 16:39:37
another interesting yet useless fact, During Where The Streets Have No Name it takes Bono 20 seconds to fully run around the heart... wasn't that interesting? I watched slate too much I think... also B has a funny look on his face when he tries to find the guy/gal who threw water on him during All I want is you... I lolled over his comment, All I want is fucking you man! you could take that reeeeeaaallllyyyy weird! ;) hm, and now I can't remember anymore but there was another great closeup of thee Butt...waaah ok, I have to see slane again... can't remember... ><
From: Susanne on 2005-11-22 20:14:30
*still worshipping Thee Butt*Well I love that Slane Castle-concert too, the most beautiful part for me is when B's singing "Wake up dead man", it always makes me cry. Hmmmmmm, maybe I should watch that dvd again soon, too... Hmmmmmm...

Hi everyone!! Sorry I've been off the radar for a while! The Las Vegas shows were fabulous (seems like that word doesn't describe it well enough)! I think Bono took a cowboy hat from someone in the audience. I love having the pics, but I found myself looking through the camera and dancing...not really taking it all in. It was truly magical. The Garden Arena is a small space in comparison to a lot of the other venues. The crowd was tight, excited, knew all of the words to the songs. Everyone on my row for both shows were amazing, from all walks of life and all ages. There was the coolest little kid behind us, one night, with his dad, that didn't stop dancing and singing at the top of his lungs for almost the whole show. He was so cute after...so tired, but so excited. I think he had more fun than his dad! The second night was a treat, to see and hear Mary J. Blige sing "One" was incredible. Her voice was sparking and I loved her arrangement of the tune. Poor Bono's voice seemed a little strained at some points, but during Miss Sarajevo, flawless. Our seats were great. I do wish we had more of a head on view. We missed a lot of the beautiful graphics. I was happy to see some head on pics to catch what I missed.I hope Oct and Soulie had a blast at the Oakland show. Some friends of mine from San Anselmo went, but I still haven't heard their review! I hope you're all well. I got my DVD of the Chicago show and have watched every bit of it. Awesome.Ingrid, I finished Bono in Conversation with Michka Assayas and I am truly grateful to you for suggesting it to me. I found myself in tears at points and laughing hysterically at others. Thank you again.I also checked out the EDUN site and the clothes are lovely. There's a nice little movie about where the clothes are being made and a great interview with the designer. Very nice footage of Bono and Ali, as well. I really like these people!I hope you're all well and I'll be checking in more often now that time will allow!Hugs to you all,Tams

aww your story is very nice^^ good that you ahd a good time... btw I notice only now, check the big guy below B.. hehe his bodyguard really won't lose him out of sigh! hm maybe I should read the conversations book again, read it twice during summer holidays ^^ but did you also get the feeling that you know him better? I really got that feeling... and the first time I read it the africa chapter was too ... much for me I think... I got bored.. but the 2nd time was different.. I think I wanted to read it and to be involved with it in a certain way.. hm what is the adress for the edun website? (sad thing the clothes aren't available here!)nice that you'll be here with us ^^ first bit of info we need... wich bandmember is your fave? ;)hugs

Hi Tamsem, just so you should know your pics are beautiful and I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did. It was magical for me also, this was the first time for me to be front row. Your wright poor Bono's voice seemed a little strained at times, but for me they're the best superstar rock group I know of. I & my family admire very much what he does to make the world a better place & all the people like him who have passion in doing so. When I listen to his songs & speechs, I feel like I know him personally. There should be more people like him.If he would run for priminister BONO would surely have my vote.To Tams & all of you PEACE & LOVE Mark P.S. Tam I have a personal question to ask you I can e-mail me if you want at my address below.Thankse-mail: [email protected]

Tamsen, our Oakland concerts were out of this world!! I went to the one in April/San Jose, and I loved this one in Oakland much better. Sound wise. They were good at the SJ one too,but the sound quality was much better in Oakland. Glad you had a blast.

Hi all!Yeah, I wish the pics were clearer, too! We had great seats, but had to use the macro zoom on the camera to get anything sort of close up.Hey Mark. Were you at the LV shows? Thank you for your sweet comment about the pics. You're the best. It was a challenge to take it all in and try to hold the camera steady!!I totally agree with you about Bono. I really admire him as an activist, a family man and a spiritually sane person. I'll check in with you at your e-address and see what's up.As for picking a fave member....hmmmmm...just can't do it. They all have so many wonderful qualities in each. They all touch me in different ways.Edun.com for info on the clothes.Cool site.Oct, so cool to hear that Oakland was awesome. Wish I could have been there, too :-)Love and Peace or Else!!Tams

Tamsen, nice to know you really enjoyed the concert, and also I read under some other pic that you said the sound was great, although some other reviews said something completely different: well as Soulie said, I rather believe you than them...(Who gives a damn about reviews anyway???) ;) And I see we got explanation for this piccie, too... Hope to see you more here posting. :)And hehe Mark, I think you just said aloud pretty much what most of us are here thinking about Bono! :) Glad to hear you enjoyed your concert, too.

Yes... that is a cowboy hat. It is mine. Bono took it from me, wore it then gave it back to me. I cherish it!!! What an experience. Thanks for the picture.
