Well, I made it by myself...but it took al long time, ..wait I'll say it in Dutch, my English isn't that good to explain this:Ik heb net als Bono rode sterren op m'n jas, k vond mn eigen jas saai en die jassen die Bono draagt met die sterren vond ik zo mooi.Ik heb gewoon uit rood stof sterren geknipt en met de hand op een mouw genaaid...pff was heel veel werk, maar ik ben er nog steeds ontzettend trots op !

Well, yes it took me a long time, but the result is worth it. I think I have worked on it for two or three days when I had my holidays.And I think I will make soon something on the back of the jacket too, something about U2 of course, don't know what yet. Ideas are welcome! But maybe I just sew 'U2' on it.

*hint* CoeXisT! maybe you can put that on the top, and the U2wing(joshua tree logo) below it... hehe that'll give it a bit of a biker's jackett impulse... there's a u2 in it too ^^

no, what it means is that the three main religions( therefor the Jesus cross-christianity, the star of david-jews, and the muslim crescent) should work together, and not fight each other.. coexistance is sort of living together in peace... I think that is what Bono tries to make clear with this..

also, on this, and some other pictures... not only from the tour, but also from signing things... I noticed Bono isn't wearing his wedding ring :S

I noticed that too - and when he does wear a ring on his left hand it is on his little pinky finger...whats up with that:(

well that's an easy one, when they made the rings, something was wrong and it didn't fit his ring finger.. so he wears it on his pinky all his life... but I wonder, did he lose it or just not wearing it because he's affraid of losing:S

In the early days of Ali and Bono's marrige, you can see he wore a thin gold band. Now he wears a ring on his pinky finger, but it isn't the gold band,it is a Claddah ring. It is an Irish ring,that is used sometimes as a wedding ring. Ali doesn't wear a ring either. I have looked at a lot of pictures of her and rarely do you see a ring on her finger. Only a couple times I have seen her wear a silver ring on her thumb. So both of them don't wear "Wedding rings" I think it would be cute if he did though. I love seeing Edge's wedding ring on him. Even Crazy Billie Joe Armstrong from Greenday, wears his wedding ring. He says it always reminds him of his beautiful wife waiting at home for him when he is on tour and she can't come. SOOOO Bono, where is your thin gold band?

oh I thought the pinky was his wedding ring because he lost the old one.. or something like that... can't remember the story anymore nor where I found it... also on the 60 minutes thingy he did wear the pinky ring!

Oct , are you sure it's a claddagh that he wears , I never get a good look at his ring .. I wear a claddagh pendant , and roseary bracelet to represent my love of U2 , if I were a tattoo person I would get one , but i'm not .. I was going to pierce the top of my ear when I saw them in Denver but I ran out of money...

I got a tatoo of the elevation suitcase with the heart in it:) Got that on my 40th b-day.

I've looked at it in super up close pictures and it LOOKs like a claddgh ring? I could very well be wrong, but I think it is a gold one. My daughter's ex boyfriend is from Dublin and he said they use them as wedding rings or just friendship rings. I that is what it is as I think I can see the little crown. On the DVD I noticed that he was not wearing it at all.

Actually its my second:) Before I got married I wanted my hubby to get his ear pierced and the only way to do that was for me to get a tatoo!
